This is what I posted:

FreeGrace said:

That is made very clear in the account of Cornelius, from Acts 10 and 11.  Peter clearly equated receiving the Spriit (baptized) with believing the gospel.

Why did you quote irrelevant verses to my post?  I gave you the SPECIFIC verses that equate believing with being baptized with the Spirit.  Why did you ignore the verses I quoted for you?  Here they are for you again.

Acts 10-

43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
45 The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles.
Acts 11-
14 He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.’
15 “As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
16 Then I remembered what the Lord had said:  ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
17 So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”

The verses above show clearly that believing and being baptized with the Spirit are equated.

Sorry, if I posted the wrong scripture.

This scripture you post above makes no sense to me...I can only understand the scripture that Jesus explains to Nicodemus how we become Born Again....like the wind...the Holy Spirit is like the wind you never know when he will Baptise us in the Spirit.

Jesus Teaches Nicodemus-

The verse being discussed is 3:8 This describes the characteristics of a person already born again.

Verse 16-18 describes what is necessary to get there.

Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.[a]

“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[b] gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You[c] must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”[d]

“How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.[e] 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,[f] 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”[g]

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 1This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Yes, and this is the only part I understand in the Spirit...as I was Born Again like the wind, I hadn’t a clue that the Holy Spirit was about to Baptise me in the Spirit, when he did as he was in dwelling me, the Spirit testified with my spirit that I was God’s child...beautiful and pure ...

As I know, one is born again, or baptized with the Spirit by believing in Jesus Christ for salvation.  I've shown from Scripture.

As I've pointed out, the Spirit testifies WITH our spirit, not TO our spirit.  Both our spirit and the Spirit testify TO God the Father.  When we pray, as the context shows.

I don't know what you are describing, because placing faith in Christ is a moment process.  Not a long one.  What verse supports your claim?

After all those posts and after all those testimonies that glorified Jesus Christ and not a word against Jesus Christ and not a word complementing any other religion and the questions are asked in a such way that you can not tell that she believes in Jesus Christ and very much so. Wondering about that. Because in the past you have done the samething to me making these kind of interrogating questions to me, bringing doubts to the minds of others about my believing in Jesus Christ and post after post which I understood that it was against the tos to make these strong personal questions after lengthy discussion and after repeated confession that only complement the name of Jesus. You did a similar questioning asking are you really a believer in Jesus Christ did really the spirit that empowered you in your faith in Jesus Christ was the Holy Spirit? Questioning our sister as you have done to me with very strong personal questions talking about the person instant about the subject of the OP. I did not reported anything that time because I acted in love giving time to come around as long as it takes. She repeatedly complained that she is being questioned and opposed till she gives another confession the one that pleases others.

Verse 8 in John 3:8 it describes something that happened from God to someone as a believer in Jesus Christ and that happens in secrecy between God and the person which tells us that no one can tell because no one witness but God and the person God put on fire. I believe her not just because she says so but also by her own testimony that because of that God has changed her heart. What a beautiful testimony, God intervene and took over from people who tried and failed to heal her heart and decided to do that himself. And by doing that he made himself known to her beyond any reasonable doubt. That surely can empower someone's faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and in the work of the Holy Spirit.

Your post makes perfect sense to me Brother.

As long as  we know we are Born Again, I have no need to question others, as I’m very secure in my Faith, as it was God given...Praise God, my friend...xoxo

Her testimony what Jesus did to her first and then he quided her to bye a bible and then the Holy Spirit quided her to the Gospel of John 3: and verse 8 so she will know and understand what happened to her that it was from the Holy Spirit from Jesus Christ as not to have any doubts when people are questioning her experience something Jesus Christ did. And I believe that this is not the first and the last that other visitations will follow. Jesus had to intervene and take matters in his own hands that what he did with our sister amongs other things to make her know that she is loved by him and that she is very precious to him that he knows her and he is going to take care of her from now on. What a blessing wow. She received a deposit of the Holy Spirit to let her know and to make Jesus known in her heart. As the scripture says "I will put my Spirit in your heart and you will know the Lord and God himself will teach you all things. "

There is something else that you mentioned repeatedly in your posts and I will recall it by memory because I post from an IPhone. It is about the scripture that we are born from an imperishable seed which is the word of God (I am not sure about the exact words but the meaning is there). This is telling us and there is a reason why and there is another reason why that was told from someone who was born and raised up in the Old Testament under the Sinai Covenant and now was a believer in Jesus Christ to him those words had a very special meaning. The central point of his comment it was that we believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we are born from him we have received from his Spirit we are in him He is the imperishable seed that lives and abides forever and He will live and abide forever. The disciple wanted to emphasize to the believers to look to Jesus Christ to look to their faith in Jesus Christ that they were born to him when they first believed. The disciple himself describes many of the encounters the believers in Jesus Christ even the experiences they had with the visitation of the Holy Spirit in their walk in the faith. This is one of them which happened after the day of Pentecost and after the Cross of Jesus Christ and after the Hostility they received from the High Priest and the leaders of the people.

They were quided to visit the Temple and they had heard the words of Jesus when he had told them that he will be with them always. But the problem was that they cannot see him and they were used to see him with them and followed him for many years but now after the Cross and with Jesus Christ ascended to the Heavenly Father? They cannot see him and were about to enter the Temple. Was Jesus with them would Jesus Christ enter the Temple with them? By that time after the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit represented Jesus Christ and they were about to enter the Temple (hostile environment, the territory of the people who crusified Jesus Christ not all of them as some of them had believed and one of them was the same Nicodemus Jesus had spoken to. And then at the gate to the Temple Peter was taken over by the Holy Spirit and he said things to the beggar at the gate and he did things that were not premeditated. And Peter said what happened it happened in the name of Jesus meaning as if Jesus was there himself and he enter the Temple with them and he showed the paralytic man and he healed him as he was doing when he was with them before the Cross. This Event empowered the disciples to enter the Temple (hostile environment) and speak of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We understand that the Holy Spirit was with them empowering them as in the day of Pentecost but all that took place at the gate of the Temple empowered the faith of the disciples and made them stronger like their faith was increased and for us also when we read those testimonials from the disciples our faith is also elected is increased if we received those events that happened they happened from Jesus Christ and it is the work of the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit takes from Jesus Christ to us. For me when I hear your testimony and how Jesus Christ revealed himself to you I understand and I believe it this is why I say Amen and my faith in Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit is increased it should increased or affirm my faith in him which as a mature believer I am already grounded in the faith of Jesus Christ beyond return nothing there is nothing to persuade me other wise and when I hear testimonials as the one from you I praise the name of Jesus Christ. That makes me glad.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
