Looks like this war against Hezbollah in Lebanon is getting closer.  This could led to a broader escalation of war in the Middle East.

Iran's UN Mission to Israel: 'Obliterating War' if Lebanon Attacked

Iran's U.N. mission said on Friday that if Israel embarks on a "full-scale military aggression" in Lebanon, "an obliterating war will ensue."

The Iranian mission also said in the post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that in such an event "all options, incl. the full involvement of all resistance fronts, are on the table."(end quote)

In the news….British Authorities Accused of Hiding Funds Tied to Anti-Israel Terror Groups

The British Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has reportedly tried to cover up funding of £22 million ($27.8 million) for groups affiliated with anti-Israel terrorism, according to the research institute NGO Monitor.

Established in 2002 and based in Jerusalem, NGO Monitor specializes in monitoring funding of non-governmental organizations within the context of the Arab-Israeli conflict. The controversy concerns £22 million in funds that were transferred to undisclosed recipients as part of a Palestinian Arab aid program in 2019-2020 under the leadership of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). In 2021, NGO Monitor officially requested the names of the specific funding recipients, but FCDO denied the request.

After three years of legal struggle, the Information Commission (IC) granted a hearing to NGO Monitor. However, the IC eventually sided with FCDO and ruled that disclosing the sensitive information could potentially undermine Great Britain’s international diplomatic ties.(end quote)

In the news…Iran Ups Hezbollah Weapons Shipments as US, Europe Try to Prevent Lebanon War

The Iranian regime has significantly increased its shipments of weapons to the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah in recent months, amid diplomatic efforts by the U.S. and European countries to prevent an escalation of the ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel into full-blown war.

Among the most significant weapons systems Iran recently supplied are additional anti-aircraft defense systems, which can threaten Israel's air superiority, according to Ynet News.

In recent months, the terror group has tried to shoot down Israeli aircraft numerous times, succeeding in hitting and intercepting five Israel Defense Forces drones so far. Israel in turn responded with strikes against Hezbollah's aerial defense array, taking out several of its launchers.

Iranian shipments reportedly also contain advanced Almas anti-tank missiles, an Iranian development based on the Israeli Spike missile that Hezbollah obtained during the Second Lebanon War in 2006.

The missiles are long-range and very accurate due to a camera in the warhead that allows the operator to guide it in flight.

The Iranian regime is regularly supplying weapons to Hezbollah, its main military proxy in the region, through a sophisticated network of smuggling routes spanning across Iraq and Syria into Lebanon. (End quote)

“Aides present in the Situation Room the night that Iran hurled a barrage of missiles and drones at Israel portrayed a president in commanding form, lecturing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by phone to avoid a retaliatory escalation that would have inflamed the Middle East. 'Let me be crystal clear,' Mr. Biden said. 'If you launch a big attack on Iran, you're on your own.'

"Mr. Netanyahu pushed back hard, citing the need to respond in kind to deter future attacks. 'You do this,' Mr. Biden said forcefully, 'and I'm out.' Ultimately, the aides noted, Mr. Netanyahu scaled back his response."

This proves to me that Biden is unfit for office for threatening Israel if they respond to Irans aggression.

This also proves Biden’s support for Israel is not “iron clad” as they suggest.

In the news….Lebanon's Hezbollah Rains 200 Rockets on Israel

Lebanon's Hezbollah launched more than 200 rockets and drones at Israeli army positions on Thursday, escalating tensions between the two adversaries as the Israel-Hamas war rages in Gaza.

Hezbollah said it fired more than 200 rockets and "explosive drones" at army positions in northern Israel and the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights in retaliation for an Israeli strike that killed one of the Iran-backed group's commanders.

Air raid sirens blared across northern Israel in the morning, and an AFP correspondent witnessed rockets crossing the frontier that were mostly intercepted by Israeli air defences but sparked wildfires.(end quote)

In the news….Netanyahu Sets Red Lines in Hostage Release Talks With Hamas

Israel's red lines for a cease-fire are the ability to resume fighting until all war goals have been met; an end to arms smuggling into Gaza through Egypt; no return of "thousands" of terrorists to Gaza's north; and maximizing the number of living hostages released, according to the PMO.

Mossad Director David Barnea traveled to Doha, Qatar, over the weekend to jump-start talks. Upon his return, Netanyahu's office said that a team would be dispatched this week to continue the negotiations.

However, the PMO cautioned on Saturday however that "it should be emphasized that there are still gaps between the sides.(end quote)

I really don’t see Hamas agreeing with Israeli conditions on a cease fire. I think this cease fire talks is all a stall tactic so that Iranian proxy forces can be gathered to the North in Lebanon. 
 

Islam is not going to stop trying to destroy Israel, both sides know that.

Recent elections in Britain and France show these allies of Israel have now gone to the far leftist parties, which is the anti-Israel left.

This is also a concern for Israel in the U.S. as well.

In the news….Israel: 'No Role for UNRWA in Gaza' as Agency Hires Hamas

Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office slammed the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees a day after Israel’s Foreign Ministry revealed that the aid agency is employing hundreds of terrorists.

The Foreign Ministry attached a list of the names and ID numbers of 108 UNRWA employees who are also Hamas terrorists in a letter to UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini on Wednesday.

It was a “small fraction” of a much larger list including hundreds of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) members who also worked for UNRWA, the letter said. The wider list could not be released due to security considerations.

Israel has told donor countries that hundreds more of UNRWA’s 13,000 local staff are active Hamas terrorists, including school teachers,” Israeli government spokesman David Mencer told press on Thursday following the revelations.

“We have provided much evidence that UNRWA works hand-in-hand with Hamas,” he said, referring to the discovery of a Hamas server farm underneath UNRWA headquarters in Gaza City, the UNRWA employees who took part in the Oct. 7 massacre and the Hamas tunnels underneath UNRWA schools, among other examples.

“We gave this evidence again and again to UNRWA. Israel also sent the names to countries that fund UNRWA. Many like the U.S. and the UK froze their funding to UNRWA,” he said.

Mencer indicated that UNRWA continues to deny its many connections to Hamas, noting that on Wednesday, Sam Rose, UNRWA’s director of planning, denied to BBC’s Newshour any evidence his organization supported Hamas.

“Our message to media is when using Sam Rose as your on-the-ground expert, please introduce him as ‘Sam Rose, spokesman for Hamas,’” Mencer said.Mencer stressed that the days of UNRWA in Gaza are numbered.

“UNRWA are useless at aid distribution. UNRWA are useless at education, except glorifying suicide bombers and encouraging Jew-killing, and Israel sees no role whatsoever for UNRWA in Gaza after this war ends,” he said.(end quote)
