OH MY!!!!!! What was plan B? I know what happens when we as individuals get into debt. Debt bad. Balance and assests good. Lord Help President Bush, give him wisdom and forsight. We need a president with our best interests at heart and I know that these matters can't be turned around overnight so I ask that you continue to raise up prayer warriors to cover the leader you ordained to do your will, in Jesus name Amen

I'm sorry to tell you this but the Lord doesn't get involved in politics, it's up to you and me to make the right choices. As Jesus said, leave Caesars things to Caesar...

No, but scripture does teach that all those in governmental authority are ultimately placed there by God:

Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore he who resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.

Romans 13:1-2 NASB

Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14 or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right.

1 Peter 2:13-14 NASB

So Saddam was put in power by God? And Kim Jong Il and Pol Pot and Stallin and Melosevic and King George and Henry the 8th... All the evil dictators, royalty and despots in history?

American's will be much better off when this president and congress are finally out of office. When elected to office in our country, you are expected to do the will of the people. These guys only seem to have their interests in mind.

Actually from what I read in the Federalist papers it is not the will of the people that they are supposed to be doing, but for the good of the people was the original idea as written in most of their writings. We are a constitutional Republic, which is a very specialized form of democracy. We are supposed to elect the best people we can find and they are supposed to do the things that are best for our people and to keep the governing of the nation tied to the Constitution. Neither the president or congress or the senate or the courts have been doing that for many many years.......

While much of our people have not turned from God, our society has and our government is in the process of doing the same.... but considering the beast is in the background pulling the strings that should be no surprise to any of us. Just decide whether or not you are going to live by the sword or allow yourself to become slaves to the evil of this world. Just don't join the evil, even at the cost of your life, your spouse's life, the lives of your children nor your pets or all you own.

Be ready to stand quietly for the Lord, for the time to do so is at hand, and wait for that minute to decide what you will do and what you will say for he will give you both if you are close with the Spirit and are listening. Listen for the Lord is what we need to be doing. Watch and learn and listen for His quiet word for all the earth is falling into the hands of Lucifer and his followers....... we have been informed that it will happen and it is in the process of coming to full fruition, and as bad as that sounds....... the Lord Himself is close at hand for we have been promised this also..... but I can't say that I am looking forward to the next 8 or 9 years for if we are at the point of history that I and many others believe we are way over half the population will not be here in the next few years..... I have not decided as of yet if I really care to be one of the survivors, so I'll let the Lord make that decision. I just hope he keeps me with my wife whichever way he chooses.

Here is the dilemma.

We have 5 hurricanes, 911 twin tower disaster, war etc all in the last few years.

You tell me how many other presidents had all of this on their plate.

All of these things cost money.

If the president said okay, no money to help victims, no money to protect our soldiers, no money to protect our homeland etc.. The public would be screaming for his impeachment.

So he spends all this money to help and people are screaming for his impeachment.

You can't please some people.

If the president was given the line item veto like he requested, then spending could be cut.

But the way it is, he has to approve bills for worthless spending to get required items passed.

It's a no win situation.

Well that's all been discussed to death, but there are many that think that we didn't need to do this war...... and we didn't have to do it at all our cost..... and the next one is the same. If you haven't noticed He and his group are just as determined to go after Iran as he was Iraq. We have not seen anything yet. I just hope you still think he is great when most of us are living in the streets when the economy fails and we find out who actually owns the country, and the house you used to live in......

No, Iran HAS to be dealt with by the world community.

That would be nice.

The trouble is, they were supposed to help out in Iraq, too.

They failed, and left us holding the bag, for many reasons.....political, monetary (oil for food kick backs), and intestinal weakness.

Most of the other nations in the UN voted for it, but didn't have the coconuts to follow through.

Before we go into Iran, we should get some sort of promise, and signs of real commitment from other countries that vote to actually do something.

They hosed us with the Iraq thing, and we shouldn't fall for it again with Iran.

It's like everyone taking a step back and leaving you looking like the only one to step forward.

At least France is talking manly on this one, with all their "nuclear option" talk. Maybe we should just send them in and decide not to bail them out of it, unlike what we have done for most of their modern conflicts. Let them see how it feels for a while, and give our military a well-deserved rest.

1 Timothy 2

1. I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2. For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
