He hears our prayers.

Deuteronomy 4:7

For what great nation has a god as near to them as the Lord our God is near to us whenever we call on him?

Psalm 10:17

Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will listen to their cries and comfort them.

Psalm 37:4-5

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.

Psalm 55:16-18

But I will call on God, and the Lord will rescue me. Morning, noon, and night I plead aloud in my distress, and the Lord hears my voice. He rescues me and keeps me safe from the battle waged against me, even though many still oppose me.

Psalm 86:6-7

Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord; hear my urgent cry.  I will call to you whenever trouble strikes, and you will answer me.

Psalm 145:18-19

The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him sincerely.  He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.

Proverbs 2:3-5

Cry out for insight and understanding. Search for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure. Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.

Proverbs 16:1

We can gather our thoughts, but the Lord gives the right answer.

Isaiah 55:6

Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.

Jam 1:5-7 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

James 5:16

Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.

Ephesians 3:20 Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to

accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.

Jeremiah 33    3 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'

Psalm 91

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;  I will be with him in trouble,  I will deliver him and honor him.

1 John 3

22and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do  what pleases him.

John 16

23In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father  will give you whatever you ask in my name.

Matthew 6

6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Proverbs 15

29 The LORD is far from the wicked  but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

Mark 11

24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Isaiah 65

24 Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.

Hebrews 4

16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

I would say on a scale of 0 to 10, 10 being the most important. Prayer is a 12.  Having said that, I have had people indicate to me that I pray to much. I need to add legs to my prayers so to speak.

I have found when I pray, there is not to much need for leg power. Personally I don't feel like I pray enough, but do we ever feel that way.

I would run out of room posting if I told all that God has answered to me. And you know what? Most of all, prayer changes me. Probably why I am resistant to prayer sometimes. :bg:  :bg:

I absolutely love this thread!  Prayer is so important to me and lately G-D has had me in a lot of prayer.  I don't believe that anyone can spend to much time in prayer, how can it be possible to spend to much time talking to our Heavenly Father?  If anything I feel that we spend way to little time with him.  But, I too feel that prayer is a very personal and private time and I prefer to pray in private.

Hello Kelly:

I certainly was glad to read your enthusiastic post! *smile*

It is VERY important that we exercise our prayer life with our FATHER.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
