On the one hand, we desire our government leaders to have a Christian worldview and take seriously the gospel message.  On the other hand, this is not our home; our home is with the Lord, and one day our temporal bodies are going to pass away and eventually decay.

I think of all the people that lived in the time before the flood. Men of faith back then, in the face of man whose mind was devising evil continually, called upon the name of the Lord, just like we do today.  And let us continue to do so.

And then there are all the Christians, from the 1st century to today, that have been slaughtered,  raped, butchered, burned alive, children dashed against the rocks, men and women beheaded and dismembered, etc., for refusing to renounce their faith in Lord Jesus.  Will we be so bold and unwavering when that level of persecution visits us here in America?

The body of Christ has grown exponentially from its beginnings, but there will be a great falling away.  We might be witnessing the beginning of that falling away, but time will tell.

Be watchful and be ready for widespread and intense persecution of the church, it's coming to the USA whether we get a GOP or Dem elected as POTUS.

We pray to You Lord God almighty, for you are our praise.  Grant us your continued divine guidance and shelter as we enter troubling times unlike all that has ever befallen us. We beg you, Father, strengthen our faith and let us not go to the right or to the left, but keep us on that narrow way that we may strive to enter in at the strait gate and enjoy your presence forever. In Jesus's mighty holy holy holy and precious name. Amen amen.

I never posted in the political forums before.

But this year my eyes were opened to what the liberal agenda is trying to do, and they have the full support of the left leaning media.   So I post what Trump is really saying and trying to do for our country.

Also, if the left gets into office again, I wouldn't be surprised if they soon deem Christian speech against sin as hate speech.

The question begs to be asked . . . . What will it take for the Christians to care about our national leaders and policies expressed as an vote?

Are they waiting for the 'thought police' to come into their church and tell them to stop teaching biblical truth ? ? ?  What would be the 'red line' that might motivate them to vote their biblical beliefs . . . . maybe Abortion (we see that now), assault on traditional family unit (we see that now), transgender surgery mutilation of children, (we see all of that now) and more . . . .

While we the Church are debating about getting involved in politics and choosing who will represent us, I find it amazing that non-Christians are actually getting onboard with the republican party and its policies of conservativism for mainly freedom and economic reasons.  Meanwhile . . .  many Christians (who should care about defending the helpless) prefer to 'sit out' elections that are clearly black and white from an Judeo Christian values world view.

It is almost as if God is tapping on the shoulders the un-saved people to do an job that Christians are unwilling to do.

This is Soooo strange.

I give the whole political process to God. I ask Him to guide and direct me as far as this whole election goes. I ask that His will be done in our up coming election. God is in control of this whole election mess.

I put God in control. I then sit back and see what He will do. I don't get involved.

So Christians need to vote for people more in line with our values.

As Christians...we can determine what action to take that is in alignment with our faith and understanding of scripture. We do not need to talk about it in church to know what that looks like. Today, we mostly have liberal and conservative Christians arguing instead of "building each other up." The purpose of church gatherings is supposed to be for the edification of believers. It isnt a political debate forum. It does nothing to edify one another arguing about social/political issues. It just causes division and distraction.

I'm not talking about Christians arguing about politics when they gather together.

I'm talking about the importance of Christians voting, and voting using God given wisdom and commonsense.

If we don't vote, I can see the far left saying Christian speech is hate speech...and wanting our speech curtailed.

I can see Euthanasia becoming legal under the far left.... ridding society of the elderly and disabled they see as a drain on society.   They already are allowing late term abortions...some babies born alive and left to die.   (Eight in MN under Walz.)

Walz signed a law in MN which removed protections for babies born alive after an abortion.   And he attends a "church" which is totally into the transgender agenda... Pilgrim Lutheran.

Walz and Kamala Harris will not side with Christians regarding legislation.

The LBGTQ+ people want a Kamala Harris win.   In reading the article, I see Kamala is the reason our votes against gay marriage got overturned!!!  (We voted twice against gay marriage in California.)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
