So, tell me again; how is it just the "believers in Jesus Christ?"

As Luther clearly stated above, there is the "Remnant Jew" that will be called, chosen, elect, saved and "Added" to the Church on earth, the Israel of God children of the promised seed

Romans 11:5-8KJV

5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

Gods words clearly show (Two Israel's) below

1.) Israel of the flesh (Jews)

2.) Israel of the promised seed (Church)

Scripture clearly teaches Israel of the flesh, they aren't the children of God, it's that simple

Romans 9:6-8KJV

6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Yes the Kingdom of God has been taken from National Ethnic Israel, And Given To The Church, a "Holy Nation" as clearly seen below

Matthew 21:43KJV

3 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

1 Peter 2:9KJV

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Shalom, my friend, @Luther

I'm sorry it took a while to get back to your post here, but I've noticed that all of these verses have come from the New Testament. One should be aware that the word "saint" is also found in the Old Testament, as well.

For your consideration, the word is found 39 times in 36 verses within the OT:

Deu 33:2 KJV - And he said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand [went] a fiery law for them.

Deu 33:3 KJV - Yea, he loved the people; all his saints [are] in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; [every one] shall receive of thy words.

1Sa 2:9 KJV - He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

2Ch 6:41 KJV - Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.

Job 5:1 KJV - Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?

Job 15:15 KJV - Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.

Psa 16:3 KJV - [But] to the saints that [are] in the earth, and [to] the excellent, in whom [is] all my delight.

Psa 30:4 KJV - Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psa 31:23 KJV - O love the LORD, all ye his saints: [for] the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

Psa 34:9 KJV - O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for [there is] no want to them that fear him.

Psa 37:28 KJV - For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Psa 50:5 KJV - Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

Psa 52:9 KJV - I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done [it]: and I will wait on thy name; for [it is] good before thy saints.

Psa 79:2 KJV - The dead bodies of thy servants have they given [to be] meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.

Psa 85:8 KJV - I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Psa 89:5 KJV - And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

Psa 89:7 KJV - God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all [them that are] about him.

Psa 97:10 KJV - Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psa 106:16 KJV - They envied Moses also in the camp, [and] Aaron the saint of the LORD.

Psa 116:15 KJV - Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.

Psa 132:9 KJV - Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

Psa 132:16 KJV - I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

Psa 145:10 KJV - All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.

Psa 148:14 KJV - He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; [even] of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.

Psa 149:1 KJV - Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, [and] his praise in the congregation of saints.

Psa 149:5 KJV - Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Psa 149:9 KJV - To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Pro 2:8 KJV - He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

Dan 7:18 KJV - But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.

Dan 7:21 KJV - I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Dan 7:22 KJV - Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Dan 7:25 KJV - And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Dan 7:27 KJV - And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Dan 8:13 KJV - Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain [saint] which spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily [sacrifice], and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

Hos 11:12 KJV - Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.

Zec 14:5 KJV - And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee.

So, tell me again; how is it just the "believers in Jesus Christ?"

Amen. Excellent verses. Same people.

Psalms 50:3-5

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

[4]He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

[5]Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

( Psalm 50:1)......"OUR" God

Revelation 5:10

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

( Psalm 50:4)..... " HIS " people

Romans 15:8-10

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

[9]And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

[10]And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

( Psalm 50:5)......" MY " saints

Matthew 24:30-31

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

[31]And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Galatians 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

One God, One plan of Salvation, One people.

Every Christian should understand this, and rejoice that the Old Testament makes such glorious promises for them.

Shalom, again, @Anne2.

(I saved the best of your posts to last.)

And, when the Messiah comes IN HIS GLORY with all the holy angels with Him, you know what the Pharisees, lawyers, priests, and rabbis are going to say?

"Uhhhh .... <<<oops!>>>  ...  WELCOME, WELCOME, MESSIAH, the One Who comes on the Authority of YHWH God!"

