The seven weeks are seven years in Daniel 9:25 then in 26 it says after three score and two weeks which is 3.5 years is the false peace and the second half is the destruction. This is just simplified not probably to be determined all fact cause I am lacking due to time all the scripture cause there are many in Revelation also that speak of the seven years!!

Whether you believe in the beginning, mid or end rapture- won't it be great that worthboards will have all this information for those who are left behind.

Is it just me, or am I feeling it coming? We must continue in prayer without ceasing, allow the Holy Spirit to use us at will and get ready.

Blessings

The Rapture is a new thological theory that only dates back 150 years. For the last 150 years Rapture believers have been saying the same thing you are. Can you imagine what Rapture believers thought during World War II. Guess what no Rapture. The Rapture is a theory with no theological foundation. The Left Behing Series can be found in the Fiction section of the bookstore. That should tell you something. :noidea:

guess what

Israel was not a nation yet, as was foretold in Isaiah and Jerimiah..

the catching away, is not something that was added to the Bible in the last 150 years, nor was the verses that tell us that those dead in Christ will rise, and those that are alive and remain will follow, those have been there since the books have been written.

Christ does not come back, but calls His Bride Home.... it is not until after the Tribulation that Christ actually returns, and then it will be with His Army in company, for the Battle of Armogedon....

Israel did not become a nation until after WWII (May 14th, 1948) , and then reconfirmed in 1967 and 68.

the signs that point to the end times do not point to the rapture, nor the tribulation, they point to the end time.....

The word Rapture does not appear in the Bible, however, the concept is there. the word Tribulation does appear in the Bible... there are tribulation, and then there is the Great Tribulation... the plagues in the Great Tribulation will be worse then anyone can imagine, the plagues that were placed on Egypt will seem like a little hay fever compaired to an outbreak of the black death. the Great Tribulation period is not something that is going to be easy, not even for those that have the mark. those that choose not to accept the mark will be fighting for survival, for food will be hard to come by, and those that have the mark will be trying to turn those with out it in, for rewards.... when captured, those with out will be given a choice, take it or die....

take it or die will not happen at first, it will be voluntary at first....

just like direct deposit..... at first, the Military started offering direct deposit, then started encouraging it, then started pushing it, then started making it manditory for certain conditions ( sailors being deployed began the first that it was manditory to have direct deposit, or no pay check)... then became manditory for other area's, now it is highly encouraged for those on social security, and others receiving government checks.... one day, everyone receiving a government check will have to have a bank account and have the check set up for direct deposit....

best thing is to just be ready.....

if a person is following Christ, and it is a pre-trib. rapture, they have no worries....

if a person is not, following Christ, and it is a pre-trib rapture, they have all the worries in the world.

if a person is following Christ, and it is a mid trib rapture, they will be able to stand with the strength of the Lord,

if a person is not following Christ, and it is a mid trib, then they will find it harder to accept the True Christ, for the Anti-Christ will have them buffalloed.... (being there will be 3.5 years of the 7 year trib as being realively peaceful) the breaking of the peace treaty will be blamed on the Christian, and those that are Christian will be in hurt city....

if a person is following Christ, and it is a post trib rapture, they will be more apt to continue following, but may find it more difficult, being it is a time of survival for those that are not sporting the mark, and some will be killed for not renouncing the Name of the Lord, others will renounce His Name..

if a person is not following Christ, it will be even more difficult for them to start following the Lord, for when the day comes for the anti-christ to desicrate the temple, it will be blamed on the Christians, and those that are not will turn even stronger against God....

a vission that was given me, a couple years back, was the church is divided into three parts.

one part is taken in the rapture, and two parts left.

one of the parts left will realize their error, and repent, and will be the Christians that will go through the rapture, being the rapture witnesses. the other part that was left will blame God for their being left behind, claiming they were just as good as the ones that were taken, (havent we prophecied in your name, havent we done this and done that... i did this and you left me, i did that and you left me ............. and Christ said? I Know You Not) these will be the ones that denounce Christ, and will try to continue doing things their way, and will betry the others......

an example of this is the two thieves on the crosses beside Christ, one repenting, and taking Christ, the other rebelling and doing things his way.

the true church, (dont matter which denomination, those that are truely following Christ) will not have to worry about death....will be taken home when the time comes, and will stand strong with Christ.

i have not found anything that supports mid or post trib rapture with out throwing other parts of the Bible out.....

I have to ask...does any of this really matter?

Again, scholars much wiser, more knowledgable, and holier than us were wrong about His first coming...how can we be correct about His second?

We are told to prepare....how do you prepeare? Not by guessing how or when it will occur but by bringing glory to God in everything you do. Note the parable of the talents, in which the good servants invested the talents while the bad one hid it and waited for the master. Are we not just hiding the talents when we waste our time or make eschatology a major portion of our witnessing goal/reason. We shouldn't try to bring people to Christ because we think it's the end times; we should bring them to Christ because it brings glory to Him.

Its coming. Are you ready? It is pre-trib.... entirely before.

I would like to believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture, BUT that would contradict so much scripture. I like to compare the subject with Jews in Egypt DURING the multiple plagues. In the same way, God's people will physically remain on earth but will be shielded from many of these plagues. After all the conflict is over (good and evil / God and Satan) THEN it will be time for the victory celebration and the glorious wedding supper. -- Friendjack

It's more comfortable and convenient to believe in the easy way out--the pre-trib rapture. It's just not scriptural.

Israel didn't exist prior to the end of WWII. So, anyone that believed the rapture would happen prior to that point, were misguided.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
