Where's your evidence? Again, simply asserting something over and over without providing evidence makes your position as worthy of acknowledgment as a tabloid newspaper. Likewise, writing in bold doesn't increase the authority of your argument. :)

I Rather Doubt You Will Manage To Keep God's Holy Words Off The Boards Of Worthy No Matter How Much You Try.

:o

If I Maybe So Bold As To Slide A Little Of God's Truth Into This Merry Mix Of Condescending Denial. :)

Words Will Either Save....

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 5:24

Or Condemn....

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Matthew 12:35-37

:24:

If It Is Life And Truth You Seek, Try These Words....

Taste And Trust

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Psalms 34:8

Believe And Live

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

And Rejoice Seeker

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
Psalms 40:16

:24:

See Jesus And Be Blessed

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

"homosexual behaviour between animals is not about 'attraction' or even sex. it's about DOMINANCE. it's akin to human rape, not about human love or lust."

Good point.

Maybe this is too blunt... but.

I've seen this when my friend's dog gets together with his 2 brothers. They all seem to want to be at the back of the line. It's pretty yucky really. And these are brothers no less. Dogs have no morals whatsoever. Not good comparisons really.

I have two neighbours, the one walks around with the high pitch voice thing going, saw the other in his nice blue tank top cutting the grass with short short short shorts. I knew a 3rd guy who was a accuantice, spoke a few times and man he hated women. I know little off track. Kinda curious lol.

My father's barber is gay, and he talks lots of trash about women, too. On the other hand, I do know gays who have nothing against women. In fact, they frequently get along with them better than the other males.

Your point can obviously be argued by historians. I wonder how many of them actually beleive that Muslims were the ones to bring the world out of the dark ages? That's certainly a new one.

I can't remember why Islam got into this discussion but the fact remains that according to Islam, homosexuality is a sin.

I'd like to see a mention of recent brain-scan work done on straight, gay and transgender subjects which showed that the chemical makeup of gay men more closely reflects that of women than straight men, and vice versa - a more advanced, current version of De Lay. Also, I don't think it's ever been claimed that someone's being gay is determined exclusively by genetics. If this were the case, we might note a trend of gay parents producing a high percentage of gay children, which I don't think is the case. The refutation of the findings of the study with regard to twins was based solely on genetics; however, it could be that being gay is a consequence of being born with a different brain structure - not out of genetics, but in the same way that some people are born with greater mental capacities than others. I hesitate to use the word "condition," but not every person born different from their parents is born so because of their genes.

Also, I notice the studies referenced mentioned only gay men, not gay women, and made no reference to people who are either bisexual by inclination, who choose to experiment or who choose one gender over another due to experience. All in all, I think the link you've provided, while it makes relevant comments on a few choice studies, is not the be-all and end-all of the issue.

secondeve,

The term Fornication comes from the Greek word Porneia. This term means any illicite sexual intercourse. This takes into account adultery, fornication, homosexuality or most other sexual activity between unmarried people.

The Bible condemns homosexuality, and it also condems any sexuality between two people not married. There are many other things that are also condemned by God as worthy of death.

Let's consider what the Bible actually says. At Lev 20:13, we are told as plainly as can be stated what God's law is on homosexuality. They should be put to death without fail!!! Also Lev 18:22.

These scriptures make it very clear what God thinks of homosexuality.

This same feeling is reiterated in the Christian Greek Scriptures.

1Cor 6:9,10 gives a list of things that are condemned by God, homosexuality being one of several thinks that God will not allow in His Kingdom.

Consider Rom 1:26-31.Here a list is also given of things that deserve death, homosexuality being only one of them, because it is an unnatural act, obscene, and disgraceful..

At Gal 5:19-21, there is given a list of the fruits of the flesh, fornication, or porneia being one of them, thid includes homosexuality. None of these will be allowed into God' Kingdom.

At 1Tim 1:9,10 we see another list of things contrary to God's law, PORNEIA being one of them. PORNEIA includes homosexuality.

Rev 21:8 and 22:15 also condemns fornication, or PORNEIA, including homosexuality.

Since all who will NOT be in God's kingdom, will not be in the BOOK of LIFE, they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, the second death.

THINK, THINK,THINK, if homosexuality was born into a person, and they had no control over it, would the merciful God, Jehovah, condemn such ones. But if it is a chosen lifestyle, God is just in condemning such a degrading, unnatural, and obscene lifestyle.

This does not mean there is no hope for homosexual persons. If a person changes he can always be forgiven. Nothing is so bad that the Ransom Sacrifice of Jesus cannot cover,Acts 10:34,35, 13:38,39, Matt 9:12.

:taped:

Well said, but let's keep in mind that the commands pertaining to the treatment of homosexuals were devised for a certain people in a certain point in time. It's not that we as Christians have any obligations to kill or even verbally attack homosexuals. We can rebuke them, but I do not believe Christ calls us to cause them any real harm.

Artsylady, the Islamic peoples copied down Greek and other European literature and compiled it, saving it from the other horrors of the Dark Ages. Islamic intellectuals adored it, and they added some of their own advances to it, furthering knowledge for the re-emergence of civillization, and quite possibly saving us from being set back detrimentally in the advancement of both technology and knowledge. I could add more, but I am busy at the moment. In any case, I don't think it is debated; I am pretty sure it's now one of the facts of history.

Well, from my understanding, according to Islam, homosexuality is a sin where they would put you to death,

Faith questions. Do you consider peer related 'papers' proof of evolution?

If I've misunderstood and you have evidence for evolution as a true science (that is, following the scientific method) then please post the evidence in the other forum entitled "evolution is not science".

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
