We have to Understand though that a Born Again Believer still struggles with the flesh,because they may get caught up with the cares of this world and lean on their own understanding doesn't necessarily mean they are not on the Lords Side-there is the carnal mind,intellect,emotions etc... that can hinder access to the Mind of Christ - these are great obstacles as are the distractions all around us all everyday,so perhaps pray to be less judgemental and accusatory- God Knows the heart,He Knows our own hearts better than we do

I watched an interesting movie yesterday" American Sniper" - a true story about a Navy Seal that had 160 confirmed " kills" - you probably heard of him,Chris Kyle - he served 4 tours in Iraq- a Christian man and boy did his service mess with his head

I thought of you as I watched and wondered about many things  when he made his first " kill" as "Overwatch" protecting the Marines on the ground below- he killed a little boy( in the movie) and mother who pulled out some sort of grenade launcher.....it kind of puts a different perspective on what actually goes on in war

So it's called a ' righteous kill" not murder,not an innocent though in my mind I have to wonder how that must be to live with,innocent or not innocent it's still a human life- I'm Grateful I'm not the one in that position but no doubt to protect ' my own' Id have made the shot

This is the world we live in- no one comes out ahead,there's no winners,war is pretty senseless but so is the lust for power,money & control - all because man refuses to humble himself before the Mighty Hand of God Most High

Israel didn't choose the position she is in nor ever initiated war with anyone from 1948 to present day....every enemy that has started war against Israel have attempted to obliterate the little Country from existence- none succeeded....... Yet, even on the battlefield, it may become possible from time to time to show mercy and God's love to an enemy. There are many such accounts, especially at the ends of the Great War and WWII.

I noticed that. People dont fight honorably anymore. If you look back to the OT and see how enemies treated each other, geez it's almost like, they treated their enemies better than we treat our friends today! Weird.

As we are drawing closer to this time, certain things are starting to escalate like the Middle East. For many years I accepted the narrative like every other Christian about Israel. 

The difference between when God first saved me and now is that I have a clearer understanding of these people and their history. 

So I can't agree when certain statements are made about whom many people consider " God's chosen people" ( right there we have a misconception). 

The " lost"  10 tribes of Israel are not lost, they have become assimilated or blended into the nations a long time ago. So the Jews you see today have primarily the ancestry of the tribe of Judah, although a very faint anscestry, due to race mixing. 

With that being said, the remaining Israelites (mostly Judah) in the southern kingdom who rejected Christ went on to make a new religion called Judaism which made a book called the talmud their main authority, even over the Torah. This is what most people don't understand. 

Their book has a specific plan laid out for world domination. When comments are made about their victimhood, not many realize the fact that they have been expelled over 1030 times in 110 countries. You have to ask yourself why. Well, I looked into why. And all the heartache and affliction the indigenous people of Palestine ( Christians, Jews, Muslims) has had since 1948 ( and a few years before), has everything to do with the nature of these people ( attributed to their supremecist religion) and why they were expelled so many times. That's the truth. That's only a tiny fraction of what's going on. That's why I'm a different person than I was about  "God's chosen people". So you have to excuse me if I don't always follow the narrative. Well Luther,you have no idea what I think about the ' God's Chosen People"- or Judaism but it doesn't much matter because there's only 2 kinds of people in this world- Believers & unbelievers,I'm about as impressed with organized religion as Almighty God is,meaning  not in the least ... Sacrifice & burnt offerings,traditions of men and such do not please God.....

As I said early on I really don't believe most of what people chatter about that I've not seen first hand so I'll not comment on things I don't know about- what I do know is that there is blood on everyone's hands in war- just as there was blood on Davids hands from the shedding of blood and surely King David went into battle with God- God Said he was not suitable to build the Temple because of it BUT what better example is there of one who shed blood by the Sword and was clearly ON GODS SIDE. So we must not be so quick to pass judgement.

I do not support Israel because I think they are still God's Chosen people as in the Nation Israel from the time of Jesus earthy Ministryp,in my eyes they are unbelievers and God is no respecter of persons- however God Has a Plan for Israel and Salvation is His Plan,is it because being born a Jew makes anyone more favorable to God or is it ultimately for a Testimony to His Glory ?He could have picked Eskimos for His Divine Purpose but He Didnt,He Chose them and they rejected their Messiah.

However,I do support Israel for many reasons and they are not a violent organization hellbent on death and destruction under the guise of doing it in the name of a false god

Deuteronomy 7:6

 6 For you are a holy people, who belong to the Lord your God. Of all the people on earth, the Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure..../NLT

The Lord was talking to Moses here. It seems very clear. Do you not believe the scriptures completely? 

But don't misunderstand me. I don't think this includes the evil money grubbing Jews that may be in Israel, the Pharisees are alive and well!  But God's people. Of the 12 tribes perhaps but whether they all did DNA tests and stuff to prove it is doubtful. But God can gather them when the time is right. Those people are God's chosen people.

I do not see an expiration date on this promise, nor do I see replacement theology:

Genesis 12:3 (KJV) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

How pure of a bloodline do you suppose exists for the children of Jacob.  Consider Judah who took a Canaanite wife and had offspring with his dead sons widow, Tamar, also Canaanite.  

And Joseph whose wife was likely Egyptian. 

Consider also the lineage of Yeshua: Rahab of Jericho, Ruth the Moabitess, Bathsheba the Hittite.  

How many other non-Israeli women did the twelve sons of Jacob propagate children?  As well as the sons and grandsons, etc. of the twelve? We just don't know.  And this is why God's people, God's children, are not just faithful Jews, but are faithful people from every nation.
