DOK,

Bless you.

Know what my Pastor says each month when they roll out the Communion? "This settles it, Jesus Loves you".

DOK, Jesus died for your sin, past, present, and future. It's settled. He spread His arms wide and said , "I Love you".

Have you recieved this Outrageous Grace and Love?

If you have? It is even upon Him to extend His Grace for you to live victoriously. Just ask Him. :)

He paid for your sin. He certainly doesn't want you wallowing in the mud. He is a Strong Man and keeps His House. He wants you focused on Him and not sliding back into what He delivered you from. The trick of the enemy after you've been Saved is to make your witness useless. The enemy has lost you. Now he is trying to keep you from telling anybody else about it.

Doubt, fear, and anxiety are not from our Lord. Cast them aside and walk in the Precious Liberty of the Lord. It's precious because it cost Him everything to Liberate you. Know why. He thought you were worth it.

Receive His Grace and walk in Liberty. He never said it was going to be easy. He even promised we would have trouble here in this world. However we are not to fear. He has overcome this world and will never leave us, no never fiorsake us, us His very own.

Peace,

Dave

I believe that many will go to hell and few will go to heaven. I believe it takes more than the belief in Jesus Christ as an automatic ticket into heaven. He will judge us on all our sins. Do I think that I might go to hell if I steal? Possibly. If I am lazy? Possibly. If I do not give any money away to the poor? Possibly..........

1John 2:1 My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

1John 2:2 And He is the propitiation concerning our sins, and not concerning ours only, but also concerning the sins of all the world.

1John 2:3 And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments.

1John 2:4 He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1John 2:5 But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.

1John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.

We cant completely refrain from sin. But we can turn our backs on wanting to sin, and habitual sin without repentence. We can be changed new creations in Jesus, free from sin and its punishment. Give it to the Lord and trust in Him.

By what Scripture do you say this?

He will judge us on all our sins.

There are different judgments. When Jesus said, "I will reward you according to what you have done," He was speaking to those who believe in Him about the blessings they will receive in Heaven for obeying hIs commands. This isn't about getting into Heaven or not - it's what you get after you are there.

Can you point to a time (or period of time) where you were born again?

Paul is trying to get his readers to grasp the seriosness of these sins. His goal is their repentance, not for his readers to reject them forever no matter what.

Christian fellowship is awsome, isn't it? Well, if this person no longer had that, he would have one more motive to repent.

Unbelivers are watching christians, and they need to see a differance between themselves and people who serve a living, almighty, holy Lord. They need to see victory in out lives over alchohal, over sexual immoratlity, over greed, etc. "Otherwise, why is accepting Jesus any better?" They will think.

Paul knew what he was talking about, and he loved his readers very much. He also understood that their soul was more important than their feelings sometimes.

Yes, the bible does in fact say that they who do these things won't inherit the kingdom, doesn't it? And I'm sure God means what he says. But it's OK! Jesus will not ask you to do anything impossible! HE provides his righteosness for us, and he will give you victory over sin. You may want to pick a new circle of friends though. Who knows? Maybe when they see your seriosness about following God, they will rededicate their lives.

Hi Daughter,

I looked thru your many threads. It looks like what you are really asking, in many different ways, is "who is God?"

Many here have given you good responses to your questions. Yet you are still frustrated and confused. And that is understandable. I think maybe you are wanting to understand too much, too quickly.

Other Christians can give you the facts and the truth of the Gospel.

But only you can develop your relationship with Jesus.

I can tell you all about my best friend, but you would still not really know them. You would need to meet them and spend time with them to really understand who they are.

In the same way, a relationship with Jesus comes with time and effort. One needs to spend time with Jesus and get to know Him....just as you would any friend. One needs to read and study the Bible, and spend time in prayer. One must also strive to live a life of service to Him.

As your relationship deepens, you will come to know Jesus, as Lord, Saviour, King, Master, and friend......deep in your heart. And also, as you come to know Him, many of your questions will be answered without even a need to ask them.

Does this make any sense?????

Love,

Fiosh

Let me see if I can clairify Paul's teachings here:

For proof that Paul teaches love, just like Christ, check out Galatians 5 as an example...See verses 13-14? "You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" The rest of the chapter centers around that passage, explaining how it applies in our lives.

Paul is basically taking a longer way to explain the concept that Christ managed in a single sentence:

"If you love me, you will obey what I command." - John 14:15

Anyway, if there were real inconsistencies in the teachings, the Pauline Epistles (Paul's letters) would not have made it into the Biblical canon.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
