I assumed you realized you ran out of steam days ago. I guess it took awhile. Pretending there is some mystery secret unspeakable science you comprehend that you could somehow not post on the issues here is dishonest and ridiculous. I have seen what science preaches on these matters. They expound upon the natural realities of the present, trying to explain all the past and future by these.

Then you mentioned some made up left field nonsense about 'Lucifer's flood'. More foolishness. Neither bible or science. You are done all right!

Then you alluded to many 'global floods' in the past. Another foolish crock.

Then in your last post you displayed a true ignorance of the bible by saying this "biblical account of the floods I've mentioned"

ONE word means everything in Genesis chapter one. In verse 14 that ONE word is "firmament". God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven' Paul talks about the Twinkle of an eye but we talk about the twinkle of a star. That is from the way the "firmament" effects the light. I actually was an electrician on the lighting crew for theater. So I can tell you a lot about light. You can go to a concert and we put on a huge light show for people. I can change the color of the actors or dancers costume with light filters. That is what the firmament does is filter the light or bend it. People understand how light is reflected but they do not know how it is filtered. It use to be a church had stained glass windows but not so much anymore.

Science has a method and if you want to apply Science then you have to use Science to interpret or understand the Bible. This is different from Biblical hermeneutics.

Brother, could you cite a Biblical passage and show how you have to apply the scientific method to "interpret it or understand it."  Any passage will do.

I'm confused because I have always taken the Bible on faith.  Read, study, memorize, and meditate of course as the Bible says to do that, but for me it's faith.

Any verse? Then lets look at the first verse: "1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"

What does "beginning" mean? Is that a reference to the "Big Bang". That is a hypothesis that needs to be proven. But the real issue is when we get to the word "created".  For example we ask the question did Adam have a belly button? Some say yes, some say no. For some their hypothesis is that Adam instantly appeared and for others he evolved. 

Science has a method for testing a hypothesis. In Bible College they teach us that we use the Bible to interpret the Bible. For the conservative Rabbi they talk about how the individual letters in a word has meaning. That letter are not just a sound they have symbolic meaning. 

So now we have three ways to look at the Bible. 

The scientific method is a systematic process used by scientists to explore observations, answer questions, and test hypotheses. It involves several key steps:

1. Observation: Noticing and describing a phenomenon or a group of phenomena.
2. Question: Formulating a question or identifying a problem based on the observation.
3. Hypothesis: Proposing a tentative explanation or prediction that can be tested.
4. Experiment: Designing and conducting experiments to test the hypothesis. This involves manipulating one or more variables to observe the effect on other variables.
5. Data Collection: Gathering and recording data from the experiments.
6. Analysis: Analyzing the data to determine whether it supports or refutes the hypothesis.
7. Conclusion: Drawing conclusions based on the analysis. If the hypothesis is supported, it may become a theory. If not, the hypothesis may be revised or rejected.

I didn't ask you to cite the scientific method.  I know that.

I asked you how you use ALL EIGHT steps to "prove" the Bible.

You are saying that "in the beginning" needs to be proven?  If Adam had a belly button needs to be proven?

That God created Adam or Adam evolved needs to be proven? 

Scientifically, these things cannot be proven using the scientific method.

Why?  You can't [1] observe these things, [2] test these things, [3] analyze these things, [4] collect data on these things (as far as evolution of Adam, there is no data to collect), or [5] share finding because there ARE no findings.

One either believes the Bible or they don't.

You are entitled to your opinion. My father was a medical doctor. Half the people would NOT be alive today if they had not been vaccinated as children. I know modern medicine is a lot different today from what it was. One of my doctors just retired because he can not practice medicine they way this new generation does it.  

My brother has done medical missionary work. If you go to a third world nation that does not vaccinate there is a much higher death toll. Look at the chart to see the improvements they are making.
