I was like: David??? He was a man after God's heart and a great friend for Jonathan, but as a partner? No thanks. Her husband was very kind and he only had her as a wife, but I still wonder what she meant.

As some have said, it's gotta be Jesus as He is the actual "prototype" of the perfect man, and this One has come to live in us to transform us into His very image! But for those with the sinful flesh, I'm thinking Peter - he was a real knucklehead who proved the love and power of God in his life.
