Okay, There are theories galore and predictions by the boatload right now as the chaos of evil manifests itself. This Christian pundit and that one, along with  pundits of many diverse backgrounds,  point, and point yet again at their own predictions and theories. Seeking  what? Seeking credit for being enabled to at some point state, " I told you so?" What good is there in that  little reward?

I find zero value in the various pundits pontifications if there is not  clear enlightenment for action to apply for today's use. What application is there for today that each  and every Christian might be applying  in their own  walk?

This is something that I've found that can go either way. What you've said is certainly a possible motivation. Some people like to be seen/heard for sure. When I involve myself in this sort of thing I tend to approach it from a speculative mindset. Maybe a given event does fit in, maybe it doesn't.

Despite being a little jaded about it I do think it serves a few purposes. Just looking at it from the speculative view it's interesting, so talking about it with other believers who also enjoy it becomes a point of Christian fellowship. I've come to enjoy a brother here's posts on such things and even if we have different takes it still feels like an interesting thing to talk about. The discussions also turn our thoughts toward God. That adds an encouraging element to things that would otherwise be rather depressing and potentially fearful topics, such as recent events in Israel and the changing values of the world today.

The best wisdom I think I've heard is, "Be ready!"  That is, watch and be careful how we walk daily - turning our hearts to Him, being filled with His life and purpose, testifying of Christ in our life, caring for others, etc.

To me, to prep much is to be living in fear.  (He may tell someone something specific in a way of prepping, but so far I haven't heard that from Him)

              Predictions and Theories

"What application today  in their own  walk?"

"Be ready!"  That is, watch and be careful how we walk daily"

"It's interesting,  talking about it for Christian fellowship"

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,

not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another,

and all the more as you see the Day drawing near"

The past is past, learn from it. The future is in the future, to come. Very Interesting.
But I live in the today, now.

"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

                                                 Love your neighbor as yourself"

"He that winneth souls is wise"

A great scriptural verse, easily understandable. Thanks Mr M. Tells me the importance of all scripture.
For doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.  I have quoted that verse also.

Now what. I understand the verse and it's meaning. Really I do.
So should I read more, study, discuss, debate, predict, argue, research, theorize,
analyze, to be complete, thoroughly equipped for the good works?  OT thru NT. Alpha-2-Omega.

Or should I practice what I do know already, to present my body as a living sacrifice. Holy-Acceptable.
As a man, a husband father grandfather brother in Christ, a son of God, responsible to my calling.
Use as a good steward what I have been blessed with already. And share my victories, my defeats in my walk.
Try to express to others that I have graduated from theological grade school and want to start/continue  running the race.  I really want to be a do-er and not just a hear-er of the ALL scriptures. Lets start talking about that stuff, the race. What works, what to avoid, how to strengthen our discipline, abide, let God straighten our paths etc.

We are all in the race. We are all soldiers in the army of God. I do not want to be classified as AWOL.

The apostle James, the brother of Jesus, explained that hearers only listen and know God's Word,
but never live it out, Doers, on the other hand, listen, know, and obey.

“But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.” – James 1:22

I may be the most brilliant theologian in the world. But can I, or do I, know how to wash feet?

And wash those feet to the Glory of God......:)

For me the scriptures are the topic for every conversation I have with the Lord during my private devotionals, and the means which the Holy Spirit speaks to me by way of remembrance in every circumstance. The Scriptures are a collection of Memorials that serve for our Remembrance. By this we are admonished, Remember!

zakar=remember, the root word for memorial and remembrance.

For me, this is the only legitimate application for

the prophetic testimony concerning Christ.

John 16:4 But these things I have told you,

that when the time comes,

you may remember that I told you of them

“And these things I did not say to you at the beginning,

because I was with you.

Especially Revelation

1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy,

and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

22:

18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of

the prophecy of this book:

If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him

the plagues that are written in this book;

19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the

book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from

the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things

which are written in this book.

I avoid making predictions.

As to how this pertains to faith in Yeshua?

"Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Rev 19:10

This is the only legitimate eschatology that I find:

Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west,

so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

In other words, you will see me when you see me, and you will know,

"that when the time comes,

you may remember that I told you of them"

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
