Thanks for correcting me sorry about that :b2: I believe this refers to the millennium kingdom: Ezekiel 34 11 "For thus says the Lord GOD: "Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. 13And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. Guest idolsmasher Posted August 4, 2003 Share Posted August 4, 2003 To understand the new heaven and new earth and the heavenly city, New Jerusalem, you really have to look at Revelation. It looks like chapter 21 follows chapter 20 chronologically so therefore, the new heaven and new earth are after the millenium and it is then that the heavenly city comes down to earth from the heavens and God dwells with man. It's funny though that it looks like there will still be unsaved people and even wicked people that we will have to minister to. Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Although the "curse" of Adam and Eve is finally removed from the earth, it seems that heaven will really be inside the city and the work of the redemption of men will continue. It also says that only the saved will walk in the light of the city so it has nothing to do with Jew or Gentile, only the believers in Christ will enter the city no matter what race or other earthly persuasions.
