The verse is combining two related events - not that the time between the two events is 1290 days.      But 1290 days from then - something happens.   It does not say what in Daniel 12.    But from Matthew 24:29-24:30a, it will be the sign of the Son of Man in heaven.

--------------------------------------------------------

the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up

The Antichrist will stop the daily sacrifice.    He will be killed for it and brought back to life a few days later to become the beast king.     Then the false prophet will have the AoD image of the beast king made and placed on the temple mount - on day 1185 of the 7 years, 1335 days before Jesus returns on day 2520 of the 7 years.

Aod - 1335 days to Jesus's return

Aod - 1290 days to the sign of the Son of Man in heaven

The 45 days in between, the kings of the earth assemble their armies as Armageddon to try and stop Jesus from returning down to earth and executing judgment on them.

The verse is literally telling it's listeners the exact amount of days from the day the daily sacrifice is abolished to the exact day the abomination that causes desolation is placed in Jerusalem by the armed forces.

Right down to the exact day .

Daniel 12:11

From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

no more and no less but the exact amount of days.

No,the armed forces abolish the daily sacrifice.

Try to keep things biblical if you can.

Daniel 11:31

His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

it's the armed forces who abolish the daily sacrifice.

it's the armed forces that place the abomination that causes desolation.

Daniel 11:31 is historic.   The time of the end verses in Daniel 11 begin in verse 36.

No it isn't

I've been watching the chapter being fulfilled while you have been ignoring it.

You will continue to ignore it as you have decided to put all your trust in the doctrine of the Pharisees who taught that it was already fulfilled.

No, Daniel 12:11 is not saying that.

In Daniel 9:27, it is in the middle part of the seven years that the daily sacrifice is stopped.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

You are ignoring Daniel 11:35.    The time of end is future of that verse.

35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

Daniel doesn't say anything about 7 years.

Like I said ,if you don't stop changing God's word to fit your view then you will never understand it.

The time of the end is 1290 days after the daily sacrifice is abolished in Daniel 11:31.

Daniel 11:33-35

Wise leaders will give instruction to many, but these teachers will die by fire and sword, or they will be jailed and robbed.

During these persecutions, little help will arrive, and many who join them will not be sincere.

And some of the wise will fall victim to persecution. In this way, they will be refined and cleansed and made pure until the time of the end, for the appointed time is still to come.

The time of the end begins when the king of the south attacks the king of the north armed forces in jerusalem in Daniel 40.

The king of the north responds by innihilating many and the armed for es place the abomination that causes desolation.

The time of the end in Daniel 11 begins with verse 36, the willful king.   That king will be the king of the West - the beast king of the EU, with allies likely of the U.S. and Canada, the rest of the powerful western nations, who will be controlling all of the middle east oil at that time.

Near the end of the 7 years, the king of the south will push at "him" the king of the West.   Upon seeing that, the king of the North with quickly join in to attack "him" the king of the West.

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

To add to the king of the West's worries, news out of the east and more from the north are heading toward him.

These movements will be a prelude to Armageddon, drawing all nations into the middle east.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
