    Yes I am a very new Christian....I have been thinking about this since I posted that letter earlier....and I am beginning to believe that I just am having sooo much trouble seeing people live their lives so badly....I mean I guess I just can't believe that they don't know Jesus !....but this is my personal happiness with where I am at and this need to see everyone else as happy and content, secure that I have felt since seeking salvation.....I want everyone to feel the same way that I do !!!...I want to shout it from the rooftops !!!...I mean to feel the same peace I do...can you understand this?..I have come to the conclusion that I can not save every person who I meet....I am just not equipped to do that...I am sure I could not withstand a cutting retort if I was to try to tell someone about Jesus....I have decided to be quiet and just be as nice to him as possible....maybe sometimes actions can speak louder than words !

    Thank you for the advice I sure appreciate it....you always make sure to speak the truth and the truth you speak always makes me look a little deeper into myself...which is a very good thing :rofl:

    By the way  (if you remember this) my car did not sell....but my husband is going back to work in March and his Employer sent him a great bonus check just after Thanksgiving!!!  Prayer works people !!  God is so Good !!  He made sure all of our needs were met. (my husband has not gotten a bonus in several years,  except for the very small one last year).    And of course people are poo pooing when I thank God for this...."Your car didn't sell did it?"...well no but I truly believe that He told me to put the car up for sale...to see if I was willing to obey Him...well I did obey...and He made sure to provide...and also teach me a few lessons on patience and faith in the process!!

    You are a wonderful person CD thanks for your interest and great answers!

Angels--Hey, great news u had there!  Wow, Im happy for you.  Even for your husband to be told that he would be going back to work and when, is like God saying, "tell him" LOL.

Yes, it may have been a little test, just to see if you would be obedient (obedience is greater than sacrifice) and to see if you were willing to part with the car.

In my early days, God had healed my son of an ulcer. I was sooooooo happy, I wanted to give God something back. So I offered up my mink jacket for sale. No buyers.....for 2 whole weeks.  Then God said "keep the coat and wear it to church".

He didnt tell me to sell it, I just offered.  Same story almost.

When people try to chide you about u didnt get a buyer for your car, I would say, no, you know what? God has blessed us and got us thru WITHOUT having to sell the car!  :)

OOps, I mean  :biggrin:

Angels, look,as much as you're beaming and your LIGHT is burning so bright, I think for now God just wants you to go around shining that light; no words needed  :t2:

Meanwhile "study to show thyself approved" and that will equip you for the time when God does want you to speak.

For the first yr and a half thats all I did was study; never witnessed to anybody.  But when I'd walk in the door at work, everybody turned their heads and just look at me, with a warm hello.  Maybe that was my light shining. Also people would talk behind my back, saying whats gotten into her; she's so different. And eventually they found out I was a christian--had to put 2 and 2 together, right?

Have you heard anymore from the lady who came in your office?

Wisdom, right now she is busy with moving into the new apartment I just rented to her that day.  So she is right here and I am just giving her time to get oriented, but I briefly mentioned our "date" when the dust clears.  She said yes and ok.

Right now she has expressed her elation with her new home and that she already feels better in her health; feels so safe and "at home".  I told her it was God that sent her here, she said I know it, I really know it.

This is getting her prepared to receive what God will do at church, I believe, and she will be having that feeling of openess and gratitude for what has already happened. Then, look out  :t2:

      You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