It's going to be SO HILARIOUS! And, such a HAPPY MOMENT OF VICTORY for Israel to experience His RESCUE AS PROMISED BY GOD LONG AGO!!! Yeeshuwa`s WAR will be WITHOUT EQUAL as He THRASHES Israel's enemies until the blood flows as deep as the horses' bridles!

Among these religious leaders, there'll be a LOT of "crow being eaten" that day!

You said: :

"Uhhhh .... <<<oops!>>>  ...  WELCOME, WELCOME, MESSIAH, the One Who comes on the Authority of YHWH God!"

That's not true at all. The opposite is going to happen:

Matthew 21:37-38,42-43

But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

[38]But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

[42]Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

[43]Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

You said : " Ephesians 2:19 The word "saints" are NOT just those who "believe in Jesus" they are the "Holy Ones"

Nah, the "saints " are believers in Jesus Christ:

Acts 9:41

[41]And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

Acts 26:10

Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.

Romans 1:7

To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:25

But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.

1 Corinthians 1:2

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

1 Corinthians 6:2

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

You went on saying: "This is NOT THE SAME as being "Justified by God," or as it is erroneously labeled today, being "Saved." The "saints" are NOT just "born again Christians" but also includes all those who are the descendants of the nation over which David and Solomon ruled."

Revelation 15:3

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Revelation 19:7-8

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

[8]And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Sometimes I think you really like to compartmentalize different words which carry the same meaning.

Jesus Christ is " King of saints ". That's everyone in His kingdom.

And in that marriage supper of the Lamb ( Oh God may I be worthy) it's ALL OF US....with HIS  name " in our foreheads"

Revelation 22:4

[4]And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

These verses were used WELL BEFORE the coming of the Messiah Yeeshuwa`, the Son of David, the Son of Natan, the Son of Leviy, the Son of the Shimi'iy, who was predicted by GaVriy'eel (Gabriel) to have a Kingdom that will never end!

21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a NATION (NOT a "church") bringing forth the fruits thereof (the "10 lost tribes" - the "House of Israel").

Genesis 35:10-11

35:10 And God said unto him, Thy name [is] Jacob (the Supplanter): thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and He called his name Israel (champion of God).
35:11 And God said unto him, I [am] God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation AND a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

Matthew 15:24 But he (Jesus) answered and said, I am not sent but unto the "lost sheep" of the "House of Israel" (the Ten "Lost" Tribes of Israel).

Matthew 10:5-6

10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go NOT into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the "House of Israel".

You said: "and given to a NATION (NOT a "church")"

The " nation" is in reference to a people, namely all who become saved (kings shall come out of thy loins;). Christians are referred to as " kings".

You quoted: " Go NOT into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the "House of Israel".

Absolutely. The Israelites were to hear the gospel first. Those who received Christ became Christians. Those who did not, their kingdom was taken away. In other words there is only one kingdom now. Christ's kingdom. If you do not become part of this kingdom before the KING comes, it's sudden destruction.

You said: :

Shalom, @Luther.

Um.... Sorry, but this happened in the FIRST Century A.D.! They DID "kill the heir!" They did it ON THE CROSS! That "nation bringing forth the fruits of the Kingdom" is a FUTURE generation of the children of Israel! The Greek word "ethnos" doesn't always refer to Gentiles; it may also be a multitude from their OWN nation. It's just like the Hebrew word "goy" or its plural "goyim": While they OFTEN refer to other nations of the Gentiles, they are also used of the Children of Israel, as well. The words "goy" and "ethnos" each just means a "PEOPLE!"

Yeeshuwa` is NOT "the king of everyone"; He is "the King of the JEWS!" (Matthew 2:2). Yeeshuwa` said,

"I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." (Matthew 15:24)

And, He instructed His disciples this way:

Matthew 10:5-11:1 (KJV)

5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying,

"Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any] city of the Samaritans enter ye not6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7 And as ye go, preach (herald [like a town cryer]), saying,

"'The kingdom of heaven is at hand (within your grasp)!'

