I think we should just let it go. I'm 78 and been married 55 years.  You can't possibly offend me.  Not sure what was said, but I'm not concerned about it.   If it matters, I'll pm it to you, and you can decide for yourself. I just try not to offend folks here.

Awesome brother, let's drop it and please never mention genders to me again. I know two genders, boy/girl and that's it. I'm the new guy here, I've been trying not to offend anyone also.

But apparently, Alive is quick on the draw and told me to apologize to you. And you say there was no offense! Lol! Now that's funny! Maybe Alive owes me an apology?! Eh?

What? I'm not allowed to ask someone if they are a Christian? I clicked all over his info drop down and no religion is listed. I didn't know. I asked.

That is my offense?!

There's a difference between, 'confused christian', and, 'non christian' and I didn't know what he was/is.

I didn't see what you wrote when I wrote to you, so you should keep Alive's message to heart.  BTW if you are a born again Christian with the Holy Spirit dwelling within you, technically you are a "we/they".  Just for the record.  And they do "BTW" fit into this discussion of the names of things we call each other.  Jesus is a we/they for he is an essence of three and I have joined the group.

Oh come on Brother. You just said that you wanted to drop the gender stuff. Don't try to to technically me into more gender nonsense by putting a biblical spin on it. Please! I got in trouble for it yesterday, one of the mods freaked on me for nothing so let's stay away from it before we upset him again.

I have a fine relationship with the Holy Spirit and our Lord. As good as it should be? No. As good as it gets? No. But I am growing and learning and am so far, unperfected. But I have a lot to look forward to! We all do, Praise the Lord!

I've posted some pretty wild Testimonies over in the Testimonies forum. I must be doing something right because the Lord keeps doing things for me! Right?

Yeah I deleted that post too fast, that was a mistake. It wasnt offensive either. I asked you were a christian.

About the gender thing with languages, (and my seven years of French at school):

Many languages use gendered pronouns and grammatical gender systems where nouns, adjectives, and sometimes verbs are classified as masculine, feminine, or neuter. Here are some examples:

  1. Romance Languages: Languages like Spanish, French, and Italian have grammatical gender. For instance, in French, "il" (he) and "elle" (she) are gendered pronouns, and nouns like "le livre" (the book) are masculine, while "la table" (the table) is feminine.

  2. Germanic Languages: German has three genders—masculine, feminine, and neuter. Pronouns like "er" (he), "sie" (she), and "es" (it) reflect this system.

  3. Slavic Languages: Russian, Polish, and Czech also have grammatical gender. For example, in Russian, "он" (he) and "она" (she) are gendered pronouns.

  4. Semitic Languages: Arabic has masculine and feminine forms for pronouns, verbs, and adjectives. For example, "هو" (he) and "هي" (she) are gendered pronouns.

  5. Indo-Aryan Languages: Hindi and Sanskrit have grammatical gender. In Hindi, "वह" (he/she) can be gender-neutral in writing but is often pronounced differently for male and female contexts.

  6. Modern Hebrew: Like Arabic, Hebrew has gendered pronouns and verbs. For example, "הוא" (he) and "היא" (she).

These systems often extend beyond pronouns to influence the entire grammar of the language.

Ok, I'll buy that. But other one isnt from those countries, he's in the USA. He says he has 3 genders. Now that just dont compute in English, lol.

Unless he was being sort of facetious for whatever reason and was approaching the conversation as a normal human being but leading up to it through an obscure point somehow? In which case he...should have did more clarifying and less vagueness.

And I don't  even know that's what he was doing.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
