Greetings in Christ! I just wanted to say that my husband and I have seen a Brother in Christ do that money-folding thing with the twenty dollar bill....

God can speak to His people in more ways than we think.....if all things are truly His, as we say they are, then why couldn't He use HIS money to speak?

It is similar to finding a 'Bible Code' (Jewish author?) using numerical values for letters. It sounded sensational and could be made to work at times, but it has been scientifically and theologically debunked (what manuscript/translation do you use?). Nostradamus also had general predictions that seemed to reflect current events if you tried. Reading current events back into Revelation is also another speculative pitfall that becomes absurd after awhile. Cults (J.W.) are famous for this, but we Christians tend to jump on the band wagon. God could have done many things. The question is did He? Some things are coincidence or would fall apart on closer exam. It is like seeing Jesus' face on the donut shop wall, (subjective) etc. Discernment is needed. Scripture properly and prayerfully interpreted is our only objective, authoritative source of revealed truth.

I agree with your post for all but 1 thing..I believe the 20 dollar bill thing to be legit...that God could use money to get our attention(wtc was all about money) is not above reason...we limit God by putting him in a box..man made box...Jesus used a denari to preach a point about taxes...God does little things that nobody ever thinks about...do you think that you just happened to miss say a drive by shooting in fron of your house, that had you been there, a stray bullet would have killed you, that you missed all that just because you got "stuck" in traffic...no...God got into the situation and caused you to be delayed...

I believe in testing the spirits cause not everything out there is of the Holy Spirit. There is a difference in testing the spirits and quenching the Holy Spirit for which we have been warned not to do. I have seen and experienced the Supernatural works of God in my time...if God can turn on the cordless phone in my House and say to call someone...then he can get into the design of a 20 dollar bill to teach us the lesson behind 9/11...which was that we as a people have put money and materialism and the "american dream" far above the Kingdom of God...that we are not one nation under one God as we print on our money, but in fact we have become a nation of idols. I got an entire sermon from what the Holy Ghost taught me about a five dollar bill...so why not a 20 dollar bill...simple put....the Children want to limit how God wants to speak...

But again its a discerment thing for like it was posted in another thread, there is no way a person could see a apparition of Mary...she is in Heaven. There is a fine balance that must be walked. Blessings....

Thank you for your balanced post. God is creative and resourceful and can do many things and speak in many ways as He pleases. His supernatural hand is evident daily in many ways that many of us miss.

Did He really orchestrate the $20 bill thing? Maybe, maybe not. I personaly think it is highly unlikely or necessary to think He did. I have not looked at the evidence closely to be honest.

Ok, I looked again. I think it is very subjective to see what the website wants us to see. It is like using our imagination to see things in the cloud shapes. I have another picture that was supposedly taken from an airplane showing the robes of Jesus (no hands/feet) in the clouds. It looks awesome, but turns out to be a studio hoax. Let us not be gullible.

To be consistent with my Open View understanding of the future, I would have to reject the conclusion that God set the $20 bill thing up way before the event (I am Canadian, I assume your money design is quite old). I will stick with God primarily revealing truth through the Word and His servants.

Maybe we need to define what the Word Apparition means before this goes further...being I have no access to Webster...will have to wait on that...I never said I saw any form of a vision looking at a 20...you fold the money up...and by the design of the money..and the folding of it in a certain way...you see the twin towers...why cause my friend did it...I did not go to any website(majority of those are shams from what I gather) I am the kind(middle name of Thomas) that likes to take something like that and have it down in my presence...the only thing I take by Faith is Gods Word..and Prophecy that lines up with Gods Word...things some man stumbles upon or whatever..I have to see it for myself...its called disernment...so seeing how I saw it in person with my own eyes...I know it to be true...and the Holy Ghost bore witness to it by speaking to me on it...it does not matter how old the money system is....The Lord is the Ancient of Days..Alpha and Omega...Just cause something is "manmade" does not limit Gods abilty to use it....only thing that limits God in a persons life is their unbelief.

But I digress...I am extremely radical in my Faith in God..I believe him to be limitless...and will use whatever he needs to to reach this World..I believe a time will come when we can pray and see limbs grow back on people...I know that the dead are raised still..been documented...and not just through the vessel Wigglesworth either...here in the United States even...of course people like me are ridiculed and labled heritics...oh well...I believe if Jesus did it in his Ministry(though only he can raise himself from the dead)...and he said GREATER things shall you do in my name...well thats evidence enough for me...Blessings...

I too expect God to confirm His word with signs and wonders like He did for David DuPlessis (Mr. Pentecost), Smith Wigglesworth, Reinhard Bonnke, Peter Youngren, etc.

Acts 4:29-31 "...enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus. After they prayed...they were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly."
