interesting... what do you mean by "pleading the blood of Jesus"? It sounds pentacostal.

The Faith of a Child,

Always go that xtra Mile.

My daughter had a strange disease, forgot the name, but it was in her stomach. She couldn't use the bathroom for awhile, then she started pooping herself, she was so depresed because it lasted almost a year. In that time she saw a lot of Doctors, and she was given plenty of medicine, and even hospitalized once, to give an IV, and to put some kind of medecine directly to the stomach through her throat. She didn't get any better. A few people from a nearby Pentecostal Chapel came and prayed for her, nothing!. Then the pastor came again and blessed some Olive Oil and wanted her to drink it, but she refused. That was the end of the visits. Then the whole family Prayed for her, nothing!. She onced asked me why Isn't God healing her, and my answer was that maybe she should ask God herself to heal her, that maybe God wants her herself to pray to him. She did that night, and she has been using the restroom ever since. No more diapers, and no more medecine, and Praise God for that!.

Yeah, I have heard that before too and always wondered what it meant. If it is Biblical, what is the reference.

A story about healing......

Once upon a time when I was Christian I thought nothing could take my love of Christ away from me. I raised in a "normal" Christian family. My father was an elder in the church and everyone from my parents to siblings were involved in the service of the Lord. So, How could I possibly have a reason to fall because I was surronded by Christians 24/7. Our family went to church twice on Sunday and once for mid-week Bible study. Than if there were any fellowship gatherings during the week my family was there. What a normal dysfunctional Christian family. Hidding in the busyness of the Lords work.

To make a long story short I was diagnosed with illness that could not be cured. That illness led me to be put in speacial needs classes for the remainder of my schooling k-12. Even though I was healed of this illness I was labled different and I knew it. However, what I did not know at the time due lack self confidance and a lack of self everything else at time I knew was different and I didn't know if it was because I was born to follow my risen Lord and baptized at age 11 or because I had laerning disability because of my illness. I became mad at God and could never express it for many years. Sometime during elementary school I was shown my first look at pornography and had first taste of beer. Not being able to express myself I ignored these issues because who would believe me any way. In my world of being a Christian we never sinned and if we did it stayed in private and was healed in private and everything would be fine. Just sweep it under the carpet and know one will ever know you had sin you needed to share. The Bible says Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. (James 5:16a) Well not knowing how to confess my faults to another these events in my younger years became a grown up addiction for me. When I was old enough I began to seek pornography and when that no longer met my needs I became involved sexually with people of the same sex. See I was never fine but I knew how to put on mask every Sunday and every time it was Christian event. Yes, God gave me several ways out but I was so caught up in my addiction that I could drive right on past the way out because I knew I had to have that sexual high for the night. I did this for 8 long years. Than I was introduced to a group called celebrate recovery a Christian 12 step program that deals with multiple hurts habbits and hang-ups of every day life issues. Allthough it is a constant struggle for me I can say that since I rededicated my life to God in this program I have freedom and victory from looking at porn for 4years and almost 4 years since I have had a sexual relationship with another man. Thank you! Jesus for your healing power and now as your word says...... If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) I now can know the power of HIS death that his healing power has cleansed me from this awful life style and power of HIS blood can make me white as snow again just like the prodigal son I have returned Jesus.

Right after I was saved, in 2001, there was a girl that I worked with that was trying to get pregnant, well she had been trying for years, but.

Finally after in-vitro and every other method, she was pregnant. (I couldn't stand her but that is not part of the story) :)

Well, a couple of months into this $50,000 pregnancy, she developed a pain in her abdomen and as if she wasn't dramatic enough, she started walking around like Quasimodo (the hunchback) because she couldn't straighten up.

She went to her Dr. and they told her she had a non-cancerous tumor in her abdomen that they could not remove until after she delivered and that the pain would get worse.

I was driving to work the next day, praying for this girl, and I said, "God, please heal her tumor because I can not listen to her moan for 7 months!" The I heard Him say "I will".

WOW!

So, when I got to work I asked her how she was doing that day and she stopped for a minute and said, "You know?, My stomach is not hurting today." I asked her when she was to go back to the Dr. and she said "I go today at 1:00".

I told her I prayed for you and God said He healed you and when you go to the Dr. today they are going to tell you that they can not find a tumor.

She kind of rolled her eyes and said OK>

About 1:30 she called they office and said, "You will never believe what!" "They even did an ultrasound and apologized for diagnosing me with a tumor because they couldn't find it."

Praise Jesus, He is so good.

Pray for your enemies and you will be blessed. :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
