Do you have a cat?  Or dog?   I have one cat, Miss Kitty.   She doesn't want a buddy!

It's been my experience animal vocabulary is indicative of emotion.

It is communication and requires intelligence to perform. But it is

basic. Devoid of ambiguity (as human speech is fraught with).

We may be more intelligent but animal speech is far more effective than

human speech.

I've known people whose grunts or sighs spoke volumes. Usually "don't

tick me off" or "don't bother me."

I've known moments of breathless passion with the woman I adore more than life itself.

Speech is as much of a quagmire as it is an advantage.

With our cat and the tone in her voice in the mornings, I'm not sure if I really want to know.  LoL

It would greatly depend on the cat and the size of the owl....cats don't typically "attack" large birds, especially ferals because they'd not be interested in much more than an easier prey.. like all predators they are opportunists and " seek who they CAN devour"( sound familiar) 1Peter 5:8

I think some owls can be quite large.   They might try to catch a small cat or kitten. @LisaLola