8 "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. 9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, 10 Nor scrip for [your] journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

11 "And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12 And when ye come into an house, salute it. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

16 "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them AND the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

21 "And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against [their] parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved (delivered; rescued). 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over THE CITIES OF ISRAEL, till the Son of man be come.

Let's pause here for a moment: This is not a FUTURE scenario to US! This happened during Yeeshuwa`s FIRST advent! They were leading the way throughout Israel, heralding in the towns and villages that "The King is coming through!"

So, this "coming of the Son of man" is His coming to THEIR town or village, the ones to whom they were heralding the King!

24 "The disciple (student) is not above [his] master (teacher), nor the servant (slave) above his lord (master). 25 It is enough for the disciple (student) that he be AS his master, and the servant AS his lord. If they have called the master of the house 'Beelzebub', how much more [shall they call] them of his household? 26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27 "What I tell you in darkness, [that] speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, [that] preach (proclaim; announce; shout) ye upon the housetops. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul (not able to eliminate that person's resurrection): but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul (that person's resurrection) and body in hell (Greek: ἐν γεέννῃ = "en ge-ennee" = "in [the]Valley of-[the son of]-Hinnowm," the place in Israel, just outside the southeast side of the Old City, where the kings of Judaea would set up their judgment seats). 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father (knowing). 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

32 "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven (Greek: ἐν οὐρανοῖς = "en ouranois" = "in [the]-skies"). 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven (Greek: ἐν οὐρανοῖς = "en ouranois" = "in [the]-skies").

34 "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth (on the Land): I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes [shall be] they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

40 "He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. 42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold [water] only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward."

11:1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach (herald [the Kingdom]) IN THEIR CITIES.

Correct. The Greek word "ekklesia" means "community"; it does NOT mean "church" (i.e. a building where God said that He does NOT dwell - Acts 7:48; 17:24).

Of course a nation is made of people. And no, Christians are NOT referred to anywhere in Scripture as "kings" (see: Matt. 23:11-12; Mark 9:34-35).

The reference to "kings shall come out of thy loins" is a LITERAL reference to the kingly line of David (from which Jesus was descended) which God promised David would NEVER lack a descendant of David's to sit on the throne IN Israel (2 Chron. 7:18), awaiting Christ's SECOND Coming, when God will give the Throne of David to Christ, exactly as prophesied (Ezek. 21:25-27; Luke 1:31-33).

Jeremiah 33:17 For thus saith the "I AM"; David shall never want (lack) a man to sit upon the throne of the House of Israel;

Psalm 89:34-36

89:34 My Covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
89:35 Once have I sworn by My holiness that I will not lie unto David.
89:36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as "the sun" before me.

The key word is "Israelites", i.e. the true descendants of ALL of the sons of Jacob/Israel, with whom God made His Covenant. It does NOT refer to "them which call themselves "Jews" and are NOT", nor does it refer to "Israelis", nor to Idumeans, nor to Ashkenazis, etc.

The reason that this distinction is critically important is because it is literally impossible to correctly understand Biblical prophecy without first understanding who the Israelite NATIONS of the world today are. It is no accident or happy coincidence that those nations became the Christian nations of the world, as they would be the most likely people on Earth to accept Christ, at least nominally. And to witness/deliver the Word of God all over the world, even if they don't live by it.

Maybe we should do a poll. God's people, who will dwell forever with Him, are called:

A) CHRISTIANS OF THE NEW COVENANT

B) ISRAEL, ISRAELIS, JEWS OF THE OLD COVENANT

It seems to me that after all the discussions we've had, you're not willing, for whatever reason, to be able to make this simple choice. Only One answer is Biblical.

Can anyone else seeing this be able to make this simple decision? A or B?

Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
