Strong's Concordance
A Verb
Definition: to divide, determine

And DIVIDED by the very words of GOD Himself we find them to be.  NO WHERE is it written 'the 7's' are ALL to be/have to be consecutive in time...the 'must be consecutive' requirement seems to only come from traditions and theories of men as far as I have found anyway.  What actually is written doesn't have that requirement, and since the Hebrew word GOD USED is by definition 'TO DIVIDE' and the times are themselves divided by them, then divide would follow as being closer to the truth than consecutive.  Even 'determine' doesn't bring about a demand for it to all be a single period in time.

We also know there was a DIVISION made from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant at the time the Messiah was 'cut off'.  Even a division of TIME itself from BC to AD.  What are the chances it was written AFTER so as to purposely NOT be considered to be the 70th week.  After all, none of the rest of the things took place during that time, had they we wouldn't be living as we are today.

24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people
and upon thy holy city,

to finish

Strong's Concordance
Verb
Definition: to shut up, restrain, withhold

the transgression,
aka breach of trust or rebellion or rebellious or rebellious act or acts

and to make an end of sins,

and to make reconciliation for iniquity,

and to bring in everlasting righteousness,

and to seal up the vision and prophecy,

and to anoint the most Holy.

25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off...

And HE WAS.

It isn't written 'IN' the 70th week the Messiah shall be cut off, it is written 'AFTER' threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off...

It ISN'T WRITTEN 'DURING' the 70th week, it is written 'AFTER' threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off...

that is what we should take as fact.  IF along the way with the 'here a little there a little' other things are written that PROVE it was IN/DURING the 70th week, so be it but to assume what isn't written as a truth of God and to build upon that we are warned against all the time.  The traditions of man make void the words of God

17And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. 18But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, He hath so fulfilled. 19Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began

So, the final 7, the 7-year period of TRIBULATION the 1st place I put forth is book of Daniel

the 2nd place Mt 24 as

Jesus says in Mt 24

3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

referring to Dan 9

26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself:

(That covered above leads us to)

and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;

(and we know the people of the time who didn't believe in GOD, the heathen, did come and destroy the city and the sanctuary... but even that was well past the end of the 70th week more proof that the LAST WEEK or 7 years has not taken place yet)

AS FOR THE END, THE 7 YEARS OF TRIB

and the end thereof shall be with a flood,

and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Here we have to STICK with not ONLY the WHEN that is being spoken of but the WHO we are being told about.

Three ways it is translated KJV, INTERLINEAR AND LEXICON

27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

An he shall confirm a covenant with many for week one but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering and on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate and Even until the consummation and which is determined is poured out on the desolate

And he will  make a firm covenant with the many for one week but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering and on the wing of abominations one who makes desolate even until a complete destruction one that is decreed is poured out on the one who makes desolate

THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK, first 1/2

1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Middle of the week WHEN the CAUSE OF THE SACRIFICE AND OBLATION

(THAT SHOULD BE GOING TO GOD AND THE SAVIOUR) TO CEASE is revealed

3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

AKA the last 3 1/2 years of the 7 year tribulation

6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before.

REV 17

7And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

8The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. 10And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 12And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Hopefully this will get you started.

I asked for “one verse”that says there is a “7 year tribulation”.  You gave me a smoke and mirrors essay. 😂

No smoke and mirrors just Gods words all speaking to the last 7 years before the return of Christ

given IN this manner, apparently smoke and mirrors to some.

3The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

4And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

5In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

6And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

7But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12To whom HE SAID, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little;
that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

You mean exactly in-between? Like in a less than a nano-second?

Rapture oh hey is it mid trib? That's the 144000 from Revelation 14 I suppose.

And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

Satan Thrown Out of Heaven

7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they [a]did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

The Woman Persecuted

13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus [c]Christ.

Here it says it's before the last 3,5 years after a rapture and a war.

