" Seems a combination of factors is driving down the volume of international shipping, rather than it increasing. That trend has been in play since at least the past four years. The world wide pandemic with it politics has created a situation that commerce has not recovered from at all. Prices are there are shortages of finished products to ship, raw materials are scare, laborers are in short supply. Internationally isolationism is rampant with tariff polices are all combining to reduce supplies of all sorts while prices increase dramatically.
