Armageddon

There are several references throughout the bible describing the worlds nations being gathered to contend with the Lords people (who will have been previously gathered from the four corners of the earth, following the great tribulation period) to an area commonly referred to as Armageddon. I would like to see how many, if anyone here, knows the reason why the worlds nations will gather themselves together to contend with the Lords people in Armageddon. The bible clearly gives the reason in numerous scriptures,--but one has to acknowledge certain truths together in order to understand the reason why. And I have seen several people here on this forum, and other forums, deny these certain truths.

Put one and one together, and you'll have a logical answer as to why the world will be gathered together at Armageddon to contend with the gathered of the Lord. 

First, you have to be one who believes the Olivet discourse in Luke 21, Mark 13, and Matthew 24, are end time events, and not 1st century events as some claim. Then, you also have to be one who believes the saints will experience the great tribulation, and not one who believes the saints will be whisked away prior to experiencing any great tribulation. As such, we first see some dire environmental issues occurring during these end times, with signs in the heavens, and upon the earth, distress of nations, with men's hearts failing them for fear and being perplexed, due to seeing all the malaise (dire environmental issues), with the seas and waves roaring, that are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven being shaken (Luke 21:25-26). These are the worst of times described in Daniel 12:1, in which the tribulation period of the saints is occurring. These worst of times during the great tribulation period of the saints are also described in the Olivet discourse, where even family members will be turning in their family who believe in truth, to be killed (Mark 13:12). All the while this great tribulation is occurring, the Lord informs us that there will be earthquakes, wars, famines, and troubles occurring (Mark 13:8), such as those in Luke 21:25. As such, we can then surmise that the reason for genocide enacted against the saints (and others, as genocide against certain groups are occurring today), is due to a growing lack of resources to suffice for all. The dire environmental issues described in the Olivet discourse, causing these issues, in which 1/3 of earths environmental resources are destroyed, and genocide kills 1/3 of earths populace is attributed to the love mankind has for the things his hands make (Revelation 9:20). As such, the next truth that needs to be acknowledged (that many here deny), is that as the things mankind makes today are through fossil fuel burning industries; it then is the increasing burning of fossil fuels that is going to bring about the dire environmental issues and genocide appearing in the Olivet discourse and Revelation 8 & 9. As these dire circumstances intensify, the schism created where family members turn in other family members to be killed, will be from those who wish to continue loving the things of this world through which the burning of fossil fuels provides; against those who will reject continuing to love the things their hands make.

After some time, in which the world is divided, with those wishing to continue loving the things their hands produce, that is causing the dire environmental issues and is destroying the earth (Revelation 11:18), against those opposed (the Lords people); the Lord shall then gather his people from the four corners of the earth to the Middle East that will have earlier been desolated by the Abomination of desolation. So we now arrive with these two factions on the earth; with those who continue loving the things their hands produce (and thus continue destroying the earth) comprised of the worlds nations, and the saints who have now rejected their love for the things their hands make, who are now gathered to the desolated lands of the Middle East. Here is where a little logic and Armageddon comes in. As the nations who continue destroying the earth; there comes a time when their resources diminish and will not suffice. At the same time, the Lords people throughout the Middle East, who are no longer espoused to the idols of their hands, who have not been destroying the earth in which they now reside, will have recuperated from its previous desolations, with it now very productive, food wise. The worlds nations without enough to eat seeing plenty in the lands of the Lords people will then gather themselves, and at first see what they can offer in exchange. However, as the Lords people not interested in the things/idols the faithless have to offer; will then have to contend with the faithless.

 Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Revelation 11:18  And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

While I (like almost everyone on earth) am guilty of loving the things/idols produced through fossil fuel burning industries;--what I am not guilty of, however, is denying this truth (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12), so that I may continue indulging in the things our hands make, which are responsible for ever growing environmental damage, along with genocides. I therefore understand the Word on these issues, whereas they who continue hating the truth, remain in the dark. Any idea what the strong delusion will be, that the deniers of truth, will choose to believe? 

 2 Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Can environmentalism  as worship bring a "heaven" or haven to earth? Are these not the times of the signs in more than just the environment, but also inclusive of the actions of nations and peoples in general?

The message is the same today as yesterday, written in the heavens, written in the seasons, written in the affairs of mankind so often batting against the wind.   Be prepared, look up. Maranatha! Rejoice!

Armageddon is about Jesus destroying the ungodly kings of this world and establish His Millenium on earth.

There is no sech thing as a Climate Crises, that is just made up hooey by the media. Why are you looking for the climate to bring these plagues when we now its an Asteroid Impact that starts the Rev. 8 Day of the Lord. Fires shooting down from an Asteroid Breaking apart = Trump#1. The IMPACT (Earthquake) into the Sea is Trump#2. The FALLOUT of Poison (Wormwood) is Trump#3 and finally the fires brings smoke which dims the sun & moons light which is Trump#4. 

Saying that Carbon will change the weather when that is what our plants and trees feed off of just boggle my mind. Its all a ruse

The Matt. 24:4-13 verses are specifically about the Disciples. Verse 14 is the Pre Trib./Pre 70th week rapture. Verses 15-31 is the 70th week which leads to Jesus returning for his 2nd Advent.

The 70th week Saints will be here for the Great Tribulation, those Gentiles who repent and become Martyrs after the rapture, (Satan can not get at the 1/3 Jews who repent) and also the Saints is a known general term for Israel, the 2/3 will be killed because they refused to repent. The Church is not on earth, you not being able to grasp that is not going to change the facts.

Revelation 9:20 attributes the plagues in Revelation chapters 8 & 9 to the things our hands make that we love. Today, the things that we love that our hands make, are primarily produced in fossil fuel burning industries.  We are already seeing confirmation of Gods Word in many areas throughout the world, with crop failures, that are causing mass migrations, wars, and genocides. This denial of the TRUE cause of our deteriorating environment, is due primarily to our love for the world, which are the things/idols of the world, that we should not love (1 John 2:15-16), but we do. Individuals therefore, who continue to deny the TRUTH causing the destruction of the earth, will then be unable to understand the strong delusion that they will accept over the TRUTH, so that they may continue in their love for the things of this world (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
