jesus didnt say to the man ... " i forgave ur sins "

jesus said to him " ur sins are forgiven "

thats a very unique way of speaking called " built for the uknown "

in semetic languages like arabic and aramaic and hebrew

( i know because i am arabic )

this type of speaking in which the real forgiver is kept hidden

but only the action was revealed .... that this man's sins were forgiven

Hani you made a lot of claims that the bible is false, or altered, but you havent provided proof.

Can you answer these questions for me?

What historical evidence do you have to back up your claim that the bible has been corrupted?

Was the bible changed (as you claim) before or after the time of Mohammed?

If the bible was changed before Mohammed, then why does suras 5:69 and 10:94 praise reading the bible?

If the bible was changed before Mohammed, then would this make Mohammed a false teacher since he commended reading the bible?

If it was changed after the time of Mohammed, then how do you explain the fact that we have numerous biblical manuscripts that show that the bible is the same now as it was at the time of Mohammed and before Mohammed?

Aside from the fact that the so-called "Book of Matthew" was not even written by "Matthew" the disciple as we clearly see in Matthew 9:8-10 above, which means that the entire book could be nothing but a man-made phony lie, . . .

If the books that recorded Jesus' words are nothing but a bunch of lies -

How can you believe Jesus even spoke anything?

You believe In Jesus as a prophet - yet you will tear apart the words He spoke, claiming them to be made-up lies.

So how can you believe anything He is recorded to have said?

from my readings of the bible which started 8 years ago .... my readings of comparetive religous studies

its clear for me ... that the bible is mostly corrupt

but ... there are remains of truth in the words of jesus ..... remains

actually the rest of the bible ... is nothing but personal human words

like in the intro of luke in which he says ... i saw many writing a story about jesus christ so it seemed good to me to write one also ...

so he is not writing because GOd inspired him

but he is writing because .. it seemed good to him and to please the ruler who had the name ... theaphylles if my memory is correct ....

so ... to call the bible words of GOd is unfair ... and a totaly lie ... that even the ppl who wrote it didnt claim so (unknown ppl)

and calling the letters of paul to his friends words of GOd is another joke really ...

like paul saying to his friends ... dont forget to bring me the jacket with u

and kiss freska and kiss such person for me ... and where would we spend the summer this year .. etc

I am closing this thread. Basically Hani was not here to learn, but to spread Islamic propoganda. Hopefully everyone observed how when Hani was confronted by truth, He refused to address it. Rather, He would simply repeat what He had been taught. Our hope as moderators was that Hani would be exposed to the truth of the gospel, and see some of the inconsistencies of his religion. We did not see that happening. We can rest assured though in the promise that God's Word always achieves its eternal purposes. The best we can do for Hani is to pray for him.
