If more Churches obeyed Gods instructions on, how He wants to be served and worshiped, I would visit them as well and have fellowship with them. But the sad reality is the vast majority are focused on serving themselves and their personal agendas.

Some of the Churches I visited when I was Church shopping, were more like a rock concert that a Church service. I used to come home with my ears ringing from the loud distorted cheap and amateur rock band. I wounder if God would accept that kind of self indulgent worship, I couldn't stand it so I assume God would be there either.

Some of my friends attend Churches which are man centered, they accuse me of being judgmental when I say I don't believe they are pleasing to the Lord. Our Pastor regularly reminds us our services that we are here to worship and it's all about Him and for Him.

I saw a video from an American pentecostal pastor. He said that even pentecostal pastors in that city were in Freemasonry and wore their ring. I posted that on a small forum and a guy got mad. Turned out he was a mason too.

PS: Pressed the wrong key; I of course meant Matthew 28 for the Great Commission.

@RdJ Some really, really strict churches object to rings altogether. I guess it really depends on what the ring may signify, rather than the mere existence of a ring.

This is why I reject the notion that the founding fathers were led by the Spirit. Only 9 of the 56 signatories of the declaration were verified freemasons, but some of the most influential.

Of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence, nine were Freemasons with verifiable records of association. Among them were:

  1. William Ellery from Rhode Island, who attended St. John’s Lodge of Boston in 17481.

These Masonic connections highlight the influence of Freemasonry during the founding of the United States. 🇺🇸🔍

He didn't mean a normal ring, but the masonic ring as a sign that they're a freemason. No wonder all the craziness came in the charismatic church.

What we have after the Apostles is Demons performing miracles of healing in order to destroy the persons soul in hell. What does it profit to gain health and wealth, only to lose your soul.

The Devil performs signs and wonders, to get you away from the Gospel and to trust in the miracles He performs. The Devil is all about deception, He copies everything God does but with the intent to take your soul.

That exists too yes and you have to really watch out with that. In the 90s a guy with a demon kick out ministry came to Holland and a lot of evangelical leaders were naive and had no clue. You just assume it's also from God. Well it wasn't. My ex went there. I wanted to join, but he wouldn't let me. Luckily. It was insane. They supposedly cut off the arms and legs of demons and other totally crazy stuff. There were some leaders who warned against it. People fell from their faith afterwards. My ex had to be set free from a demon because he went there. There was a gigantic car crash nearby. He thought because they were summoning demons. So the reformed church is safe. You won't ever get that kind of craziness, but they also miss out on good stuff.

And that "folks" is why there are so many denominations; the human judgements of individuals about other individuals.

Ok, I asked a question earlier as to explain the above. You did reply, but I did not quite get the points you made, as it was mainly of  scripture.

So I will ask it in this manner.   Why do you think that your local church is the correct way of worship and other churches that plays music ect, is not pleasing to God.

Do you have healing and miracles at your church ?. These are just question I truly want to gain an understanding of as I am understanding that your church executes the biblical model.  Do the women remain silent in the Church service to ?.

I believe that my Church is correct because it is based on the Apostolic Church model. We tick every box, on Gods list of requirements to validate a local Church as being Biblically correct and pleasing to God.

Our approach to the life of the Church is all about obedience and service to God. Our aim is not to entertain our members and visitors with seeker friendly messages and entertainment.

There are more than enough scriptures in the Bible which give us clear instruction on what constitutes a Biblically correct Church. If a Church doesn't meet Gods requirements, then God doesn't bless that Church and it is dead.

We believe that the Old and New Testament is the inspired and infallible Word of God, and the only authoritative rule for faith and practice.

• 2 Tim 3:15-17; Rom 15:4; 2 Peter 1:19-21.

We believe that the God of the Scriptures is the only true and living God. He is one God who co-exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• Exodus 20:1-5; 1 Cor 8:4-6; 1 John 5:7-8; Matt 28:19.

We believe that in six days God created all things which exist and on the seventh He rested.
• Gen 1-2:2; Exodus 31:14.

We believe that God is sovereign in all things. In His infinite wisdom and power He directs the affairs of humanity.
• Ps 110:3; Prov 21:1; Is 45:7; Amos 3:6.

We believe that God created Adam and Eve without sin. He permitted sin to enter the world through a voluntary act of their disobedience.
• Gen 2:16,17; Rom 5:12.

We believe that God in eternity, before creation, determined to save His chosen people, to deliver them from the power and penalty of sin.
• Matt 25:34; Eph 1:4; Rom 8:29,30.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the mediator of God’s covenant. Being both fully God and fully man He was able to secure the redemption of God’s elect by dying on their behalf.
• Eph 1:22,23; 1 Tim 2:5,6; Heb 2:16-18; 4:14-16; 9:14,15.

We believe that the Church is made up of those who have exercised faith in Jesus Christ and repentance toward God.
• Acts 2:38; Acts 8:37; Acts 20:21.

We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the only two ordinances given by Christ to His Church.
• 1 Cor 11:23-31; Acts 20:7; Acts 2:41; Acts 16:31-34.

We believe that the mandate of the Church is to make disciples of all nations.
• Matt 28:19,20; 1 Cor 1:18-25; Col 1:28; 2 Tim 4:2.

We believe that God has appointed two offices in the Church, namely elders and deacons.
• Acts 6:1-7; 1 Tim 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9.

We believe it is God’s will for Christians to assemble together in local congregations on the Lord’s Day (Sunday), to worship Him and encourage one another according to the Scriptural pattern.
• Is 58:13; Ecc 5:1,2; Acts 2:42; 20:7; Heb 10:24,25.

We believe that as the people of God we have a responsibility to show benevolence to all men, but especially to assist other Churches committed to the same Scriptural truths and principles.
• Acts 11:19-24; Gal 6:10; Phil 4:10,14.

We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ at which time He will judge the nations. The redeemed will be with Him forever in the new heavens and the new earth, the ungodly cast into hell for eternity.

• Matt 25:31-46; Acts 1:11; 1Thes 4:18; 2 Peter 3:1-13

Ceasationists make that claim, but the truth is that while God has been speaking to individuals for 2000 years, not all have an ear to listen.

In 1981 the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me and spoke, and I continue to hear Him.

I don't find anything in the Bible to support the notion that Jesus would appear and speak to anyone, after His ascension to heaven. I do find warnings about such claims, which say beware of spirits who claim to be from God.

Jesus said He was ascending back to heaven and He left us His comforter. He never gave any indication that He would make personal visits to anyone. So I personally can't accept you claim, that Jesus appeared to you and spoke to you.

I believe your encounter may have been with the Holy Spirit and not Jesus Himself.

I am "safe" in any environment on earth.

Why I was even safe the night I walked into the pitch black night in the back alleyways of Nassau and was grabbed, picked up off the ground by the biggest bear hugging human I ever met. Who then snatched me through a doorway, sat me down on a tiny metal folding chair, and handed me a hymnal book in Creole.

Never sang  in Creole before, but did that night. I think it was "Amazing Grace".

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
