I think that the anti-christ is real, is here, is symbolic, and you can see him if you take a look. He was born a Christian, disliked Christians who weren't remotely following the principles of the bible, and then sought to destroy Christianity.

I would say that the anti-christ was someone who didn't believe that the bible, e.g. the OT commandment to stone people who work on the Sabbath, was the word of God.

It's funny how the Body of Christ is so often in thier own thought concerning so many things. This thread just like many topics proves that we dont know what we are talking about, and do so much guess work. I stated earlier in this thread, if you keep your focus on Christ, then anything that is "anti" Christ will be seen.

I hear so many naming who the anti-christ is and such. I find it amazing that the Word does not name a person but we do. In any case keep "looking to Jesus the Author and Perfecter of our faith".

It had to be that way. How else could God create a universe with intelligent creatures in it, yet still convince some people that there was no god? The bible is deliberately vague, and this earth is a puzzle for you to solve. The real question is - did you rise to the challenge?

Im pretty sure he'll claim to be their Mahdi. If you look at the koran you'll see that Islam is just a copy of Biblical End times only they make it sound positive.

Most "prophecies" of al-Mahdi are not in the Qur'an. They are to be found in the hadiths, which are records of words or deeds supposedly from Muhammad.
