Up to that point of Christ ruling, the earth would have been almost annihilated, including the inhabitants. That millennial reign is a time of peace and rebuilding and replenishing.

Anyway how do you claim to predict the next thousand years? Oh I know..the bible tells you so!

Yeah well how about seeking a time of peace and replenishing in the here and now! That is all humanity needs to do!

Oh, if only the world would do what you told it to. *sighs deeply*

Well it's not doing what Jesus told it to do either!

Right! Because the world is blind and doesn't know Him.

Have you watched maximum exposure lately? Do youknow that there is more murder and violent crime in the top 5 american cities each year than the total number of deaths suffered by the U.S. since the Iraq war began? That is WITH laws, both God given and man made, man STILL murders and rapes and steals. 1 in every 100 americans has served at least some jail time for felony or misdemeanor, and thats just the ones that got caught and prosecuted successfully.

I don't live in America - I don't know what 'Maximum Exposure' is. I do know, however, that crime in the U.S has gone down by a certain percentage in the last however many years, while media coverage of crime has gone up 300%. I'm not denying that men break their own laws, or that they do it regularly. I will, however, contend that jaywalking is a lesser offence than murder. There are degrees of severity when it comes to both crimes and punishments. I sometimes catch the tram without a ticket, but I've never killed anyone. 1 in every 100 Americans is 10%. Even if you increased that number to something as insanely generous as 45% (to encompass those who didn't get caught), you're still not proving that the majority of human beings are dirty rotten lawbreakers, or that human beings are naturally anarchistic because we don't all cross at the lights.

Oh no, a monkey girl. walk away, walk away.

I cna't believe you actually fell for that evolution lie.

As stimulating and incisive a debunking of evolution as that is, I think I'll move on.

Man breaks even the laws he claims to support. So man's idea of morality cannot be trusted.

You're confusing the few with the many. Following this logic, there should be no laws - either human or divine - because some men break them. Without laws, I think there'd probably be more crime, but that's the whole point: laws, even though they are often ignored or circumvented, still serve a purpose. Surely you're not seeking to deny that.

Read on and you'll see. If man can define morality however he wants, then "might makes right". Whoever wins the war determines who is the war criminal. If Hitler had won WWII, he would have prosecuted Churchill for war crimes. If Japan had been on the winning side, America would be prosecuted for war crimes.

Sadly, this can be true - with religious laws as well as secular ones. Power corrupts, is the point in this instance. It doesn't matter if your dictator of choice starts out with a copy of the Bible or the Communist Manifesto: the existence of religion and/or moral law does not change the fact that this can happen. Might tries to make right regardless of faith or creed.

The only reason law remains at all in America is because there are still enough people who have some notion of Bible morality, whether by rearing, or by faith in God, and still try to do right.

But if you take away the christians and their immediate families, you are left with nothing but murderers and rapists and thieves and liars and harlots, and idolators, etc.

Oh, man. You honestly believe this - that Christians are all intrinsically better people than the rest of us? That nobody who believes in God has ever murdered, raped, stolen, lied or prostituted themselves? Christians are, the Bible tells us, sinners: the only difference is salvation. Christians can be bad people; that doesn't change the fact of their religion. Have a look at religious nuts, like the woman who thought God told her to kill her children, or paedophile priests, or religious wars. Being a Christian gives you a moral code; it doesn't ensure that you follow it. All of us are human, for better or worse - not just the ones with crosses.

I said: There are good reasons why theft, murder, rape and genocide are bad things; they are ruled against. Charity still exists, because - as charitable athiests can attests to - religion is not a prerequisite for kindness to others. Social order is maintained on the basis that people know why the laws do and should exist.

You said: No they don't. Unsaved people either use the law for heir own gain (crooked politicians and lobbyists), or else they break the law for their own gain (speeders, thieves, rapists, murderers, liars, drug users, etc.) Or else they fit both categories.

This is absurd. You're saying that Christians never speed when driving, never jaywalk, never backslide and comit adultery or steal? What an ugly little elitism you believe yourself to be part of - and what an unreal world in which you live.

18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written:

"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;

the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."

20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.

we will reign with Christ for 1000 years here on earth.

And what happens to the rest of us at that point? Are we in hell, or are we all being ruled by Christians?

May I be blunt? You'll be in the lake of fire forever....unless you repent of your sins now....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
