Watch  and listen to his own words uttered by him in his first rally after the convention.  Enough said.

ps- This thread probably should be in US Politics, eh?

My confident hope is in Christ Jesus. I exercise my privilege under God's mercy and grace that has me placed in the USA, and to vote on issues and rulers; but my hope is in Jesus alone.

At the Grand Rapids Michigan rally Trump  said: "They keep saying he's a threat to democracy. I'm saying, ‘’What the hell did I do to democracy?' Last week I took a bullet for democracy," Trump said as the crowd cheered, referencing an often used Democrat talking point. "What did I do against democracy? Crazy." That to me is the same mindset and a typical bloviation by The Donald.

I don't recall Trump jumping in front of anyone to save them do you? Several Secret Service agents did indeed  step in to take a bullet if necessary  "for  the REPUBLIC of the USA. " And of course ever so sadly  one real hero died jumping in front of bullets to save his family.

BTW -Democracy" is an enemy that imposes tyranny of the majority upon the minorities.

Like or hate Trump, we are voting for the issues that concern us the most, as well as the direction, morals, values, freedom of our country, and government tyranny and intrusion. Some claim it is voting between the lesser of two evils. If that is the case, do we want more or less evil? We are not voting for a clergyman but someone who will defend our nation from foreign and domestic enemies. God willing.

Hi, I have to respond with the question for myself, "What do I have to do with belial?"

Choosing from the candidates of the duopoly is like  trying to respond to the old Psychology 1 class question,- if you had to kill one of your parents which one would you choose to kill?

The obvious answer is  for one to refuse to entertain even considering the proposition at all! Same with the choices presented by the duopoly, I cannot consider choosing between  either, it is an absurd  exercise for me to do so.

I see it this way: Haman’s Conspiracy Against the Jews, NKJV

Ester 3 "After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him.  And all the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate bowed and paid homage to Haman, for so the king had commanded concerning him. But Mordecai would not bow or pay homage.  Then the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate said to Mordecai, “Why do you transgress the king’s command?”  Now it happened, when they spoke to him daily and he would not listen to them, that they told it to Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s words would stand; for Mordecai had told them that he was a Jew.  When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath.  But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus—the people of Mordecai."

The duopoly that is the Republican and Democrat political power group will in one manner, or another figuratively, functionally, and maybe even literally,  try to kill us all that do not bow down to them.

I have heard that argument before. My response is that I have had more excellent advice and care from my own  pastors and elders than any politician. They all ( Pastors and Elders) have  defended me from the greatest of my enemies ( Satan and the many little antiChrists among us even now).

Ha! I wouldn't dare think of such a thing as beating my wife, she is Texas Strong! Why even to gather her in win her approval, I had to watch  the movie the Alamo and tour it at San Antonio too.

Then pass the quiz on it all.

And the Trumpites will say,  hey  put a little more sugar in your Koolaid like we are doing,  and drink up. Praise to the appointed  and annointed and consecrated one, the Donald!

Yeah sure.

Evidently you are forgetting that we are not voting for 'pastor', we are voting for an administration who may give us an conservative alternative to the radical leftist ideology that we have been forced to put up with these last 4ish years.

I will vote for Trump because he is the only option we have to get an semi conservative federal government administration that is doing all the damage to this country.

Certainly there are Trumpster's who idealize him as some kind of darling, but I and many others are of that camp. I look more with practical realities of the situation the USA is in rather than this personality loving/hating nonsense.

IF you want to tell me and other Trump supporters we drinking Kool-Aid, well that is your right to do so, and thats okay.

But the comment 'Snake snake snake' is a little disappointing coming from an Worthy moderator. Please reconsider your viewpoints that focus on flawed personalities instead of conservative policies.

Respectfully  . . . Ray . . .

Do you think that is right to say?

After the assassination attempt, Trump looked different and his tone was different.   Many people are mentioning that.   I think he was touched by God in that moment when his life could have ended.    He acknowledged God's divine protection.

So if God has saved Trump, who are we to condemn him?

Let me make sure I understand you, Debp.  You are a  very nice person and I appreciate many of your posts.

Are you saying that God spared his life and therefore we cannot question anything he says or does?

Hi Ray, a snake is a snake, a man that says it is okay to ignore even the USA constitution to put him in power  is not a hero to me, but instead a snake. A man that turns on his own Vice President is not a hero to me, he is a snake.

Christians are warned about those in our midst that are wolves in sheep's clothing. I find Trump not to be one, not a wolf, but a snake. I can and do pray for Him, and well as pray for President Biden, and pray for leaders and rulers as all are appointed  by God.

I do not put down pastors as being some irrelevant voice to speak only at times of worship and then be put away on a shelf until next worship time. My own pastors have over the many years  prayed in my behalf to my creator for my well being, and have taught me well  not only at worship meetings, but daily in all that they do. I do hold them up as having much higher responsibility than any politician or ruler, for they care about and for my eternal soul. No politician that I have known of has ever done that.

ps -  Of the individuals available for me to choose between  as President of the USA I am choosing Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. You may see why online at Kennedy 2024  where there are several videos explaining his own position on many subjects.

I hear this a LOT.  "We are not voting for a pastor."  One lady told me, "We are not voting for a dentist."

What that says to me is that because we are not looking for a preacher that the person we want to be in the White House can be a scoundrel, a liar, a sexual deviant, or anything he wants to be - just as long as he is Republican.

That makes no sense to me.

I, relunctantly, will be voting for Trump.  But it going to take a large chunk out of my soul.

You see, my belief is that America has been under the judgment of God since 1992 -  Bill Clinton.  We are an evil and wicked people.  The abortion, the trafficking, the lying, the trillions of dollars in debt, the billion dollar porn industry, the crazy and skyrocketing divorce and adultery rate, the churches falling apart, and Christians who participate in all of these things.

We are getting what we deserve.  We DESERVE Donald Trump.  And not in a good way.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
