Exodus 27

1. And thou shalt make an altar of Shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof shall be three cubits.

2. And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.

They were instructed to make a altar out of Shittim wood it's size was to be 5 by 5 by 3 cubits high. they was to make or engrave horns on the four corners of the altar all being the same in size. They was to overlay the wood with brass or bronze as this wood strengthen the wood and preserve it.

3. And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make of brass.

4. And thou shalt make for it a grate of network of brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four corners thereof.

5. And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.

6. And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves of Shittim wood, and overlay them with brass.

7. And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.

8. Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it was shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.

They were to also make pans in order to carry ashes away from the altar and shovels used for picking up the ashes and feeding the fire, basens, they held the blood of the sacrifices, the fleshhooks arranged the pieces of sacrifices in order on the wood and the fiepans or censers were used for carrying the fire of the altar. just all the utensils that would be needed to keep the fire going the altar clean and things needed to use when the animal sacrifices would be made on the altar and they were also to make all of these out of brass. They was to make a grate of brass that was probably a put under the edge or rim of the altar to hold all the utensils in verse 3 that was made. they was to make a place on the grate that would hold for brasen rings on each of the four corners that would hold the poles or staves in them that was to be made from Shittim wood and overlayed with brass to carry this grate. They was to construct this being hollow and with boards as overlaying everything in brass probably made it fireproof.

9. And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:

They was to make the court of the tabernacle out of fine twined linen that would be hung up on pillars and these curtains would form a oblong and perfect shape when put up in place as they was to be made 100 cubits long and 50 cubits wide that about 172 ft long and 86 ft wide and that's about 8 ft. 6 in. in height

10. And the twenty pillars thereof and their twenty sockets shall be of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.

11. And likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings of an hundred cubits long, and his twenty pillars and their twenty sockets of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.

12. And for the breadth of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits: their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.

13. And the breadth of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits.

14. The hangings of one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three.

15. And on the other side shall be hangings fifteen cubits: their pillars three, and their sockets three.

16. And for the gate of the court shall be an hanging of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework: and their pillars shall be four, and their sockets four.

17. All the pillars round about the court shall be filleted with silver; their hooks shall be of silver, and their sockets of brass.

18. The length of the court shall be an hundred cubits, and the breadth fifty every where, and the height five cubits of fine twined linen, and their sockets of brass.

19. All the vessels of the tabernacle in all the service thereof, and all the pins thereof, and all the pins of the court, shall be of brass.

sixty brass sockets was made as they buried these in the ground to be the foundation. each of the pillars was topped and then to be overlayed with silver and was to have a silver hook on it so the curtain could be hung up. all standing apart and of the same distance they was 20 pillars on the south side 20 on the north side and then they was 10 pillars for both the east and west side as all of this was put together or joined by all the connecting rods that they called bands or fillets every pillar was tied down using the brass tent pegs or pins. and then on those 60 pillars was hung about 490 ft. of fine linen fabric the gate part was about 35 foot screen woven of blue, purple and scarlet yarn along with the fine linen thread. and when it was all put together it created an enclosure and is known as the outer court of the tabernacle. the colored 35 ft. fabric was the center and also the gate of entrance

20. And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.

21. In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the Lord: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

The children of Israel were to be instructed that they bring pure olive oil that had been beaten out to use for the light and they was to see to it that the lamp was to burn always before the lord. Both in the tabernacle of the congregation that was without the vail that seperated the holy of holies with the holy place. And Aaron and his sons was to see to it that the lamp of olive oil was to stay burning always before the Lord. As it became a statue and law forever unto their generation like Aaron and his sons and his sons on down the line forever they was to see to it that the lamp did not go out from morning to evening and they was to do this on behalf of the children of Israel.

Exodus 28

1. And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.

2. And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.

3. And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

The were instructed to take Aaron and his sons along with him from out from among the people of Israel so that he could be a priest unto the Lord and his sons also. They were instructed to make holy garments for Aaron and his sons that would be for glory and for beauty. They were to speak to the wise hearted in which the Lord had filled with his spirit of wisdom in order to make these holy garments like God wanted them made in order to seperated Aaron to be a minister befor the Lord and serve in the priest's office.

4. And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

The holy garments that was to be made consisted of a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle as they was to make these holy garments for both Aaron and all of his sons to wear while ministering in the priests office.

