I read a testimony of a woman who saw hell and she urged people to repent to those that they might have led astray by false teachings...For a moment I considered doing this but then it seems like a huge task...I mean apologizing to everyone I might have led astray? I mean that list would probably be pretty long, i don't know when to begin...Is it not enough to just ask for God's forgiveness and to ask God to lead them on the proper path for me?

I'm pretty sure scripture implies that Hell only has an enter gate.

God knows your heart. If you truly repent, that will suffice. :12:

If I went back and apologised to everyone I'd wronged, or that they had wronged me...., I'd be dead way before I'd finished......!!!!!!!!!!

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

A soldier pierced Jesus with his sword, both blood and water came forth from Him. His precious and holy blood atones; the water from His side cleanses....and our part is confession.

I confess and He pardons and cleanses. I may not "get it right" ....and I may wrestle with my flesh, but He is faithful and JUST to forgive and cleanse.

What He does require of us, in addition to confession is to forgive others. "Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors."

My first question is do you know of anyone you actually led astray?

The use of the word "might" seems broad and vague.

If this bothers you, step one is to askt he Lord's forgiveness over your life for "anyone you might have led astray."

Next step is to pray for those people to be brought back on track.

Then ask the Lord if there are any that you actually need to go back to. There is a place in Scripture for reconciliation between believers. Is there anyone specifically you know that you owe a specific apology to - that is a known offense. Ask the Lord to bring these people to your mind and then ask for the ability to do so (some people you may never see again unless the Lord brings you together somehow).

If there are no specifics that come up, then whenever you feel guilt are fear over this, then just pray for them and ask the Lord to hold them in His hand.

OK?

God may want you to do that with some people you presently have in your life or with whom you have contact. You will have to pray and ask God if he wants you to talk to anyone about this. It may not be for your benefit, but for the benefit of the other person. If you have led someone astray and they followed your lead, then you might want to tell them that you misled them and ask their forgiveness. By doing this, you will have opportunity to tell them the truth.

Two verses come to mind:

Luke 17:1-3a: "Jesus said to his disciples:

yes it is enough to ask God to forgive you of your sins and to ask His guidance in your life. I to have been perplexed with those who say they have had visions of hell and even in some cases say they went there and returned. I don't deny dreams because anybody can have them when they sleep I know I certainly have my share as well as others. The problem I've found with these peoples testimonies and in their books they seem to not match up with the biblical views the bible has given to us on the very topic of hell in which I have personally studied out in great depth even did a teaching series on it entitled "The Truth About Hell" and I personally reject their witness because of these facts. I do believe that the people are well intentioned in their endeavors to scare people into not going there it certainly is a healthy fear for us all to have and the "Fear of the Lord" is the beginning of wisdom (as it states in Proverbs) but for one to testify in direct opposition to God's Word classifies them in my opinion to be a false witness. However, I do not know of the person you speak of I would have to hear them for myself and then decide within my own self based on their witness.

But I just wanted you to know you should always use caution and I also wanted you to know of my own personal experiences regarding these type people however, it doesn't mean there are no true witnesses out there it just means if it isn't scripturally based then it cannot be from the Lord.

God Bless

If theres anyone in arms reach that you feel you may have led astray or sinned against, its a good idea to apologise to them, out of humility and good manners apart from anything else.

God will forgive your sin if you pray to him in repentance. No need to traipse across the world to apologise to some guy you hit with a marshmallow 6 years ago

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
