Are we not told to remain Blameless????

a person can be totally inocent, but if they appear to be doing wrong, then it is not a good wittness unto the Lord....

for instance.... if you go into a bar and grill, every day for lunch, you may be doing nothing more then having a sandwich and a soda.

but, your vehicle is parked out front, and people see you entering and exiting the bar and grill... to them you are a drunkard...... to them you are not walking the walk......

if a person APPEARS to be doing something, even thou that is not really the case, they should no longer do that.... if a person does not attend church, then their wittness is they have no church, that they have no Lord...

if a person has a tradition that gives the appearence of doing wrong, then that is their wittness to others, whether they are actually doing wrong or not....

even if a person is in all honesty, only praying to God the Father, thru the Son Jesus, the Christ...... and others see them as appearing to pray to ones other then the Father God, thru Jesus, then that would appear to them that you are not praying to God, but to others.... and that wittness is not doing God anygood.....

we are to remain blameless......... not just inocent.....

for if you remain blameless, the fruits of your labors will be longer lasting.....

why are we throwing out personal insults at each other???

why are we calling each other idiots???

can we not hold a discussion with out belittling each other???

even thou i do not agree with some one, I try not to personally insult them...... ( i know some times a person may "percieve" that i have....) that comes again with appearance, or remaining Blameless......

this has become a "We/Them" issue, which is hurting feelings with the name calling....

I would say at this point we all ( myself included ) need to take a break from this thread, and this discussion, and seek the Lords Guidance ( not mans ).....

you might be surprised at what you might find out.... spend some time in the BIBLE, the Word of God and on our knees.... spend time praying and fasting.....

today is church day, and believe me, I will be there, Praising and worshipping and Dancing before the Lord God.... I will be seeking His face, and more of His Spirit in me..... I can hardly wait......

God Bless each and every one.... more abundantly then you ever have been blessed before...

Considering that the Barna Organization, a well known and respected Protestant Christian Polling firm concluded a few years ago that Fundamentalist Christians have the highest divorces rates in America among Christians (even higher than Atheists for that matter), and Catholics the lowest...

Muslim rates are even far lower than Catholics. Does that make Muslim law better?

it would seem that this woman has been proeprly instructed in the permanance and importance of marriage and despite the fact she may not have been a regular attendee at Church, understands the gravity of marriage sufficiently enough to get the facts from her Church before making a flippant decision which may affect her for eternity.

I was in a physically abusive relationship. What would the Catholic Church have instructed me to do if I was wishing to get out of this marriage?

And your andecdotes about your Catholic friends and guilt and fear are all fine and dandy....they are all mere speculation on your part and completely unrelated to the issue at hand.

How's this for speculation? A friend of mine had a husband who cheated on her and then left the marriage for another woman. This friend was then shut out of the Catholic Church because of her divorce. She was allowed to attend, but couldn't be a full member - not participating in some certain rituals of some sort. Is this what GOD would want for his church? This woman, who had had a devasting end to her marriage is then outcasted by her church. This HURTS people. This does the OPPOSOSITE of what Jesus accomplished for us.

What IS clear, is that the male fiance`here is threatened by his girlfriend's seeking of independant spiritual counsel.

That is not clear at all.

This is a VERY BAD SIGN and indicate a male who wants to isolate and dominate his bride.

I think you're out to lunch.

Sorry, maybe I was a bit harsh here to you Homebild, I just feel sorry for accusations toward this poor guy. He came here looking for answers and there is NOTHING to indicate that he wants to dominate his bride. If he wanted to dominate his bride, he would just do so, and not be searching for answers.

I recieved a really far out book from some Catholics. It is supposed to be prophacies from the "saints" that a re channeld through this one woman. I didn't ask for it. If anyone wants to know more about it email me. On the marriage issue. Any woman who truely loves you will not ask you to give up your Christianity for her. If you are to continue together I would think a compromise should be reached. My mom was Catholic and my dad was Baptist. Their marriage got her ex communicated. Now they are both athiests. Pray long and hard before you marry her.

homebild,

this is the questions i have posted on one of your boards for answers.... and also replys, but, answers not have i gotten.

*****************

good morning.....

Teh Wiccan, probably got the site from the same place I did......

Mary, was not the mother of God, but the earthly mother, that carried Jesus, the Son of God......

Mary, went on to have other children by her husband Joseph, so she was not eternally virgin.....

Teh, Wiccan has valid questions, and it appears, that wiccan wont find them here....

I use to be catholic...... Yea, use to be...... I had questions and these questions were never answered

in accordance with the Bible...... I have asked these questions at different points, when people want to

try and "re-convert" me back..... they still can not answer them..... I have the answers for the questions,

the answers are right straight from the Bible, with the leading of the Holy Spirit.....

did you know that the enemy (satan, lucifer, the devil, the demons, the deceiver ) can do miricles?

remember he is the great deceiver, and he comes to kill steal and destroy..... and that includes your lives.

did you know that the first sin recorded in the Bible was on that satan got the Word of God ( the law ) to

be twisted by eve, and thus was able to convince her by twisting it even further, that it was ok to eat of the

fruit...... he deceived her first and got her to twist the word.... by changing the word ( meaning of what was

said and/or written ) satan tends to lead us all astray.....

during the times before the Christ, Jesus, arrived on the scene, we could only hope for an attonement

for our sins, after Jesus arrived, and taught us for a bit, He took the worlds sins upon His shoulders,

He presented Himself and was laid down on the cross, and nailed to it..... Jesus did not struggle, and

Jesus did not blame a single other for anything.... Jesus took all the sins of the world, ALL OF THEM.

so that we would no longer have to provide sacrafice unto the Lord, for Jesus was and is the perfect

sacrafice...... and thru Him alone, can we reach God..... thru Him alone can we see God.... thru Him

alone can we seek Gods Face.....

