The timelines of the parenthetical prophecies are related to the overall timelines, but how and where do they fit into history past, present and future?

I would maintain that the separation of individual prophecies within the Revelation must fit into the overall timeline.

For example, the Rev 12 timeline of the woman, must match with other timelines as well. It seems to many to be a individual timeline, parenthetical, if it is, how does it fit into the other timelines, such as the seal and trumpets, or the Dan 7 timeline?

Another example would be the Rev 13 timeline. How does it fit into the Rev 12 timeline of the woman? Or the seals/trumpets?

My solution would be to match the timelines with history, the present times, or the future.

How does the Rev 13 timeline match with Dan 7? How does the Rev 14 timeline match with Rev 17?

Matching these up in parallel explains more details of the events shown in them.

Finding the common anchors in each one will show the relation to each other.

All must match without contradiction. Dan 2 must match with Dan 7. Dan 7 must match with the Rev 12 woman and Rev 13.

Can we do it?

Interpreting the timelines and prophecies in the book of Revelation, as well as other prophetic books like Daniel, involves careful consideration of their historical context, present implications, and future fulfillment. The book of Revelation contains various visions and prophecies that unfold sequentially, revealing both overarching themes and specific details. Each prophecy, whether parenthetical like the timelines in Revelation 12 or sequential like the seals and trumpets, contributes to the overall narrative of God's plan for humanity.

When considering how these timelines fit together, it's crucial to identify common themes and anchors across different prophecies. For example, the Rev 12 timeline of the woman can be seen as a symbolic representation of the persecution and protection of God's people throughout history, aligning with themes of spiritual warfare and divine preservation seen in other parts of Revelation and in the broader biblical narrative.

Similarly, the Rev 13 timeline, which describes the rise of a powerful and oppressive entity, can be viewed in parallel with Daniel's visions, such as those in Daniel 7, which also depict powerful earthly kingdoms and their impact on God's people. Finding these common threads helps to establish continuity and coherence across the prophetic timelines without contradiction, emphasizing their unified message about God's sovereignty, justice, and ultimate triumph over evil.

In aligning these timelines with historical events, current trends, and future expectations, seek to highlight the relevance of biblical prophecy to contemporary times while maintaining a reverence for the prophetic visions as divine revelations that unfold according to God's sovereign plan. This approach encourages believers to remain vigilant, prayerful, and spiritually prepared for the fulfillment of these prophecies, trusting in God's guidance and providence throughout history and into the future.

The time of the restoration of Israel to Jerusalem was 1900 years ish and not 3 1/2 years, as history shows. 70 AD - 1967.

This is proven by the woman of Rev 12 who flees into the wilderness after the birth and ascension of Jesus, it wasn't 3 1/2 years or 1260 days, it was 1900 years ish.

The time of the treading of Jerusalem underfoot of the gentiles in Rev 11 is also about 1900 years as history shows.

The times of the gentiles is not future, but happens after the 70 AD destruction of Jerusalem just as Jesus said that it would in Lk 21:24.

The AoD was Titus in the temple sacrificing just before the last part of Jerusalem fell to the Romans.

The Antichrist is Caesar and the Bishop of Rome who claims to be the head of the church/kingdom of Israel.

Is the 4th beast nation of Dan 7, the beast of Rev 13?

Is the 4th beast nation of Dan 7, the beast of Rev 13?

In Daniel 7, the fourth beast represents a powerful and terrifying kingdom that rises to prominence in the prophetic vision. This beast is described as different from the previous three, with iron teeth and ten horns, symbolizing strength and authority (Daniel 7:7-8). The interpretation of this fourth beast is often associated with various historical kingdoms, traditionally identified as the Roman Empire due to its historical context and subsequent influence on the region during the time of Daniel's prophecy.

Revelation 13 introduces a beast rising from the sea, which has similarities to the fourth beast in Daniel 7. This beast from the sea is described as having ten horns and seven heads, with blasphemous names on its heads (Revelation 13:1). It is granted authority by the dragon (interpreted as Satan or symbolic of evil forces) and exercises great power over the earth. This imagery aligns with the characteristics of the fourth beast in Daniel 7, suggesting a continuity or extension of the same oppressive and influential power.

