I just put this in another thread, does it change anything? 

Do you think if you had read the New Testament in the order it comes to us, and kept notes, and learned this first, do you think you would still believe as you do above?  You don't have to answer, i was just wondering...And I don't think I understand the Abraham thing as the promises that matter here are the ones through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob...remembering Abraham also had 12 kids with Keturah, right?  Anyways...

The way I understand it 

Israel followed the Laws of God when the Gentiles were basically 'blinded' to them.

Now the Christians follow in faith while the Jews are basically 'blind' to Christ Jesus.

THIS WAY, God can include all in disobedience, so that ALL can receive mercy.  

That is why Christians are NOT to boast.  The blindness 'in part' only serves to BENEFIT us.  

 

I also consider another possible NEED for the Jews to 'keep the Law' (blindness so not come to faith) because of

Matt 5
17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

If they didn't 'keep the law' where would it have gone?

What He did for Abraham; 

Genesis 18:17-19 The Lord said, “Your new name is Abraham and a great and powerful nation will come from you. All the other nations will wish to be blessed as they are.”

 “For I have chosen you that you may instruct your family and posterity in the ways of the Lord, by doing what is right and just, so that I will fulfil for My people all that I have promised.” 

What He is soon to do for the Christian peoples:

Ezekiel 28:24-26   The Lord God says: When I gather the House of Israel from the nations among whom they are now scattered and I have been reverenced by them, as the nations will see, then they will live in their heritage, all of the Holy Land that I promised to My servant Jacob.

They will have security there, building houses and planting vineyards, yes, they will dwell in confidence and safety, when I have executed My judgements upon all their contemptuous neighbours. They will no longer have to fear any threats from ungodly peoples around them and they will know that I am the Lord their God.     KJV, CJB, REB.

This short prophecy encapsulates the truth of what every righteous Christian can expect for their future. Sadly, not many can see this future, because of beliefs in false teachings and inability to discern the prophesies correctly.

We know from New Testament teaching that Christian peoples now belong to the House of Israel, whether they are true descendants of Jacob or not. But in order for God’s promises to the Patriarchs to be fulfilled, the majority, now ‘scattered among the nations’, WILL, in fact, be their descendants. Only God knows who they all are. Amos 9:9

All of the Lord’s righteous Christian peoples will be gathered soon after ‘a Day of cloud and darkness’, Ezekiel 34:11-16, Ezekiel 20:34-38.  That will be the many prophesied and well described - ‘Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath’, the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster of fire from the sun, Malachi 4:1, 2 Peter 3:7, that will destroy His enemies, Isaiah 66:15-16 and enable God’s plan for His people to ‘display His glory for all the nations to see’, Ezekiel 39:27, to be fulfilled. Proving that all this will happen before the Return of Jesus for His Millennium reign.

The people of the new nation of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, having passed through the ‘great ordeal’ of the Day of wrath, Luke 21:35, Revelation 7:1-17, will select their own leaders, Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11, they will build a new Temple, Zechariah 6:15, Haggai 2:6-9, they will send out 144,000 missionaries to proclaim the coming Kingdom of Jesus, Isaiah 66:19, and after all that is prophesied before the Return takes place, it is them; We Christians, who will say: ‘Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord’!

He gathers the House of Israel, I agree, but His servant JACOB is of all the tribes.  Just like when it is written the WHOLE house of Israel...

And what does He do when they are gathered?

I believe The day of vengeance is the return of Christ for the Lords Day, His millennial reign because

2 Thess also gives us what will be happening on the earth when He returns....And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,


the destruction of HIS ENEMIES takes place AT His return, not before as SATAN is in the process destroying all HIS ENEMIES through deception up until then...


the 'world wide' disaster is the SHORT SEASON those under the altar are told they have to wait for 'vengeance', the 6th seal

We don't see Christ return until the 7th...


 

The Seventh Seal

1And when he had opened the seventh seal,

there was silence in heaven

the seven angels were given seven trumpets.

another angel having a golden censer was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth

the seven angels prepared themselves to sound.

The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, cast upon the earth

Doesn't seem like Christ and His armies should be ON THE EARTH for this, does it?
 

And the second sounded, and a great mountain was cast into the sea

Doesn't seem like Christ and His armies should be ON THE EARTH for this either, does it?

the third sounded and there fell a great star from heaven, the name of the star Wormwood and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Why would Christ and the armies be upon the earth for that?
 

the fourth sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

That doesn't make since because PARTS are mentioned and when Christ returns there is NO MENTION of it being for 'a third' of anything, does it?  So it doesn't make any sense for Christ to have come in the 6th seal, as the SAINTS under the altar are AWAITING THE DEATHS OF THEIR FELLOW SERVANTS and it sure sounds like that would be taking place during the tribulation of Satan and not the Lord.  



THEN comes an angel saying Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other three angels  

Will Christ be there for these?  

 

WOE
the fifth sounded, a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and given the key of the bottomless pit. he opened it; and the sun and the air were darkened And there came  locusts, with power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And they hurt men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months And in those days shall men seek death and death shall flee from them.


What will Christ and His armies be doing for these 5 months seeing that

they had a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

12One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

This is all taking place when?  Do you see why I believe the 6th is the COMING OF SATAN, and not Christ and His armies yet?  

 

the sixth angel sounded, and "Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.



16And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. 17And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. 18By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. 19For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

20And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Will Christ and His armies be on the earth for all THAT?  


 

WOE NUMBER 2
The Witnesses Killed and Raised

7And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

AND WOE NUMBER 3, takes place AT the END of the 7th SEAL, AT the 7th trump,
(and you know what takes place at the 7th vial, right?) the 7th poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Kinda makes it easy to figure out the '666' doesn't it?

The Seventh Trumpet

15And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 16And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 18And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead,

(who will rise when Christ returns????   THE DEAD
that they should be judged,
and what happens to those ALIVE AND REMAINING?  they are changed...)

and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.


but before that happens...

Rev 11 ends with 
19And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

 15 tells what happens
5And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: 6And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. 7And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. 8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.


How LONG will GODS WRATH last?  If the vial "a broad shallow cup" is an indicator, NOT LONG. 



11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.



And that is why I don't believe the 6th seal is about the coming of the Lord, but the coming of Satan...because Satan comes first and the souls under the altar are told they are just waiting until their fellowservants are killed like they were, and that wouldn't be the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

However, it just seems now that we all have different opinions about what God has planned for His people in the end times. 

Be ready and prepared to stand firm in your faith thru it all.
