In the news….Israeli Official: Hamas Has Rejected Gaza Proposal

Hamas has rejected a Gaza ceasefire proposal outlined by U.S. President Joe Biden, an Israeli official said on Tuesday, after receiving the Palestinian militant group's response through mediators.

"This evening, Israel received, via the mediator, the Hamas response. In its response, Hamas has rejected the proposal for a hostage release that was presented by President Biden," the Israeli official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"They (Hamas) have changed all of the main and most meaningful parameters," the official said.(end quote)

Hezbollah Launches 215 Rockets, Several Missiles And Drones At Israel After Death Of Sr. Hezbollah Commander
 

In retaliation for the death of a key commander in the terrorist group by an Israeli attack the previous night, Hezbollah launched over 215 rockets, along with a number of additional missiles and drones, towards northern Israel on Wednesday.

 

The barrages were Hezbollah’s largest offensive attack yet, after October 7^th, with the ongoing fighting on Lebanon’s border.

In addition, the terrorist group declared that it would now intensify its attacks in retribution for Israel taking down Taleb Abdullah, its top commander. Senior Hezbollah official Hashem Safieddine declared during a funeral procession in Beirut that Hezbollah would heighten the volume, vigor, and intensity of its activities against Israel.(end quote)

Things are heating up to the north, things could escalate quickly with the possibility of more actors from other countries coming into play.

In the news….Navy Faces Most Intense Combat Since WWII Against Houthis

The U.S. Navy prepared for decades to potentially fight the Soviet Union, then later Russia and China, on the world's waterways. But instead of a global power, the Navy finds itself locked in combat with a shadowy, Iran-backed terrorist group based in Yemen.

The U.S.-led campaign against the Houthis, overshadowed by the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip, has turned into the most intense running sea battle the Navy has faced since World War II, its leaders and experts told The Associated Press.

The combat pits the Navy's mission to keep international waterways open against a group whose former arsenal of assault rifles and pickup trucks has grown into a seemingly inexhaustible supply of drones, missiles and other weaponry. Near-daily attacks by the Houthis since November have seen more than 50 vessels clearly targeted, while shipping volume has dropped in the vital Red Sea corridor that leads to the Suez Canal and into the Mediterranean. 

The Houthis say the attacks are aimed at stopping the war in Gaza and supporting the Palestinians, though it comes as they try to strengthen their position in Yemen. All signs suggest the warfare will intensify — putting U.S. sailors, their allies and commercial vessels at more risk.

“I don't think people really understand just kind of how deadly serious it is what we're doing and how under threat the ships continue to be,” Cmdr. Eric Blomberg with the USS Laboon told the AP on a visit to his warship on the Red Sea.

“We only have to get it wrong once," he said. "The Houthis just have to get one through.”(end quote)

This just goes to show how far reaching the tentacles of Iran (the bears feet) truly are.  Iran is the main source of funding to these terrorists groups.

In the news…White House Cancels Meeting with Israel on Iran over Netanyahu Video

The White House has canceled a meeting with Israel to discuss the growing threat from Iran, retaliating against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his claim Tuesday that the Biden administration was delaying weapons deliveries.

On Tuesday, Netanyahu posted a video online in which he said that the administration had been withholding some weapons, and he urged the White House to resume shipments. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said hours later that the administration did not know what Netanyahu was talking about.(end quote)

I tend to believe Netanyahu over the White House, it is well known that the Biden White House had with held weapons from Israel.

The White House is now trying to play ignorant because there is an election coming up.  Shameful😞

Head of Lebanon's Hezbollah threatens Israel, Cyprus in televised address

The head of Lebanon's Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warned on Wednesday that his group would fight with "no rules" and "no ceilings" in case a broader war with Israel erupted, and that nowhere in Israel would be safe from Hezbollah's attacks.

In a televised address, Nasrallah said that included possible targets in the Mediterranean Sea. Nasrallah also threatened Cyprus for the first time, saying Hezbollah could consider it "a part of the war" if it continued to allow Israel to use its airports and bases for military exercises.(end quote)

Houthis Sink 2nd Vessel; Shipping Industry Urges Red Sea Action

Urgent action must be taken in the Red Sea to stop attacks on merchant shipping by Yemen's Houthis, leading industry groups said on Wednesday, after the sinking of a second ship.

Iran-aligned Houthi militants first launched drone and missile strikes on the important trade route in November in what they say is solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. In more than 70 attacks, they have also seized one vessel and its crew and killed at least three seafarers.

"It is deplorable that innocent seafarers are being attacked while simply performing their jobs, vital jobs which keep the world warm, fed, and clothed," the world's top shipping associations said in a joint statement.(end quote)

Why is the UN not outraged by this?  In the old days, the sinking of ships was an act of war.  But the UN seems to be more concerned about what Israel is doing to fight an Iran proxy war than what Iran is doing through it’s terrorist organizations.

It is just a matter of time before Israel engages Iran directly, and hopefully the US will support Israel in their fight against Iran.

In the news….Netanyahu: 'Trickle' of US Weapons Coming In

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Punchbowl News on Friday that despite claims from the U.S. State Department, "barely a trickle" of the weapons promised by the Biden administration are reaching Israel.

Netanyahu responded to criticism of a video he posted in English on Tuesday, in which he called out the Biden administration for withholding weapons shipments from Israel. Secretary of State Antony Blinken dismissed Netanyahu's charges and said, "Everything is moving as it normally would."

In an interview, Netanyahu said his Defense Department officials told him that "barely a trickle" of the weapons and munitions promised by the White House are coming in. The Israeli prime minister stressed that he wasn't speaking of advanced fighter jets that are years away(end quote)

Well, the Biden White House is starting to show its true colors when it comes to supporting Israel.  The Biden White House and it’s military Chiefs just gave Iran the go ahead to attack Israel from the North by its proxy armies.

But I can think of no better time for God’s favor to return to Israel than after all of Israel’s allies have forsaken them.