5. And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.

6. And they shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and of purple, of scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cunning work.

7. It shall have the two shoulderpieces thereof joined at the two edges thereof; and so it shall be joined together.

8. And the curious girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to the work thereof; even of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

they was to take gold, blue, purple and red along with fine linen and make the ephod out of it that was to have two shoulderpieces to be joined together at the edges hooking it together. This was done to ensure both the girdle and the ephod was the same and matched in colors of gold, blue, purple and red.

9. And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and grave on them the names of the children of Israel:

10. Six of their names on one stone, and the other six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.

11. With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the children of Israel: thou shalt make them to be set in ouches of gold.

12. And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial unto the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord upon his two shoulders for a memorial.

they was to take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel they was to put six of the names of the twelve tribes on one stone then the other six on the other onyx stone. These two onyx stones where to be place in the ouches of gold. And these two stones was to be placed up on the shoulders of the ephod for the stones of memerial to the Lord and the children of Israel. as aaron was to bear their names before the Lord upon his two shoulders all the time for a memorial.

13. And thou shalt make ouches of gold;

14. And two chains of pure gold at the ends; of wreathen work shalt thou make them, and fasten the wreathen chains to the ouches.

15. And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.

16. Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.

they was to make ouches of gold for the stones to be set in and also the two chains of pure gold at the end of the embroidered work so they could be fastened together. and they was instructed to make the breastplate of judgement after the same work they did in making the ephod out of gold blue purple and scarlet colors all made out of fine linen cloth was to be foursquare and doubled in size a span was the length and a span wash the width of it .

17. And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.

18. And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.

19. And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.

20. And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.

21. And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes.

The breastplate of judgement was to be made where they set in it different colored stones in order to represent the twelve tribes of Israel in it as it was to have four rows of stones and each row was to contain three stones across like the first row would be stones of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle on the first row. the second row was emerald, sapphire, and a diamond. the third row liguire, agate, and amethyst and finally the fouth row of three was beryl, onyx, and jasper stones as all of these represented one of the twelve tribes of Israel as they all were to be set in gold in their inclosings. So all of the twelve tribes were represented to the Lord in this way when the priest went in before the Lord to minister.

22. And thou shalt make upon the breastplate chains at the ends of wreathen work of pure gold.

23. And thou shalt make upon the breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

24. And thou shalt put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings which are on the ends of the breastplate.

25. And the other two ends of the two wreathen chains thou shalt fasten in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod before it.

26. And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and thou shalt put them upon the two ends of the breastplate in the border thereof, which is in the side of the ephod inward.

The Lord instructed that they make chains that would be put on the ends of the wreathen work that was done out of pure gold and then was to make to rings of gold on the breastplate on top and on bottom. the other two ends then would be fastened by the two wreathen chains of gold as they would put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod before it. As they was to make two more rings of gold and was to put them on the two ends of the breastplates in the border of the gaments which was on the side of the ephod on the inside part.

27. And two other rings of gold thou shalt make, and shalt put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart thereof, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.

28. And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.

Two more rings of gold they was instructed to make as one was to be put on one side of the ephod and then one on the other side up underneath it toward the front part hooking or fastening them together right above the girdle part as this would hold the ephod in place. The breastplate would be bound then by those rings of the ephod that was a lace of blue worn above the girdle of the ephod so that the breastplate was never be loosed that way from the ephod.

29. And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the Lord continually.

30. And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the Lord: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the Lord continually.

Whenever Aaron went into the holy place for a memorial offering to sprinkling the blood he was to wear the breastplate of judgment over top of his robe in which bore the names of the twelve tribes of Israel in the stones that was attached to it. And this was made in order that they could wear it over their hearts both the Urim and Thummin were also to be upon Aaron's heart when he goes in before the Lord. As the urim and thummin was the medium in which God commucinicted his will to the priest. As this was the way aaron would bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the Lord on a continual basis.

31. And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.

32. And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.

33. And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:

34. A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.

The robe that bore the ephod was to be made in all blue color and there was to be a hole left in the top of it in the middle of it. They was to put a binding of woven work where the hole was left in the middle of it as it was to be like the hole of a habergeon so that it could not be torn. Right below on on the hem of their garments was to be put pomegrantes of blue purple and red sewn round the edges and bells of gold between each of the pomegrantes that went all the way around alternation a bell and a pomagrante all the way around the entire edge along the hem of the robe.

