Perhaps some have already lived through having beloved family members try  and even be practitioners of this kind of alternative and then die horrible deaths while family tended to them. All suffering as result, patients and caregivers all rather needlessly because of these awful deceivers.

I guess everyone is different.   My uncle Leo never went to the doctors.   When he had a slight stroke (not bad), the hospital told him he had cancer all throughout his body.

Then one of his nieces took him in.   He enjoyed eating her cooking and doing things with her kids and dog.    He had no pain whatsoever...and a few months later, he died peacefully in his sleep.   About 81 years old.   He was ready to go to Heaven so he didn't care if he died.

I had another family member who had uterine cancer.   She always listened to the doctors, had the painful radiation treatments and died a painful death at age 60.   They had her on morphine but she still had pain till the end.

Yep. My own family has had practitioners of this type of alternative medicine. Their quackery was an all consuming endeavor that managed to kill  more than a few people that if they had gone to a medical doctor instead would have likely lived a far healthier life to the moment of their deaths.

  The other side of the story you don't hear about, those experts brilliant mistakes. Many years ago the last thing my mom told me when bringing her home from the hospital after learning her cancer had come back, (she was 85) was "whatever happens, do not for any reason take me back to the hospital" She died at her home months later with her our family at her side. A blessing to those who have the assurance.

My wife is going to enjoy listening to this vid, Debp. She has defied her doctors advice for years to take medications(drugs) for high cholesterol that have very adverse side effects and researched on her own and through diet alone brought her cholesterol level down to a healthy level.  Amazingly the doctors still want her on the drugs. Medical protocols demand the drugs. She lives on avocados and coffee and essential oils, healthy food etc and I benefit also. At 75yrs she still works out at the gym twice a week and runs her own business 6 days a week.

Fasting can be a blessing. It helps us to discipline our flesh to the spirit's will periodically. It has spiritual as well as physical/mental benefits. I resist it myself and have to do some forcing, but I've always glad when I do.

I likewise don't take the statins.... because of the bad side effects.   Some medications might heal one thing and give you a slew of other bad medical problems.

I can only take my thyroid pill (slightly underactive) twice a week.   Elsewise I get bad side effects.   Thankfully my doctor is understanding....she will retire in a couple of years though.   But I'm 74 so who knows how long I'll be around.

Recently I heard Levothyroxine (my thyroid med) affects the bones.    So glad I didn't take much and it is a small dose.
