I agree.  Especially democracy and communism. Both of which are rule by tyranny: the former, tyranny of the majority; the latter, tyranny of the totalitarians.

I'll just do my part to call out the sinful actions and speech

Just out of curiosity: did you call out Biden for his sinful speeches supporting transgender ideology?  Or Obama for his support of the SCOTUS ruling in favor of gay marriage?  Or Harris for her support of both Trans ideology and gay marriage?

That said, since we, in the US, live in a country where we have the ability to vote for our leaders we should take advantage and vote for the person whose life and speech reflect the closest thing to a Christian life and way of thinking

You're a Christian but your in favor of engaging in sinful politics in a sinful world just because you have a right to do so?  It seems lie double-talk to me.

I see where lawmakers in Washington are putting forth bills like HR 792 "To direct the Secretary of the Interior to arrange for the carving of the figure of President Donald J. Trump on Mount Rushmore National Memorial." Now there's a way to spend our money. We're going further into debt every day and this is what they are working on? Another bill would replace Benjamin Franklin on the $100 bill with Trump. Is that why we send people to Washington?

For someone with such a negative view of politics, and for someone who views politics as of the sinful world and not of Christ,  you seem to be neck deep in it.  Peace

I don't remember commenting on any transgender issue mainly because I see it as one of those things that while I may not approve of their stand on the issue, I don't see it as anything that undermines our institutions or is full of lies or hateful rhetoric. The hateful rhetoric came from those opposed on the right but I didn't comment on that either because I see it as just another political matter. As for gay marriage, I could care less whether the government wants to allow gay marriage. It doesn't change the fact that homosexuality is a sin and gay people are going to engage in gay sex whether or not they can legally marry.

I don't engage in politics unless it's to call out angry, hateful rhetoric, especially coming from those who call themselves Christian or to call out propaganda based on lies. Otherwise I just vote and thank God our country still allows freedom of religion.

As I've stated time and time again, I'm only knee deep in exposing and calling out hateful and angry rhetoric and lies. I don't actually have a negative view of it, I just believe that to get involved in hyper partisan politics is counter-productive to having the ability to be taken seriously when sharing the Gospel with those who may share different beliefs than myself.

You should look around you a little more. While you may call PBS or even 60 Minutes left wing (if you're coming from a far right point of view) but I see PBS as just slightly left of center and 60 Minutes as pretty centrist. That said, you obviously don't know who Salem News and NTD are. They are both far right News outlets. NTD (with their parent company The Epoch News) was the second biggest Trump ad buyer on Facebook in the 2020 election. Salem News is probably just a little right of Breitbart and features the Lara Trump Show, along with the Larry Elder Show and the Armstrong Williams Show. It's a 24/7 Trump worship service.

I have read pretty extensively over the years. I used to read fiction and my favorite fiction books are "A Tale of Two Cities", "The Good Earth", "To Kill a Mockingbird", "Catch 22" and "Johnny Got His Gun". These days I read magazines online, Bible Commentaries and Lexicons and News Outlets on all sides. I also watch a good deal of news on TV. I watch all the Sunday Morning News Shows, PBS, NTD, Salem News, Scripts News and 60 Minutes to name a few. I'm retired and have time on my hands. I also want to hear what's going on from all angles.

I loved reading the house of earth trilogy by pearl buck (the good earth is book 1). She is my second favorite author. Rudyard kipling is my favorite. Especially plain tales from the hills.

My husband reads nordic noir mysteries. It does not make him a serial killer or any kind of killer (except spiders).

I read the quran. It did not mean then or now that I was muslim. I got saved as a Christian before I read it.

I spend a lot of time reading. I typically read a book in 4 hours, and I tend to sleep less than my husband, so I have a lot of free time too with a limited budget. I have library cards at (counts) 5 libraries, with reciprocal access to several others. In addition, there is open library where you can read books for free that were uploaded to their site. I am pretty sure that is available in the uk.

Who in your estimation was the candidate for POTUS in 2016, 2020, and 2024 that closest met the standard you've just articulated?  And did you vote for him or her?

Again, in an effort to steer clear of partisan political issues, I don't reveal who I vote for but I do vote. As Will Rogers said "I always want to vote for the best person for the job. Unfortunately that person has yet to run." So, I vote for the closest next best thing.

Fair enough.

Without explicitly telling who you voted for, which candidate in the 2016, 2020, and 2024 POTUS elections was most aligned with Christian world view by their speech?

I say it was Donald J. Trump. He is not as biblically literate as I would like him to be, but most Christians aren't. Nonetheless, he's said more about the Christian faith, and he's done more to  for persecuted Christians than Biden, Obama, and Harris.

First: so-called 'transgender' is a lie and the ideology promotes the lie that girls and women can be boys and men respectively, and boys and men can be girls and women respectively.  All a lie.

Second: transgender inclusion in women's sports and women's places is eroding, one transgendered person at a time, the institution codified in Title IX, which is designed to protect and advance girls and women's right to a level playing field.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