When Jesus died, He took all my sins with Him, and He forgave each and every one of them that day,

all i had to do was to ask Him into my life, that He be my Lord and Savior, He is My Personal Lord....

I do not serve any other but the Lord..... I can not serve two masters, and I will not.... I am not a slave,

just a lowly servant of Jesus.

Reading the Bible on my own, seeking the answers thru the Spirit of God, i found the answers I looked

for, while I was looking, seeking, no man could, or would offer the correct answer, the questions were

side stepped, ignored, or excused, but there was no answer.

here is a couple of the questions, that I had, that was never answered with an answer:

1. why is it that some bow down to statues, and pray to them??? when it is clearly written that

we shall not make any graven images, and that we should not bow down to them.....

2. why is it taught that we have to give Pentance for our sins?? Jesus paid the price for our sins because we could not afford it....... thru Jesus alone, can we reach God..... we were told to REPENT of our sins.

3. why is it taught to worship, and pray to others, other then God??? isnt it told that God is every where?

are we not suppose to go to God for our needs? does not God know all our needs before even we do?

4. If a person takes Jesus into their heart, to live there, to guide their life, to honor Him, to serve God,

why would a person have to seek one of the Saints? isnot Jesus greater they they? when the saints

( the 12 ) were on this earth, did they cast out demons thru their name? did they heal thru their name?

they used the Name of Jesus, the Christ....

5. How many miricles does it take to gain sainthood by mans thoughts? and what is concidered a miricle?

that is enough for now..... what i am looking for with these, is the true solid answer, NO EXCUSSES, NO SIDE STEPPING, NO TWISTING OF THE WORD OF GOD, AND NO MAN MADE ANSWERS, BUT BIBLICAL........

easy enough....

Mike,

Where in the bible does it tells us who the children of Mary and Joseph are? NAMES? You give one verse that supports Jesus had brothers and sisters, it never says they are Mary's children. When you GIVE me the names of the children that Blessed Mother conceived with St. Joseph, from Scriptures, I will pay you $100. Hint: you won't find the names of the any children of Mary besides Her Son, Jesus.

Where were the other children when Our Lord stayed in the Temple in Jerusalem? Why are only Our Lady and St. Joseph mentioned as finding him? Where are His brothers and sisters?

If Jesus had other brothers and sisters, why did Our Lord give Our Lady to St. John's care at the cross? What an insult that His own family was not found worthy to bring their OWN mother into their home. If you know anything about Jewish law, the oldest son took care of the parents unless he couldn't, and then the next in line stepped up to the plate. Jesus would have broken Jewish law by giving His Mother to someone OTHER than His brother or sister. Are you willing to tell me Our Lord broke His own law? The New Law did not take effect until AFTER the Resurrection, so PLEASE don't tell me He would NOT have followed the Old Law up to His death.

So you see Mike you have left ME with alot more questions than answers. I have NEVER found a prot who could answer these questions and I have yet to lose the $100 bet.

*****

Mike,

You have been deceived and lead away from the truth. Please find your way back before it's too late.

I will pray for you.

****

Pray the Rosary!

****

*********************

here are the Scriptures that tell of the brothers and sisters of Jesus...... the person that posted the 100. dollars if could find can keep it, for Gods Word is not for sale, not is the Gift of Salvation ( No Pentance needed, only repentance, )

Matthew 12:45 - 46,

John 2:11 - 13,

John 7:1 - 5,

Mark 6:3 - 4,

Matthew 13:55 - 56,

Galatians 1:19

there are names of the brothers and events at which they were present.

well, again, questions go unanswered..... Teh Wiccan got the same treatment.....

Folks, Teh Wiccan is seeking answers, let us not condemn, rather teach, share Gods love with them....

Teh Wiccan: Religion is dead, but the LORD GOD LIVES...... ON AND ON AND ON, FOREVER.... how would you like to be alife forever???? have life thru-out eternity??? with the most Glorious of Lords....

I disagree with compromise, compromise is a tool of the devil.

Look what happened with your own parents after one compromised their faith for the other. it caused them to both sacrifice their faith, and now the end result is they have no faith at all. Do you see the danger?

I would throw that book on the catholic solutions in the garbage, better yet, burn it. This whole religion is full of compromises that have turned its followers away from the true and living God. Giving glory to Mary and Peter, and the pope, all who are created beings. God will not share His glory with any one.

God does not compromise, satan does.

Amen..................actually I have kept the book and I pass it around to pastors so they can see the danger. It's scary and very very far out. This woman has claimed that Jesus and God as well have channeled through her. I would never worship anyone but God. For He is a jealous God and will not share praise!!!!

Amen Sister,

By the way, how are your parents doing now? I will keep them in my prayers.

I know what its like to be wounded by members of the body, it cuts deep.

Do they talk of Christ at all?

You may want to bring this issue up in a prayer thread on these boards, there are some real prayer warriors here amongst the brethren.

God bless you sister

In Jesus

This is just more ignorance of Catholic teaching disguised as 'knowledge'.

The Catholic Church does NOT approve of this kind of behavior and in fact has formally denounced people such as these as false teachers.

Also, it is again NOT TRUE that marriage between a Baptist and a Catholic automatically results in excommunication unless the Catholic willingly rejects the Church in the process.

If your parents are atheists it has nothing to do with the Catholic Church or Baptist Church and everything to do with their own lack of faith in Jesus Christ.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
