Now that we got the hyperbole out of the way, while your all worried about what some fancy person is doing on a TV show geared for adults anyway that no one's forcing you to watch, they ALREADY ARE grooming people into pedofiles and child sexualization, in our very schools and public libraries.

Not even talking about the sex ed classes, children's libraries across the nation are being filled with sexually explicit and perverse books. And the public libraries are bad enough, but the school libraries where parents have no control over what their kids read? 

Yeah, that's happening right now, nation wide, and has been happening for years, since before COVID.

Seems to me if you want to be outraged about something that is what you should be outraged about it, and do something about it.

I campaigned for in my home town and elected conservative county commissioners who appointed a new library board who fired the library director because she refused to move said books from the kids area.

But please, continue with your outrage over a skit done on a TV show that everyone else has already forgotten about, and lecture me because I "don't care"

Fact is, I do care, just not about some dumb **** on a night show I don't even watch, but rather about the very real situation playing out in our schools.

What makes you think I had not been addressing these things?

It seems a lot of us here in this forum are seniors and so our time is limited, but I shudder what the world will look like when my little grandchildren are my age?  What type of depravity will be considered normal then?

I hear you, but I suspect that will happen much faster than that. When He who restrains is taken away, there will no longer be a restraint holding back evil.

I had the TV on after watching a basketball game and the "Best of SNL" came on. I have to say my spirit was revulsed and the realization that the world is just the world (dead), with the evil mind behind it.  It is passing away, and those of us in the new creation do well to avoid looking at it too much! (least we turn into a pillar of salt)

It is disheartening to see in America how much immorality and decadence have raised its ugly head in my lifetime and openly being proud of it. With the government lighting up the White House in gay pride colors, encouraging celebration and tolerance of perversion. A special class of people protected under hate crime laws. Are any crimes committed out of "love?" Yes, silently praying at an abortion clinic.

I have heard it said several times: Tel Aviv, Israel, is the gay capital of the world, of all places.

My driver's license is about to expire. I have had no luck with the DMV or government identifying me as a Trans-Ager, a thirty-year-old.

As I foreseen it coming years ago, bestiality and animal identification will follow gay rights, not to mention the worship and church of intelligence (AI). Guess what the minority squeaking wheel now wants?

It is going to get much worse. The question is, how much of it will we witness before the Lord calls us home?

I follow you on Facebook, and haven't seen anything other then stuff like this. I just stopped commenting, as you took everything so personally and it made having a discussion impossible, so it wasn't worth the effort. 

I can see, on worthy isn't much different, so for the sake of the peace I will just leave you be.

Very interesting analysis.  We all know that many people "worship" science as their proxy religion.  Going forward, we can see that more humans could put their faith and hope in what AI can do for us all.  It might very well be a ploy to dissuade us from serving our Creator.

To be forthright, AI does/will have advantages and will bring about some improvement in the human condition, but then again, that is how the Devil works:  he uses a little bit of "light" to make something abominable appear helpful and even good, as noted in 2 Corinthians 11:14: "And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps disguising himself as an angel of light."

That's a good observation, and I would like to comment further, but my bad habit of unintentionally derailing a topic has kicked in. Perhaps when I have time, I will start a thread on it. My apologies, @nebula.