35. And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he cometh out, that he die not.

36. And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

37. And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.

38. And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.

It was to be upon Aaron's shoulders to minister before the Lord so when he went into the holy place and then went behind the vail curtain into the holy of holies you could actually hear those bells on the bottom of his priest garments ringing and as long as you heard those bell you knew everything was okay but if you stopped hearing those bells then you knew something went wrong and the priest was dead as a result. They was to make a plate of gold and was to engrave on it these words "Holiness to the Lord" and they was to put this signet on blue lace so they could put it on the bonnets forefront that Aaron would wear on his forehead so Aaron could be able to take on and bear the iniquity in ministering in the holy things when the children of Israel would eventually start bringing in their offerings and gifts to the Lord. And it had to be worn upon the foreheads in order to be accepted of God.

39. And thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needlework.

40. And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.

41. And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

They was to make a coat out of fine linen that was to be an embroidery work. the mitre was also to be of fine linen and the girdle was to be done of needlework. They all had a embroider coat and bonnets or hats from fine linen made and the girdles to hold them in place was made out of needlework and they was to be made to make them look glorious and show off their beauty. As the high priest's dress is actually representing his function as mediator between God and the people. And they was to wear these holy garments as they ministered before the Lord and the people as Aaron and his sons was to be anointed and seperated unto God and his use so they could do the Lord work

42. And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:

43. And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.

They was instructed to make them linen breeches or pants that was to be worn up under their robes to cover their nakedness that would go from their thighs to their loins. All of Aarons sons and himself was to see to it they wore these holy garments whenever they came to the tabernacle of congregation and whenever they came near the altar to minister in the holy place and if they didn't they would bear their own tresspasses against the Lord and they would die as a result. This was to be a law forever unto Aaron and his sons after him.

Exodus 29

1. And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest's office: take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,

2. And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.

3. And thou shalt put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.

4. And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.

5. And thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:

6. And thou shalt put the mitre upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the mitre.

7. Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.

The Lord instructed that they should do unto Aaron and his sons to to hallow or make them holy or sanctified or set apart in order that they could minister to the Lord in the priests office on behalf of the people as a mediator between man and God. And in order to set them apart the Lord told them to get one bullock and two rams that had no blemishes in them no defects of any kind. They was to get unleavened bread and unleavened wafers the bread was ro be tempered or cooked with oil and the wafers were to be annointed with oil made both being made from wheaten flour wheat bread and wafers. They was to put the bread and wafers together in one basket and take the basket along with the bullock and the two rams and Aaron and his sons with him to the door of the tabernacle. When they got there with all of this stuff they then was to bath Aaron and his sons with water at the door of the tabernacle at the entrance at the gate. Then they was to take the priests garments that the Lord instructed them to make and was to put them on Aaron first the coat, then the robe of the ephod that fit over the coat then the ephod itself the the breastplate of judgment holding the twelve stones representing the twelve tribes then they was to gird his garments up with the girdle of the ephod that held it in place. After this they was to dress his head with the mitre on which the words were in scrbe "Holiness to the Lord" and then place the holy crown on top of the mitre or bonnet. Then finally after dressing Aaron in the priest's garments they was to take anointing oil and pour it on top of his head and anoint him with that oil for service in the office of priest.

8. And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them.

9. And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

After they bath Aaron and dressed him with the priest's garments they was to do the same in dressing Aaron's sons for service as well and anoint them all with oil. As God was setting them apart to be ministers of His and made it a law or a statue that they serve in this office continually perpetual or forever the descendants of Aaron now and in furture generations as God had chosen them specifically for this service.

10. And thou shalt cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.

11. And thou shalt kill the bullock before the Lord, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

12. And thou shalt take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.

After they washed Aaron and his sons and dressed them all in their priest garments as the Lord instructed them they was to then get the young bullock and bring it to the tabernacle and Aaron and his sons was to then place their hands on the head of the bullock as they then was to kill the bullock in the sight of God at the door or entrance to the tabernacle. After killing the bullock they was to take the blood of it and apply it to the four horns on the altar with his finger as Moses is doing this here and Moses was to also take the rest of the blood of the bullock and pour all of it out beside the altar at the bottom of it.

13. And thou shalt take all the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul that is above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.

