There is a difficulty with this in the intellect of men. It is called "duality" in theological terms. It means that God can run and/or manage two distinct natures or plans at the same time without violating either.

The "holy thing" that came from Mary was a Man. Joseph was instructed to call Mary's baby, "Jesus": Whenever Jesus is mentioned it means the Man. "Christ" is His duty, or OFFICE. It is the Greek f0r Messiah. On the cross, the MAN Jesus died. God did not, and CANNOT die.

In Genesis 1:26-28 God tied His purpose with the earth to mankind. Psalm 8 and Hebrews 2 show that God has never given up His plan. If He did - Satan would be the winner (perish the thought). The Bible ends with a city made of MEN on a "Renewed Earth". If you study it carefully you will see that New Jerusalem is just a consummated Eden. Both had; God, Man, a Tree, Rivers, Gold, Pearl (Bdellium is a pearl from a tree), Precious stones. Inside are men who are authorized. The gates are men. The Walls are men. God's holiness is upheld and the profane are without.**

** The elements for building the Church in 1st Corinthians 3 are the same - with slight changes made because of Christ's finished work. Bdellium must be changed from plant life to animal life after sin came in. Silver is the redemptive work of Christ. After all men are resurrected and free from the Adamic nature (1st Cor.15:22-26), silver is not needed. The wounding of the Lamb is commemorated by the pearl - a life sap deposited over a wound in the oyster. The Lake of Fire is visible (Isa.66:24). It is an everlasting Monument to God's justice.

The problem is in the saying “fully man”.  Jesus did not have “the carnal sin nature of man,”therefore He is not “fully” a man in every way.

The belief that Jesus didn't cease to exist during the three days between His death and resurrection is crucial. While Jesus' physical body lay in the tomb, His spirit continued to exist and was actively engaged in the spiritual realm. This period is understood as Jesus descending into the realm of the dead, often referred to as Hades or Sheol, where He proclaimed victory over sin and death to the spirits held there. This descent, known as the Harrowing of Hell, is understood as Jesus' triumphal proclamation to those who had died before His coming — offering them the opportunity to respond in faith to His message of salvation.

During these three days, Jesus fulfilled the prophetic promise to "preach to the spirits in prison" (1 Peter 3:19), demonstrating His sovereignty over both the living and the dead. His descent into Hades is seen as a crucial aspect of His redemptive work, ensuring that salvation is available to allpast, present, and future — who repent and believe in Him.

In this view, Jesus' divine nature ensured His continuity of existence even in death, affirming that God, in His eternal essence, cannot cease to exist. This understanding aligns with the belief that Jesus, as fully God, transcends physical limitations and continues His divine work beyond earthly realms. Thus, while His physical body experienced death, His divine nature remained active, fulfilling the prophetic promise to preach to the spirits in prison (1 Peter 3:19).

This theological perspective emphasizes the unity of Jesus' divine and human natures, highlighting His ability to bridge the gap between humanity and God through His redemptive work. It underscores the profound implications of Jesus' death and resurrection, affirming His authority over all realms and His role as the Savior who offers salvation to all who believe in Him.

I beg to differ with your explanation about Jesus preaching to the spirits in prison as redemption work. The spirits were those that was disobedient in the days of Noah. No redemption for the demons or Satan

Before Christ’s resurrection, the souls of the dead went to a place known as Sheol (in Hebrew) or Hades (in Greek), which had distinct areas for the righteous and the wicked. The righteous, such as Abraham, Moses, and David, who had faith in God’s promises, went to a place of comfort often referred to as Abraham's bosom or paradise, while the wicked went to a place of torment within Hades, awaiting final judgment. Christ’s resurrection profoundly changed this dynamic. Scriptures like Ephesians 4:8-10 and 1 Peter 3:18-20 suggest that after His crucifixion, Christ descended into Hades, proclaimed victory over the powers of darkness, and liberated the righteous souls. This act is seen as Christ "leading captivity captive," and He is described as the "first begotten of the dead" (Revelation 1:5), signifying His preeminence and the first to rise from the dead in a glorified body. After His resurrection and ascension, the righteous now go directly to be with the Lord in Heaven, as indicated by Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:8, which states that to be "absent from the body" is to be "present with the Lord." Meanwhile, the souls of the wicked remain in torment, still awaiting final judgment, as described in Revelation 20:13-15. This transition underscores Christ's victory over death and the grave, offering believers the hope of immediate presence with the Lord after death.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
