SALVATION..... IS FREE....

Many people try to say that u have to earn your salvation but according to the WORD OF GOD ..... we cannot any way earn our saalvation.... no man is sinless but JESUS CHRIST.....

here is a little study that I have on salvation....

Salvation - is a free gift Rom. 3:1; 4:5; 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9, is eternal John 3:16; 3:36; 20:30-31, is not of works of the flesh Eph. 2:8-9; Romans 3:21; 3:28; 4:8; Gal. 3:21, is received upon acceptance as Jesus as your Savior Romans 10:9, is unconditional Romans 5:1-2; 11:35; , is forever John 3:16; Romans 8:34-39, is complete through the work of the Cross Romans 1:16; 5:6-12, can not be removed according to works; or for any reason Romans 8:34-39, is binding by a covenant contractual agreement through God in which we become joint heirs with Christ by adoption Eph. 1:5 , through which we become sons of God John 1:12.

SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT.....Rom 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit [is there] of circumcision?

Rom 3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

Rom 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

FREE NOT WORKS............ Rom 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

GIFT ....... ROm 6:23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our SAVIOUR FREE NOT OF WORKS SO THAT NO MAN CAN BOAST........

EPH 2'8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast

SALVATIONIS ETERNAL...

JOHN 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

JOHN3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

JOHN20:30 ,31And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

SALVATION IS NOT OF WORKS OF THE FLESH .

EPH.2:8,9For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: ,Not of works, lest any man should boast.

ROM3:21But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets

ROM3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

SALVATION IS RECIEVED UPON ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOUR...

ROMANS 10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

SALVATION IS FOREVER Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

SALVATION IS COMPLETE THROUGH HIS WORKON THE CROSS

ROM1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek

Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Rom 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Rom 5:11 And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

SALVATION CANNOT BE REMOVED ACCORDING TO WORKS FOR ANY REASON

Rom 8:34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [it is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

SALVATION ..

is binding by a covenant contractual agreement through God in which we become joint heirs with Christ by adoption

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

SALVATION through which we become sons of God

Jhn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Jhn 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God

MAY THE BLOR BLESS U BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN THE LORD jesusislord

see u here there or in the air.....

Isaiah 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

Isaiah 25:6 And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. 7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Is it wise to believe God? ... or is it preferable to believe human teachers who have taught us doctrines that oppose these Words?

Act 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

Act 4:9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Act 4:11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

(KJV)

Exod 19:5-6

5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

(KJV)

Exod 20:6

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

(KJV)

Exod 23:22

22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

(KJV)

4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Deut 4:1-2

1 Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.

2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

(KJV)

Deut 4:40

40 Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.

Phil 2:12

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

(KJV)

I would suggest that you take The Whole Word Of God not just those Scriptures that support your doctrine.

Take all your Scriptures, and all these, and you will see that salvation is a process that requires you to make the right freewill choices that God gives you. And what we have all posted are just a small percentage of all The Scriptures that deal with the issue.

PDC GOOD WORD BROTHER. NO that is not all of the scriptures on salvation but it is a start fo knowing JESUS is my saviour.

and if we do this we will have no problem with our salvation .

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.

Mar 12:31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

when we put the LORD GOD first in our lives and keep his commandments... we have nothing to fear do we.

BUT we first must believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST to be saved..... as JESUS HIM SELF SAID.........

Mar 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

' I can go on and on . SALVATION is just the beginning of our walk with the LORD ....... but first we must have THE LORD JESUS AS OUR SAVIOUR....

jesusilord..... MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU .

it is true, that salvation is free......

after we have received ( accepted ) salvation, then we will be inclined to be doing the works of God, the Will of God......

faith with out works is dead....

the works we do for the Lord, once we have accepted the gift of salvation will be what our rewards are based on.....

you can be saved, and yet be a pew warmer, never doing a thing to increase the flock, and your salvation will be there, but the rewards will not.....

or you can get up and do what the Lord bids you to do, and the rewards will be there....

can we lose our salvation? yes and no.... God will not actually remove it, but we can relinquish it, we can turn away from the Lord and reject our salvation. however, by rejecting our salvation, i dont believe that some one that has truely accepted it could, for once a person has basked in the Glory of God, could ever want to leave His presence..... so, if a person rejects it, turns away from it, then i dont believe they have ever actually accepted it in the first place......

if a person has truely taken the Lord as their Lord and Savior, i believe that they would not stop at being just a pew warmer..... i believe they would be wanting more and more and more of the Lord.... seeking His Will for their lives continuously....

statistically speaking, about 95% of the work that is accomplished, is accomplished by about 5% of the people...... just think about the work that is done, how grand the results are in Glorifying the Name of the Lord... if we even just had 50% of the people putting forth the same effort in their work for the Lord as the 5% that are doing the 95% of the work, how much more Glorious this world would be.....

in one church congregation i was a member of, just speaking of the tithes...... if each "active" ( a person that goes on a regular basis ) member would give just over 11 dollars a week, the annual budget would be met with excess..... this does not include those members that do not attend, and does not include those that attend and are not members...... at that time, it equaled less then 1/4th of my tithe.... this church was always hurting for money, and membership was dwendling ( active membership )..... ( at that time, i was in the lower income bracket of most in the church ) ......

people, we need to revive our hearts..... wake them up...

the time is closing in on us as to when The Christ is returning for His Church........

think about the 10 virgins..... all knew that the BrideGroom was coming, they did not know the hour....

5 were wise, and 5 foolish.... all believed He was coming, and all knew what this ment...... but 5 did not have the oil that was needed for the lamps ( these were more like torches, that one would dip and soak in a bucket of oil and then light..... they would burn for some time, then go out, and would have to be resoaked.......)

we all know that the time is close, are we going to just sit and wait for the BrideGroom? or are we going to prepare our hearts for Him? are we going to fail to keep our wedding garments snow white clean? or are we going to ensure they stay snow white clean for Him?

dont allow anything to come between you and the BrideGroom.... stay washed in the Blood, keep on the straight and narrow.....

your friend and brother, Mike

Hebrews 10:29

Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

We must be sure to take into account the term "covenant" and what it means.

Covenant:

The Heb. berith means primarily "a cutting," with reference to the custom of cutting or dividing animals in two and passing between the parts in ratifying a covenant. (Genesis 15; Jeremiah 34:18,19) In the New Testament the corresponding word is diathece (diatheke), which is frequently translated testament in the Authorized Version. In its biblical meaning two parties the word is used--

Of a covenant between God and man; e.g. God covenanted with Noah, after the flood, that a like judgment should not be repeated. It is not precisely like a covenant between men, but was a promise or agreement by God. The principal covenants are the covenant of works --God promising to save and bless men on condition of perfect obedience --and the covenant of grace , or God

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
