You should all vote on how to govern yourselves.

Hmm isn't that what the nation Israel pleaded with God for, a ruler, instead of being directly under God's rule? And didn't God honor that request? All leading to eras of various horror for that people?

All people, individually and corporately should (but won't) be on their knees praying  for God's very direct guidance  through the Holy Spirit in all that they will do, doing all to the glory of God.

Given that the USA has a republic form of governance each  person should exercise their voting "rights", yet take their guidance after prayer thinking reading upon the word of God and praying some more.

I wonder how many  voters,  even Christians, do so? And how many only think to ask  God  to bless that vote after the fact.

Jesus stirred up controversy

My Lord Jesus was totally obedient,  obeying His Father's will, what the scriptures instructed, as well as to all authorities, "religious" and "secular". He instructed us to be so as well even on to today.

Hi,

Should be, Jesus is the authority.

Most of us in my world think Jesus gave us the Constitution in spite a few of the people responsible for writing it.

He gave the law to Israel to live by, and the constitution to us.

Hi, Would you tend to agree that all government is of God?

Islam is not.   Nor is all of our government.  What was given to us in the beginning has been changed by the dark side to promote Lucifer/Satan.   Even from the beginning, the layout of Washington DC and the architecture of the buildings is Roman paganism.   I don't consider the free will of some of our founding fathers to be of God, except he gives us the authority to do so.  Doesn't really represent what his will is for us in the long run.  It did give the Christian citizens the freedom to make the USA a great country, but it takes Christian communities to keep it that way.

"Romans 13

New King James Version

Submit to Government

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.  Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.  For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.  For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.  Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.  For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing.  Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor."

Where was Paul at the time he was inspired by God to write the above portion of his epistle to the church at Rome? What was his personal circumstance? Who was the governing authority  over him at the time?

While there are several camps of understanding. It seems clear to me that the antichrist is a person, a flesh and blood human, of a type that there are many of  declared to be little antichrists among us even now.

There are several camps, but only one True camp.  There are several schools of education, but there is NO Higher education than being taught from above by the Head, which is Christ.

Our battle is not against “flesh and blood men”, but spiritual wickedness. That is also why the weapons of our warfare are not carnal weapons.

For we wrestle not against “flesh and blood,” but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

and our authority is the constitution of the USA.  We have people in our own government who are not following this command.  It is fundamentally us that elect these people, so we should not blame God for our shortcomings.  He gave us the free will to do so, but it isn't necessarily what he would have us do.  We pray for his will to be done here on earth as it is in Heaven, but he does not demand it at the present time.

His commands are not demands? Oh I think they are! Violating them results eventually in a turning over to one's own strong delusion. I do not see where God has said or had  any human write under His inspiration exceptions to what He had Paul write to  the church at Rome while they were under  a most horrendous ruler.

God does, it seems to me and is declared as well in the Bible, use even that which is intended by many as evil  to instead to do good for those that believe on Jesus as their Lord, God and personal savior.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