The Man-Child:  Revelation 12:5,6 jumps across a prophetic gap: She bore a Man-Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron.   And her Child was caught up to God and His Throne (AD33) ...(GAP of about 2000 years)... Then the Woman fled into the wilderness (at Mid-Tribulation), where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there 1260 days.  Whenever there is a jump like this (over the Church-Age) there is a connecting link.   One link is between the the Woman (Israel) who witnessed the time of Christ (from His birth to ascension- v5), and the Woman (Israel) in the Tribulation who has to flee the antichrist.   There is also another link involving the Man-Child, for the Rapture of the Man-Child is fulfilled by the ascension of Christ (the Head) and by the Rapture of those in Christ (the Body).  Thus the prophecy jumps over the Church-Age from the catching-up of Christ to the catching up of the Church before the Tribulation, so that v6 moves into the events of the Tribulation.   However, this is not the full story, for the prophecy jumps to the Middle of the Tribulation.  This implies another Rapture of believers at Mid-Tribulation, that fulfils the prophecy of the Man-Child.  Now, we have seen that the 2 Witnesses are caught-up to Heaven in a cloud, on the day before the Woman flees.  This cloud could be the 144,000 Jewish male evangelists who are raptured at the same time (who being born male and of Israel make a good fit the picture of the Man-Child).  We will see that Revelation 14:1-5 clearly shows the 144,000 raptured to Heaven at Mid-Tribulation.  (Confusion of these two Raptures is probably what leads some to believe in a Mid-Tribulational Rapture of the Church, but the 144,000 are entirely Jewish - they are a separate body to the Church).  Now if these 144,000 (which are all men) are raptured at Mid-Tribulation as part of the Man-Child, then Revelation 12:5,6 would make perfect sense.  It would jump from Christ and His Rapture to the 144,000 (in Christ) and their Rapture at Mid-Tribulation.  Thus, the connecting link would be the Rapture of the Man-Child, which began with Christ and will be completed with the 144,000.  Thus in v5, the prophecy jumps over about 2000 years to Mid-Tribulation (v6) and continues to talk about events then.

I have looked at this as there was only one place that existed - it was where God resides. Because He had yet to create everything outside of His presence, the angels were created before this.  They were created in heaven to serve Him.

God decided to create a space and time outside of His presence. And this is what we see - the physical universe and of course the earth and mankind.

It is only after God created man and the “outside” of His presence would there be anything for satan to be concerned or jealous about. He was the top angel (although God knew what was in his heart prior to Him creating the world).

As a spirit, God is everywhere all through time at the same time, and there is nowhere God is not at any moment of time throughout all eternity. He is everywhere, all the time, all through time, at the same time. All that exists, exists within His very being, for He it is that holds all things together. God is Omnipresence and Omnipotent.

Acts 17:28 - For in Him we live and move and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, “For we are also His offspring.”

Psm 139:7 - Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your presence?

Isa 57:15 - For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, “I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

Jer 23:24 – “Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him?” says the LORD. “Do I not fill the heavens and earth?” says the LORD.

Also, there are bodies terrestrial, and bodies celestial, right?

1 Cor. 15:40 - There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

Therefore, when God created the heavens with all its manifested glory, He made for the revelation of His supremacy a throne room in heaven, and being an invisible spirit without definable form, God in His wisdom manifested Himself in the heavens via a finite form discernable in time and space. Thus, He “was there” in time and space, before the angels, and thereby He had established His preeminence in all things.

That celestial form, just like Jesus's terrestrial form, was indeed every bit God, an effective focal point for the finite angels to behold and begin to comprehend His majesty. BUT, neither of those forms were the entirety of the infinite invisible God. They were merely a means to know Him, a brightness of His glory, and expressed images of Him. For if Heaven and earth cannot contain Him, how can a body having dimensions and form contain Him?

Do the scriptures say it that plainly? No. But it is all there in scripture, each part, and each part is truth.

Isa 28:9 - Whom shall He teach knowledge? and to whom shall He make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breasts.  10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.

From this, God’s manifestation in a finite form on a tangible throne in heaven, is why, when, and where, I believe the fall of Lucifer came to past. For he was "perfect” in his ways from the day that he was created, “till iniquity was found” in him. This springing up of iniquity is the very cause of “the devil’s beginning.”

See, Lucifer had “sealed the measure, [was] full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.” Yet that literally became a reason for his fall, for God told him “Your heart is lifted up because of your beauty, and you have spoiled your wisdom because of your brightness.”

Now why would that be? First of all, he dismissed the preeminence of God on the throne, and most likely assumed what he saw on the throne was all there was of God, and in doing so he compared his beauty and brightness to that of God’s. And being puffed up, and thus feeling worthy himself of adoration and praise, said “I will go up to the heavens, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. I will go up above the heights of the clouds and I too will be like the Most High.”