14. But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering.

The fat that surrounded the inward parts or organs was to be taken along with the caul and the two kidneys along with the fat that covered them and burn it on the altar of bronze. The flesh or meat and the skin of the young bullock along with it's dung was to all be burned with fire and this was to be done without the camp because this was a sin offering that was offered up to the Lord to make atonement for Aaron and his sons.

15. Thou shalt also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

16. And thou shalt slay the ram, and thou shalt take his blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.

17. And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put them unto his pieces, and unto his head.

18. And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering unto the Lord: it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

Then they was to take one of the two rams they had and kill it and was to take the blood of the ram and sprinkle it on the altar round about it. They was to cut the meat of the ram into pieces and wash all the inward parts of the ram and their legs. After the ram was cut up into piece and washed they was to take the pieces of the ram and lay them out on the altar in the shape of the ram before it was cut up and they was to then burn the whole ram up on the altar as this was a burnt offering to the Lord and it was a sweet savour a well pleasing offering that went up to God as it was made be fire unto the Lord. We will learn more later on about the burnt offering so I'll wait.

19. And thou shalt take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

20. Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

21. And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

Then they was to take the second ram and both Aaron and his sons was to place their hands on the rams head and it was to be killed and it's blood taken Moses was to put some of the rams blood on the tips of the ears of Aaron and his sons. Then Moses was to put some of the blood on the thumb of their right hand and on their big toe of their right foot then sprinkle the blood round on the altar. After that they was to take the blood on the altar and the anointing oil together and sprinkle it on Aaron and his sons garments and they would be made holy and seperated to God along with their priest's garments in God's sight and accepted to minister in the priest's office.

22. Also thou shalt take of the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards, and the caul above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration:

23. And one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the Lord:

24. And thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shalt wave them for a wave offering before the Lord.

The fat of the second ram that was around the rump area and the fat that surrounded the inward organs and the caul above the liver along with the two kidneys and the fat around them alond with the right shoulder of the ram was for a consecration offering that set them aside or apart unto God. They was to take one loaf of the unleavened wheat bread that was cooked with oil and one wafer that had been anointed with the oil from the basket they previously had place at the door of the tabernacle as Aaron and his sons where to place their hands on the loaf of bread and the wafer and wave them in the sight of the Lord as this was a wave offering up to the Lord

25. And thou shalt receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the Lord: it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

26. And thou shalt take the breast of the ram of Aaron's consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before the Lord: and it shall be thy part.

27. And thou shalt sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:

28. And it shall be Aaron's and his sons' by a statute for ever from the children of Israel: for it is an heave offering: and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the Lord.

After they waved it before the Lord they was to take the one loaf of bread and the one wafer back from them and burn them on the altar for a burnt offering and a sweet savour to the Lord by fire to the Lord.

The breast part of the meat of the ram of Aarons seperation or consecration to the Lord was to be taken and he was to wave it to the Lord this was the heave offering or wave offering before the Lord and this was to be Aaron and his sons portion for them to have for their work and service to God in the priest's office and this was a law that the priest's who ministered in the office of priesthood would recieve this from the offerings that would be made at the tabernacle from the people. And it was called the heave offering and the priest were to tithe to God out of this portion that the Lord had given to them from the people's offerings. See Hebrews 7:5 in relation to what is said here and also Numbers 18:21, 26, 28--32 for better clarity of what is being instructed here it will help open your understanding of scriptures

29. And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.

30. And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.

The sons of Aaron in the future generations that was to wear the holy priest garments in service to the Lord had to wear the priest garments for a period of seven days whenever they came to the tabernacle to minister as a priest there in the holy place of the tabernacle

31. And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place.

32. And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

33. And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy.

34. And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

35. And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.

But Aaron and his sons was to take the ram that was killed for their seperation they was to seethe or boil the meat in the holy place of the tabernacle and they were to eat the breast of the ram and also eat the bread that was in the basket by the door of the tabernacle along with it they was to eat the things that made atonement for them in order for them to be seperated unto God use and purpose as they were made holy by those offerings. A stranger was not to partake of of these things with the priest as they were holy and set apart for God. If the priests did not finish eating all of the meat and all of the bread in the basket then they was to take the remains that was leftover the nex morning and burn it all with fire that remained for it was not to be eaten because it belonged to the Lord and was holy. They was to make sure Aaron and his sons did all of these things as the Lord commanded them and made laws to govern them while ministering as priests and the time of their consecration was to be a period of seven days long and along seven days long for the future sons of Aaron that would continue to fill the role of priests when it came their time to do the work.

