Mine is the woman at the well. She made an utter mess of her life, but she started a revival in her town by just telling them that Jesus had told her what she had done.

Judas, he knew the value of a shekel. :runforhills:

King David, recognized his sins and was always willing to repent.

An example of following God's command, as recorded in the Bible, brings my own mind onto review and pondering of the account of Phillip being led to mentor one person at a desert area far from the masses that could otherwise be receiving his message his testimony of Jesus.  (Acts 8: 26-41)

I thought about it for a while, and I would have to pick Job.   He suffered all that Satan had to throw at him and stayed true to God.

Not even a question for me but it's Jesus.

My least favorite character is David.

Jesus is the obvious choice for top spot for all! What's your second choice? Which sinner?

I guess Peter would be my second choice. I like his personality.

We once had a guest preacher and his wife said that she had prayed to God for a man like David. I was like: David??? He was a man after God's heart and a great friend for Jonathan, but as a partner? No thanks. Her husband was very kind and he only had her as a wife, but I still wonder what she meant.

As some have said, it's gotta be Jesus as He is the actual "prototype" of the perfect man, and this One has come to live in us to transform us into His very image!

But for those with the sinful flesh, I'm thinking Peter - he was a real knucklehead who proved the love and power of God in his life.
