Friends and fellow Christians,

I should have realized (but didn't until it was too late) that you can be persecuted even in America for your faith in Christianity.

I decided to use the Channel 4 WSMV TV message board in Nashville, in hopes of finding other Christians, and to post Christian news bulletins (i.e., Walgreens gift of $100,000 to Gay Games, Target refusing to sponsor Salvation Army). What I got was one or two Christian responses, along with a bunch of agnostics and atheists who pounded me, railed on me, gnashed their teeth, and in general tried to run me off the website. At first, I decided to try and convert them, as we are commanded to do in Acts 1:8. That failed miserably. So, I decided that with several thousand registered users, some had to be Christians. I continue to post on this board, and I have begun to post a daily scripture passage for the Christians that I am sure frequent that site. I still get flack and I still get questioned, attacked, and assaulted, but I continue. I have even been praying that God would perform a work in their lives that they would accept the words I am telling them, and that they would accept His precious gift of salvation.

Any thoughts?

C'mon, did you really expect anything different from the world ???

But do not lose faith in God to minister through your words...do not lose hope in the power of salvation...stand firm on the word of God and perceiver through such persecution...for the do not persecute you, but our Lord Jesus...and He will take vengeance at the last day !!!

Do not give up on the cause...but ignore such persecution and ask the Lord to strengthen you in His power for the ministry...never forget it is not your ministry !!!

Thank you my brother. Some people would question whether it is right for me to continue posting if so many people don't like it. One athiest told me I was 'foisting' my views on others. What he thinks he's doing, I don't know.

Again, thank you for the encouragement.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you matt 5:11,12

Who shall bring a charge against God's Elect? It is God who justifies, who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also Risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. romans 8: 33,34

One athiest told me I was 'foisting' my views on others.

They tend to be like that.

They don't believe in "a god" or "God" or whatever -

but my o my do they hate the mention of Him (yet they won't admit to that!)

It's a bit weird.

*******************

May the Lord grant you peace to persevere through all this.

I think it's a great ministry you are doing.

Min, I went and found the discussion board you referred to.And in my opinion I think you are wasting your time.Unless the people on there are willing to listen to the truth you would only be spending your time in ugly debate.May I suggest you pray and ask God's direction and what He would have you do in regards to that board.Just as in everyday life we need the Spirit's leading in witnessing, so to we need His direction online.

:)

one thing that might have been part of it.......... look at the ProNoun used through out your post. 13 times you yoused the word " I "......... " I decided...... ", " I have......", " I continue....." "I still......"

as far as being persecuted, you are not being persecuted on a message board, they have done nothing to harm you or limit your movement, nor have they limited your "freedom of speach" you say you are still posting, so that would be so... they are exercising their freedom of speach also.... if that message board was set up for the perverted, and you are on it, that would be no different then you being here and this message board being established, and them coming on here......

I am not saying you should not be there..... becareful about the perceived pride thing.....

John 15:18-27 "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, "A slave is not greater than his master." If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. "But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated Me and My Father as well. But they have done this in order that the word may be fulfilled that is written in their Law, "THEY HATED ME WITHOUT CAUSE." When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of Me, and you will bear witness also, because you have been with Me from the beginning."

Hello minister in training, when I read your post, these verses came to my mind and so I thot I would post it. Anyway, I am not sure what knda website you have gone into, so I can't really comment. But I think it's important when we post article to be careful the kinda of language we use in those posts. I mean people who are pre-believers can be very defensive or angry at us trying to "preach" to them. They don't wanna you to tell them what to do. Their antennaes are all up when they read your post, and they can become very aggressive and antagonistic to whatever you are writing. So, you need God's wisdom and discernment as to how to go about doing this. While it is true as the scripture says, "by all means save some..." We also need to involve the Lord in every of our spiritual activity and have HIM pave the way. Always remember, the focus point of Christ is always LOVE and not condemnation. I won't go into details of the scriptures. I believe you probably know alot about the scripture already. Don't take rejection as failure, but whatever you do, remember do it in love. So, take heart and do not give up on sharing the good news to those that needs to hear them. Concentrate on those who are interested to hear, and not those who wants to argue and debate with you. Let the Holy Spirit do the job for you  That's what He is for in our lives, to guide us, counsel, lead us... and more and more... hehe :) YOu can do the sowing and reaping... hehehe... oops.. :x hope I am making sense.. :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