From a prophetic perspective, many interpreters associate the fourth beast of Daniel 7 with the beast of Revelation 13, seeing them as representations of the same or a related sequence of powerful kingdoms or rulerships throughout history. The linkage between these visions underscores the thematic continuity of oppressive and antagonistic forces against God's people and His divine purposes throughout time. This interpretation helps to contextualize and understand the unfolding narrative of apocalyptic prophecy concerning the rise and fall of earthly powers in opposition to God's sovereignty and His ultimate triumph.

If the 4th beast of Dan 7 is the Roman nation, and the beast of Rev 13 is the Roman nation,

then is the beast that the unfaithful woman rides in Rev 17, also the Roman nation? Yes/No?

If yes, can we combine the attributes of each entity into a description of that Roman nation? That is, are they all describing the same beast nation? What happens when we combine all the attributes? What happens when we try to date the attributes in history?

The identification of the fourth beast in Daniel 7, the beast in Revelation 13, and the beast ridden by the unfaithful woman in Revelation 17 as the Roman nation is a common interpretation. This view suggests that these passages symbolize the Roman Empire's pervasive influence and opposition to God's people.

Combining the attributes of these entities into a description of the Roman nation reveals a composite image of a powerful, oppressive force characterized by political, religious, and economic dominance. The fourth beast in Daniel 7 is described as dreadful, terrible, and exceedingly strong, with iron teeth and ten horns, symbolizing the destructive power and far-reaching control of the Roman Empire. Revelation 13's beast also has ten horns and seven heads, with blasphemous names, signifying its blasphemous and persecutory nature against the saints. Revelation 17 adds the imagery of the unfaithful woman, often interpreted as representing a corrupt religious system, riding the beast, indicating a collaboration between political and religious corruption.

When we try to date these attributes in history, the Roman Empire’s timeline fits well with these descriptions, especially during its peak and subsequent periods of influence. The Roman Empire, known for its persecution of Christians and its blend of political and religious power, aligns with the prophetic descriptions in these books. These prophecies as not only historical but also potentially applicable to future events, symbolizing any system or empire that opposes God and His people.

By examining these attributes across history, it reinforces the interpretation that the beast represents a continuum of oppressive powers epitomized by Rome but also applicable to future oppressive regimes. This understanding underscores the vigilance required of believers to recognize and resist any system that embodies these attributes, remaining faithful to God amidst persecution and corruption.

While historical interpretations often identify the beast with the Roman Empire, identifying the beast in contemporary terms can be more complex. The characteristics of the beast—such as political and religious oppression, blasphemy against God, and persecution of the faithful—can manifest in various forms throughout history and into the present.

The Bible provides symbolic and prophetic imagery that believers are encouraged to study and discern. The Church teaches that the ultimate fulfillment of these prophecies may not be fully understood until the end times unfold. Therefore, while certain historical and contemporary powers may exhibit beast-like attributes, a definitive identification of the beast as a specific current entity or nation remains speculative.

Believers are encouraged to stay vigilant, maintain a strong relationship with God, and remain grounded in biblical teachings to navigate the challenges posed by any oppressive systems that arise. The focus is on spiritual readiness and faithfulness to God's word rather than pinpointing a precise current identity for the beast.

Quote:

The parenthetical passages are: The Jewish remnant and the tribulation saints, Revelation 7:1-17. The angel, the little book, the two witnesses, Revelation 10:1-14. The Lamb, the Remnant, and the everlasting Gospel, Revelation 14:1-13. The gathering of the kings at Armageddon, Revelation 16:13-16. The four alleluias in heaven, Revelation 19:1-6. These passages do not advance the prophetic narrative. Looking backward and forward they sum up results accomplished, and speak of results yet to come as if they had already come. In Revelation 14:1, for example, the Lamb and Remnant are seen prophetically on Mount Sion, though they are not actually there till Revelation 20:4-6. Wow, this could be a long and tedious discussion with explanations. It would begin with Nimrod, and Nebuchadnezzar, with types and shadows and the beginning that has passed down for millennia.

It would include the two legs of Rome, the eastern (four generals under Alexander), and the western leg, the eastern, outlasting the western by a millennium. How Rome has not disappeared, the church-state marriage confederation in the fourth century under Constantine, and the ROMAN Catholic Church.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