To which God condemned him, “The multitude of your goods they have filled your midst with violence, and you have sinned. So, I will cast you as profaned from the height of God, and I destroy you, O covering cherub, from among the stones of fire… You shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the Pit,” (Ezek 28, Isa 14 passages).

In those passages we can see how both the king of Tyrus, and the king of Babylon, both displayed those attributes which originated in Satan, the ultimate chief of all sinners. For as it had transpired with Satan, they too had allowed their positions and wealth to seduce them into believing a lie, and therefore went beyond what was lawful in God’s eyes in respect to their given dominion and authority. For it was God who had given those positions of honor to them, for in reality they were nothing, their positions and power being only what God had permitted for His purpose. Therefore, their postures should have been full of humility and gratitude, instead of being lifted up with pride and thereby falling into the same condemnation of the devil. It was the deceitfulness of sin that ensnared them as it did with Satan.

In all this we see the devious motive and progression of sin - SELF-esteem. For it caused Satan to view himself as superior to the rest of God’s angelic beings, stirring up in his heart a lust and ambition to place himself above them as he proclaimed his ultimate ambition, “I will exalt my throne above the stars of God,” the stars being figurative of God’s angels, as in the verse below.

Revelation 12:4 – And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman, which was ready to be delivered, to devour her child as soon as it was born.

However, a self-absorbed egotistical heart can never be content with just the rising above peers, and therefore the devil also said, “I will be like the Most High.” For having been mesmerized by his own beauty, Satan had become a lover of self, believing he too was entitled to the same admiration, praise, and worship as God, the very Creator of his beauty. But God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, is worthy of all the glory “inasmuch as he who has built the house has more honor than the house.”

Now, it is noteworthy that God said, “So I cast you profaned from the height of God, and I destroy you, O covering cherub, from among the stones of fire,” and “you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”

But, while the judgment was made, the sentence of being cast out, I believe, didn’t occur until after God was manifested in the flesh, and both justified and seen of angels upon the cross. Yet, we know from Revelation when he will be ultimately be cast into the pit….

If God wrote it that way no spiritual discernment would be necessary.  Which is  why I believe God didn't just write it in a simple and straight forward story you read once and are told everything.  It's a journey...

Well, You are getting just what you were expecting...Doesn't the Lord just work in mysterious ways

7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

 2212. zéteó ►
Strong's Concordance
zéteó: to seek
Original Word: ζητέω

Transliteration: zéteó
Phonetic Spelling: (dzay-teh'-o)

Usage: I seek, search for, desire, require, demand.
HELPS Word-studies
2212 zētéō – properly, to seek by inquiring; to investigate to reach a binding (terminal) resolution; to search, "getting to the bottom of a matter."

The Lord's Approved Workman

14Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17And their word will eat as doth a canker:

4704. spoudazó ►
Strong's Concordance
spoudazó: to make haste, hence to give diligence
Original Word: σπουδάζω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: spoudazó
Phonetic Spelling: (spoo-dad'-zo)
Definition: to make haste, to give diligence
Usage: I hasten, am eager, am zealous.
HELPS Word-studies
Cognate: 4704 spoudázō – properly, be swift (go fast, be speedy); (figuratively) to move speedily by showing full diligence (fully applying oneself); acting fervently (speedy commitment) to accomplish all that God assigns through faith ("His inbirthed persuasion"). Accordingly, 4704 (spoudázō) and faith (4102 /pístis) are directly linked (see Eph 4:3-5; 2 Tim 4:7-9). See 4710 (spoudē).

And with that, I take my leave

And I love the verses that mention "mystery" because, least we get too puffed up thinking we have the answers, that word puts things in the proper framework, doesn't it.  And by His Spirit He does reveal a little bit of these things to us, but to ones existing in this temporal plane, they are still murky at best . . .

Yes, but the vail has been torn via Jesus Christ.

Mr 4:11 - And He said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God...

Rom 16:25 - Now to Him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.

Eph 3:9 - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

Col 1:26 - Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints.

God still is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him...

Of course all of the Scripture is God inspired and spoken through man. However, my point was that there is a difference when God speaks directly and is captured by one of His prophets, say Moses, or where in the Gospels one of His disciples is capturing His exact words..... verses the words that have been written down in much of the OT and NT BY the prophets.

Yes, and one day, hopefully not far off, we will experience that.

13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little;
that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

One verse or passage with the 7 years and tribulation is what he is looking for.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
