So, I have been 'saved' three times, but I realized that I didn't mean it any of those times.

The first time I was 'saved,' I was little, so of course, I didn't mean it.
The second time, I didn't mean it either.
The third time, I just said it because I was scared of going to hell. If I tell my parents or any of my family members, they'll get upset with me. I know they will.
I want to be saved and I want to be saved by faith but I feel like if I try again it'll just be the same reason.

(By the way, sorry if this is a bit confusing)

Yeah, that old devil likes to snatch the seed of God's Word away. The best thing you can do is seek God's Kingdom before all else on a daily basis.

Read about Jesus in the garden before he was captured and taken to be crucified...

See how He agonized and sweat blood...

He does know you and your weakness very well; He understands you.

Take comfort in all of that and just choose Him regardless.

It is always a choice and not a feeling.

Declare your choice and He will do the rest...

Blessings.

You don't need some selfless reason to get saved. There were revivals where people got saved because they didn't want to go to hell. Are you sure you were not really saved or is the devil just accusing you? In the church I went to you could pray the sinner's prayer again just to be sure, but in the time that satan accused me a lot and I listened to it, I would pray the sinner's prayer every week. Looking back I believe I was saved already.

That sounds like sincere faith.   If you are sincerely trusting in Christ as your Savior, then accept your salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Does "I didn't mean it" mean you were being internally disingenuous, or that you didn't believe the Gospel when you made your confession, or that you knew it was only 'lip service'?

That is a perfectly rational reason to give your life to Christ. That, of itself, does not invalidate a salvation.

Your salvation is between you and God. It's nobody else's business.

You can be saved right now. Assess your heart - do you believe that Jesus, the perfect Son of God, died to pay the price for your sins, and that God raised Jesus from the dead; demonstrating His ultimate conquest over death? If so, you can sincerely surrender ownership of your life to Christ as a faith response to this Gospel.

"Jesus, thank you for the forgiveness of my sins offered through your death on the cross. I gratefully receive that forgiveness and confess that you are my Lord - as I choose to give all of my life to you - amen".

How do you feel about God, personally?

Have you told Him how you feel?

Other than "circumventing" hell, or "pleasing your parents," what  compels you to want to be saved?

The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Jesus reminded us to fear God, who could destroy body and soul and send us to Hell. I'd say you're off to a good start.

Anyway I personally think that some concepts that exist within Christianity, like faith, can seem kind of mystical and intimidating if you're looking at it from an outsider/semi-outsider's viewpoint or listening to people who make things seem overcomplicated. In reality faith is just belief. James tells us faith without works (actions) is dead. If you can do so much as pray to God and start going out of your way to do the things God would want you to then that's a form of faith. Even if you have to struggle with some things that's okay. Like Philippians 1:6 says ("He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ") we're all works in progress.

The thing to keep in mind is that fear of God is just a beginning. It can take a while and require some personal experience before it really sinks in that God loves us and that as believers we're essentially His children.

Is you post merely a confession, or are you seeking guidance or assurance?

Many caring people have expressed concern and are trying to help... Perhaps you've been privately interacting with someone, which is great, but others who are publicly reaching out may still be concerned about where you are in this matter.

If you can, please let us know how you are doing...

If I may share a testimony of a close friend... She was saved at the young age of four. As as adult, she'd secretly doubted her salvation because she'd been taught by preachers that it should be "different" than her experience. She became so fearful that she asked God to save her... Again. Afterward, she was asked about her prayer... She responded, "I was already saved."

If you love God, He'll know. Your faith need not be strong to gain salvation. Many of us are what He calls "a burning stick pulled from the fire."

Regardless of your mention of insincerities of the past, you expressed the desire to be saved. Your plea is heard.

Hi; do concentrate on the Godward, Biblical aspect of things. Read John chapter 3 in a trusting way.........

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
