Ronald,

Its not cheating!!! It pulls me terribly so I mow all the flat ground at a brisk jog.. :P Neighbor laughs at me...says I should of picked a mower that didn't outweigh me :P I learned real quick to release the "self propel" bar going downhill.... The momentum dragged me to the woodline :P I forgot to let go

Dave,

I too grew up on a farm, wow me and your wife would have a blast!!! Of course you and my hubby will probably be gray before we were done :P My hubby don't like me on the riding lawnmower either...says its not normal to turn on two wheels ;) And don't understand why I insist on high gear. I'm not into observing the scenery...I like to feel the wind whizzing past and white knuckled steering :taped:

trav,

I love it, someone else who like lines!!!! :24: Finally someone who understands :)

Wayne,

:P:24: All my male neighbors say the same thing. Will actually stop at the side of the road while I'm mowing, flag me down and say "What in the world are you doing?" Ummmmmmmm mowing....they just look at me and shake their head, then offer me the use of their rider ;) And then when I say we have a rider, they pull away with a confused look. They keep asking and offering, maybe they think our rider broke everytime they see me out there. They just cannot compute me wanting to push mow.

Bro Chuck,

Muffler Bearin?:noidea: Is that near the discombobulator or something?

Must be an accessory on Wayne's PUSH MOWER or something? :noidea::wub:

I'm sure Brad could convince it to start, I'm just afraid he might pull out his Light Saber or maybe a Long Sword. "(Heavy Mechanical Breathing) Mower.... I am your Fatheerrrrrr (Heavy Mechanical Breathing again)":24:

I know about you West Virginians and fixin cars and such. :) Just Kidding, you know I Love you Brother Chuck.

I will keep you all informed. :)

Peace,

Dave

Stephen says that if you end up taking it in and they tell you that you need a muffler bearing to tell them to just leave it as it is..

Your mower will work just fine without one and they will probably charge you $75.00 for it..

Helloooooooooo! I ask AGAIN! What is a "Push Mower"?

This question is from Wayne "if it don't ride, it ain't worth havin'" Smith.

A push mower is what I use on my steep ditches and for nothing else, lol!

What were ya' thinkin' when you bought land with "steep ditches"? :):noidea::):blink:

Ask my Dad and Mom what they were thinking, lol! They're the ones it belonged to when they bought it in 1977, lol! I'm just a latecomer who had nothing to do with buying it! :noidea: One ditch is pretty easy to ride through but the other one would break my neck if I tried to mow down it, lol!

Success!

The hulking beast roared to life this afternoon.

After some rust removal on the Cylinder head and a new coil with the proper gap setting. New life came and she was ressurected. Hallelujah! Grass was partially cut to be continued in the morning.

I still have some cut off switch issues. However after some manipulations, only slightly dangerous, she is up and running.

Thank you all for your help.

My 7 year old son Lukas watched me complete the task. He asked why I would want to turn wrenches like this. I told him first of all he should watch and learn so that he could be self sufficient and fix his own mower some day.

Then I told him real men don't ask for directions either. :emot-hug::wub::24:

The Lord bless all of you.

Peace,

Dave

true words there brother  Never ever are we lost...just sidetracked, so says hubby.

Now, about you leaving the lawn half done....don't that rider have headlights? How did you sleep knowing it wasn't all done? I would of went crazy....I'm trying to talk my husband into mounting two mag-lights on the front of my push mower, I had to stop once at night and it drove me bonkers, he just smiles at me. The way I look at it, he mounted a bucket seat from a van on his rider....so I want mag-lights on my push mower :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
