The bad serves as a contrast to how good we have it. Maybe not always in apparent physical ways, but we are tapped into the vine, the source of all nourishment.

God is never the author of confusion, and anything that happens He is going to work eventually for our good.

I have had people praying for my healing completely, and so far I feel great! I hope God chooses to heal me completely. One pastor I know recently told me I looked great.

I responded back, " you prayed for me didn't you"? How many times do people pray and then act surprised at the outcome?

I laughed because that is too accurate. It doesn’t matter how many times God has moved in my life, I’m always surprised.

Haha I agree! When I evangelize, the Holy Spirit fills me with confidence I don’t have. I still have the Ahab spirit (fear of man) and get nervous talking to men about God. Since all the men in my life growing up were weak and angry, that’s all I knew.

My trust in God has grown since I’ve posted this. I’ve developed more of a relationship with God and He has already healed me twice, no three times of physical ailments I’ve had. I think that’s a testimony in and of itself because it’s only been 2 whole months since I turned away from sin and worldly things to follow God.

I don’t think that I realized the damage I (and other people) had done to my physical, mental, emotional and sadly, spiritual state. I am literally having to be delivered from tons of physical ailments, soul bondage, etc. this brings on a whole new meaning to “born again” for me lol. My deliverance and healing is going to take a while and while the process is painful, it will be worth it.

Hi @Alexis8763 Interesting that John's First Epistle speaks a lot of the theme of assurance.  1 Thessalonians 1.5 says: "For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake."

We are meant to be here to be lights to the world. But I was saying that Satan is allowed authority on the earth. He’s the prince of the world. God gives him authority over the non-believers, their souls are his. Even some people that are “Christians” are going to hell because they aren’t born again.

I definitely take back what I said about life being boring. Spiritual warfare is obviously ANYTHING but boring lol. I now know how to fight demons, I’m less scared of them now and that’s the goal. Cause I’ll be doing this my whole life or until Jesus returns. Also Jesus is giving me dreams and sometimes I pray from 12-3 am. :) God is amazing!

Oh yes. The attacks obviously ramped up when I repented and fully turned to God. It’s insane. But so many “Christians” told me that I shouldn’t be attacked if I was a believer and that Satan would leave me alone. So I was confused for a good while lol. But now it makes complete sense that Satan would go for Christians because the unbelievers are content in their wickedness. How much more of a gain would it be to Satan to wear down a Christian?

If I am being totally real, I know God may answer my requests in another way and I guess for me personally that would not have been a surprise just maybe me being a little deflated over an answer I didn't want. I determined in myself to be like that Roman soldier who had enough faith to believe his child could be healed, and God healed from a distance on that occasion.

Since my expectation at asking is to recieve, I fully expect it. I think my faith is very strong in His capabilities and Love. I KNOW God heals and I KNOW He heard my prayers and the prayers of others.

There are some who would give what I call alternate answers to these outcomes that to me almost seem like cop outs. For instance, Yes if you die you will be completely healed. Not sure if I like that answer. It has good characteristics, but in another way it seems like lipsick on a pig. Yes it's true, but God knows that isn't what someone is asking when they ask to be healed.

Don't get me wrong, I am not into the faith healing thing as a circus side show. God does it his way, not the way some prosperity TV preacher says.

That reminds me of this verse: “There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.”

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
