In the news….IDF Fends Off Long-Range Threats From Yemen, Iraq

While the intense fighting against Hamas in the Gaza Strip and the daily attacks by Hezbollah in the north take up most of the media coverage about Israel these days, it's important not to forget that Israel is actually in the midst of a war on at least seven fronts.

In addition to the two aforementioned active fronts, Israel has faced constant threats from the West Bank and also suffered attacks from Iran and Syria.

In addition, Iranian proxy militias in Yemen and Iraq have been probing Israeli air defenses with long-range projectiles almost every week, and recently escalated their attacks using larger and more sophisticated munitions.

On Monday morning, a rocket alarm siren was activated in the southern city of Eilat. The IDF later said it had successfully intercepted a surface-to-surface ballistic missile over the Red Sea, using the Arrow defense system.

The Houthi terror group in Yemen has been shooting drones and missiles at Israel in support of Hamas since last October.

While most of its attacks were intercepted, at the start of April a drone struck a building in an IDF naval base in Eilat. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an Iran-backed network of Shia Islamist terrorist groups, took responsibility for the attack.

"Iran is encouraging militias in Iraq to use drones to strike Israel. Iran has backed militias in Iraq for many years, trafficking weapons and drone technology to these dangerous groups," Seth J. Frantzman, an Adjunct Fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, wrote in April.

"The Iran-backed groups in Iraq and in neighboring Syria have carried out hundreds of attacks on U.S. forces over the last four years, and they have expanded their regional threats to attack Israel," he added.

Just a week ago, two additional drones launched by the group were shot down near Eilat by an Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jet, as well as "ground-based air defense systems," the army said.

A few days later, the IDF said it shot down a cruise missile approaching the southern Golan Heights "from the east," a phrase the IDF used in the past to describe attacks launched from Iraq.

The Houthis have attacked Israel at least 53 times since the start of the war, according to the Jerusalem Post, and also severely impacted ship commerce through the Bab al-Mandab straits, effectively shutting off Eilat's once busy port.(end quote)

You would think that these so called “experts” from the UN would know that the Arab countries already rejected a 2 state solution. That is why they started attacking Israel right after the 1948 agreement.  Hello!🤔

In the news…Netanyahu: Israel Prepared for 'Intense Action' Against Hezbollah

Israel is prepared to escalate the military action against Hezbollah, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Wednesday.

"We are prepared for very intense action in the north. One way or another, we will restore security," Netanyahu vowed during a tour of the northern border and the large areas burned as a result of Hezbollah attacks these past days.

"We said at the start of the war that we would restore security in both the south and the north – and this is what we are doing. Today I am on the northern border with our heroic fighters and commanders, as well as with our firefighters."

Yesterday the ground burned here and I am pleased that you have extinguished it, but the ground also burned in Lebanon. Whoever thinks he can hurt us and we will respond by sitting on our hands is making a big mistake," the prime minister said.(end quote)

In the news….Ex-Israel Defense Boss: Iran Wants 'Holocaust' in 2 Years

Former Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman on Wednesday warned that Iran has a "plan for destruction" and "a Holocaust" if the country develops a nuclear weapon in the next two years, the Jerusalem Post reports.

Liberman, who heads the conservative Yisrael Beytenu political party in Israel, told Army Radio in an interview, "We are in the midst of an Iranian plan of destruction."

He added, "After they acquire a nuclear bomb within two years, Israel will be attacked with the aim of destroying it from multiple fronts with tens of thousands of missiles simultaneously. They are planning a Holocaust for us in the next two years."(end quote)

This is why I believe Israel will strike Iran first, before it is able to carry out their desired destruction of Israel.

In the news….UN Puts Israel on Blacklist for Harm to Children in Conflict Zones
 

Israel will join countries like Afghanistan, Congo, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, and Syria, as well as terrorist organizations like al-Qaida, ISIS, and Boko Haram. Last year, Russia was added to the list for attacking Ukrainian schools and hospitals and transferring children from Ukraine to Russia.

The list includes the aforementioned countries and organizations under the heading, "Parties that have not taken sufficient steps to improve the protection of children."(end quote)

Developing countries call on US to lift Palestinian UN veto

 

The D-8 group of developing nations called on Saturday for the U.S. to lift its veto on the full membership of Palestine as an independent and sovereign state in the United Nations.

The Palestinians are currently a non-member observer state, a de facto recognition of statehood that was granted by the U.N. General Assembly in 2012.

In a declaration after a meeting in Istanbul of its council of ministers, G-8 members Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey also demanded all countries stop supplying weapons and ammunition to Israel.(end quote)

You can see where all this is headed.  If they make Palestine (so called) a member state of the UN then the UN can use military force and other means against Israel.  All this is going to lead to the battle of the great day of God Almighty.

Here is what I think.  I think the antiIsrael coalition in the UN will try to force this Palestinian state resolution with help from the antiIsrael coalition in the US BEFORE the U.S. election in November.

Because the liberal left knows if Trump or anyone else on the conservative Right gets elected as President in November, then the resolution will not pass.  
 

So they are going to push real hard to pass this resolution for Palestinian state hood.

In the news….Gaza War Protesters Slam Biden in WH 'Red Line' Rally

Thousands of Gaza war protesters held a "red line" rally near the White House on Saturday, voicing anger at what they said is US President Joe Biden's tolerance of Israel's bloody military campaign against Hamas.

Chanting "From DC to Palestine, we are the red line," the demonstrators held a long banner scribbled with the names of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces, as the fighting enters its ninth month.

Biden has faced criticism for playing a balancing act on key ally Israel's actions in the conflict.(end quote)

They are really putting the pressure on old Joe to change his mind.  Biden has put himself between a rock and a hard place by trying to play both sides of this conflict.  Let’s see if sleepy Joe caves in to the demands of the radical left and terrorists.

In the news….IDF: Hezbollah Tried to Down Israeli Fighter Jets Over Lebanon

Hezbollah terrorists in Southern Lebanon launched anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli fighter jets on Sunday, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

"A terrorist cell fired anti-aircraft missiles toward IDF fighter jets operating above Lebanon. No danger was posed to the fighter jets and no injuries were reported. A few minutes later, an IAF aircraft struck and eliminated the terrorist cell that carried out the launches in the area of Tyre," the military reported.

The incident marks the first time since the start of the war some eight months ago that the Iranian terror proxy has attempted to bring down IDF jets, and comes as Hezbollah has been ratcheting up its attacks against northern Israel in recent weeks.(end quote)

I believe this will be the next battle that the IDF will have to fight in Lebanon against Hezbollah.  Hezbollah has a stronger force than Hamas, but the IDF will have no problem dealing with them as long as no other countries intervene like Iran and Syria.

If they do intervene then things could get Biblical, if you know what I mean.😊
