The state of the world ...

Greetings to all of you in Our Lord Jesus Christ

The world as we all know it, where we live, can be a happy place sometimes, but its mostly despair it seems. The world is the enemys playground. What do you think of the state of the world in general ? Is it good ? Is it bad ? Is it in between ? How is the trouble's of the world affecting you ? What is the state of this world we live in ? Lets all share what we think and feel and yes we really do need the Lord in every aspect of life. He is the only One that can get us to the end. Share your thoughts and feelings and please be honest. What is the state of this world ??

It is, of course, not what it once was on earth. The pollution and environmental impacts are affecting every creature on earth.

We were meant to be the caretakers of the earth and of each other. I don't think it is going as it should of been, if all men were loving God and submitted to Him faithfully.

The problems of man affect every creature. The fall of Adam in the garden is not only the fall of man, it is a fall for all the creaturees and the earth itself.

The spiritual darkness seems much stronger on earth in men than it was when I was younger. It is far more open about it's rebellion and disreguard for God and earth and one another.

I see the young people today both anxious and in overcoming helplessness, more so than any generation I have ever seen before. They seem to want to stay childern more than any other generation I have seen before, too.

I see also the loss more of natural affection for one another and their children. So many children suffering without the love naturally or spirituall that they need to live and to thrive. Too many parents not nuturing their children as children and neglecting them and those children long to stay children and fear adulthood.

Of course it affects me alot. I see it and I feel so strongly to love and help lead others to Christ for the love, Grace and hope they need.

Honestly, I think about it everyday and pray about it everyday.

We have to be the ones to help in the Harvest, we just have to have a heart to do that.

Not just wanting to want to; but, actually wanting to help!

There are so many ways we can give to God and others in our time, love and devotion. We should find that we are doing this increasingly everyday.

We have to do our utmost and know that it is by God, the Holy SPirit that He will accomplish these things GOd wants to bring more to Christ.

I often show people the fathersloveletter (whcih is teh Bible, you prob know the site with the scrolling vid,we can get books or cds or dvds with these family pictures and nature pictures on it and the promise of God being the Father you always wanted, who can do more for you than your earthly father.) I see young people drawn to that.

If we can't love out children to God, how can they know God is fair and loving? How can they make that shift from us to God? If we don't love others for Christ, who will?

Mostly that is what I think about.

As a Christian I believe all things are working together for good...

All the good things (lots and lots)all the bad things(lots and lots)...

The state of the world today is in total chaos as the bible predicted it would be. after 9/11 the Lord started realing dealing with me, i went thur the most terrible spiritual battle you could ever imagine, but thur it all i learned there Is But One Power the Power of Our Lord Jesus Christ....... i will not elaborate as most would not believe if i told them...... lets just say for the briefest of moments the Lord allowed me to partake in the spiritual realm..... i was totally terrifed at first...... but you see the Lord Jesus has prepared me for this all my life.......i came to the realization that we all talk about Heaven but do not really really ponder in our hearts that It is a real place where we really will go someday........ i prayed and prayed and cryed and cryed and interceded and interceded til i was exhausted....i did,nt want any of my family members left behind........finally the Lord gave me a promise concerning them..... i for one think the ones marked for Jesus are marked and the ones for the antichrist are marked as well........ from this moment on...........its all in the Lords hands and i trust in him completely...i have a peace that is unending today as i know that we cannot override the Lords will concerning what is to come and really its not about wrath for us but a new beginning.......when the final battle comes down......and all evil is dealt with finally.........then peace for a thousand years for us........... a new heavens and a new earth........ sorry if this is not the most intellegent writing i could write i am really tired right now......... love you all in Jesus and us who have Jesus have absoluely nothing to fear.................

easgleswings - I think you expressed yourself just fine. I agree! Things are not going to get better. They will continue to get worse. That just means we are all that much closer to the return of Christ. All the things happening in the world right now are like pieces of a giant puzzle coming together, and it is all in God's plan and purpose. Time is short.

I read this in my quiet time this morning. II Samuel 5:22-25:

Once more the Philistines came up and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim; so David inquired of the LORD, and he answered,

the state of the world scares me... now i am easily scared... but the state of the world does cos me much concern. even in my short time on this earth ive seen some dramatic and very damaging changes.....

all we can do is deal with the present world, and do our bit....

its all in gods hand, not all in gods perfect plan for the world, but unfortunately there is little that is anymore, but he knew the world would get this way and he knows what the outcome is going to be....

just like i feel that my life isnt in my own hands sometimes, its in gods or other peoples.... the world is in his hands...like all lives are

i think the biggest problems with the world today are:

murder and sexual abuse, no one seems to have any respect for each other, its all about self... i know thankfully thses people who do these things are the minority but they shouldnt exist in the first place...

how i see it is that if the worlds in this state now how much worse can it get...

im reluctant to start a family because i dont want my children to grow up in such a broken world, which breaks my heart cos my father created this beautiful planet and look wat weve done to it....

i think as christians we need to take more blame than anyone else for the mess of the world, and yes were not the ones murdering another for fun or raping 8 week old babies but this is our fathers creation....

were not doing much about it are we, these people dont care about this earth they are born live and die....

they need to know the truth....

how can we expect people to respect the world they live on if they dont love and respect its maker.....

Psa 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Psa 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Psa 127:5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Hannah..I hear ya Hon, I felt the same way when I was 23..scared to death ...

But let me tell you what this scripture means to me..

If the Lord allows us to have children in this awful ( and wonderful too..)world we live in..

then they are to be raised by you , the skilled follower of Jesus Christ, to become arrows that one day will hit the mark they are born for..

To be a praise to God..to overcome the enemy at the gate..

Yes the world is an evil place and bad things happen to good people but our children will gloriously stand in the battle against the evil..with us..

That should be a joyous thought to you, for it is to me...

Standing with my children in Christ in whatever God allows in our lives..

Remember that all is on schedule with God and all these things must be..

do not let the devil steal the joys of this life that God has wondrously allowed us ..

Fulfill Gods purpose for you , all of it ,in spite of the worlds condition ,

We are not looking to the world anyhow, we are looking to God...

and if it includes children, Praise God for the little blessings from Heaven...

As the Lord said, "the love of many will grow cold". I think we see that, there are so many angry people, so many self-seeking to the extent that selfishness is now praised, greed is praised, sexual promiscuity is praised, and good is bad and bad is good, everything is kind of becoming upside down. Which I guess makes sense given what we know about what is going to happen to this world.

Just as an aside, I find that when I don't partake in media, t.v. radio, and yes the internet, the better I feel, the more at peace I am. Somehow engaging in these things seems to put just a little poison in me.