36. And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.

37. Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

38. Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.

39. The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:

40. And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.

41. And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

During the seven day period that was a time of completion of seperating and making holy the priests that was to offer up every single day up till the seventh day a bullock used as the atonement or sin offering and was to cleanse the altar and sanctify it by the blood or set it apart and whatever touched the altar would then be holy unto the Lord Reminds me of the scripture in 2 Corinthians 6:14--7:1 as the Lord is calling us to be seperate and to come out of the world to Him. As any thing touching the altar shall be holy for it was the blood that set us apart wasn't it the precious blood of Jesus applied to the door post of our hearts.

Every day for seven days they had to offer a lamb in the morning and a lamb in the evening as and offering along with those offerings they was to bring a tenth of flour that was mixed with a 1/4 part of a hin of beaten oil which was made from olives and a 1/4 part of a hin of wine used for a drink offering to the Lord. They had to do this every time new priest was to be seperated unto the service of God to minister in the priests office. I can't help but think of all the animals that was sacrificed from year to year as it says in Hebrews 10:4-18 chapters 8--10 of Hebrews is good to read and will open understanding to what scriptures we have read thus far. I'm just glad for Hebrews 10:10 that we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ it says "once and for all"

42. This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.

43. And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.

44. And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office.

45. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.

46. And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the Lord their God.

They had to do this throughout their generations every time new sons of Aaron would come to be priest in the tabernacle before God and this was to be done at the door at the gate of entrance where the altar of bronze was at where the Lord promised He would meet them at and speak unto them and he would also meet the children of Israel at as well as the tabernacle was to be sanctified and set apart by God's glory that would abide their as His very presence will fill the tabernacle His glory. God promised that He would dwell among the children of Israel just as He promised in the new testament to the saints of God in 2 Corinthians 6:16b--7:1 has promised to us even today. For we shall know that the Lord is our God that brought us forth out of the bondage of sin the land of Egypt the land of past idols that were no gods and now He abides with us as we knelt at an altar and repented of our sins and the blood sanctified and set up apart once and for all to serve the Lord in newness of spirit.

Revelation 3:20--"Behold I stand at the "door" and knock if any man hear my voice and open the door I will come in to him and will "sup" with him and "he" with me. To have fellowship with God we all got to come by way of the door as Jesus is the door that leadeth to life and we must confess our sins at the door and recieve the blood sacrifice that Jesus made with his own body and let him come in to our hearts and lives to live and he then will be with us and walk and talk with us also.

This chapter was a blessing it had so much contained with it that I couldn't even touch upon it properly so rich in content.

Exodus 30

1. And thou shalt make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shalt thou make it.

2. A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same.

3. And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and thou shalt make unto it a crown of gold round about.

4. And two golden rings shalt thou make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.

They was to make a second altar in which to burn incense upon they had to use shittim wood for this altar of incense also. The size of this altar was 1 cubit long 1 cubit wide and was to be built with four corners and 2 cubits in height and the horns on the altar were all to be the same. They then was to overlay the altar of incense with pure gold on both the top of it and the sides of it all the way around along with the horns. It was to be overlayed with gold like a crown of gold is round. They was to make two golden rings to hook or fasten up under the crown of the altar on the two corners of it on both sides these two rings were used to hold the bars that would be used for carrying and transporting the altar of incense.

5. And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.

6. And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

The staves or the bars had to be made out of shittim wood and them overlayed with gold after this was done they was to put the altar of incense out before the vail that went to the holy of holies they was to place it in the holy place before the vail curtain by the ark of testimony and before the mercy seat that sat overtop of the ark of testimony where the Lord said he would meet with thee.

7. And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.

8. And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the Lord throughout your generations.

9. Ye shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall ye pour drink offering thereon.

Aaron was to burn sweet incense every single moring on this altar to the Lord when he would go in and tend to the lamps he was to burn incense upon the altar every morning. Then again at the evening part of the day when Aaron went in to light the lamps he again was to burn incense on the altar and this was to be done perpetually before the Lord every day morning and evening in all of their generation. And they could not use the altar to burn other incense on or burnt sacrifices or meat offerings nor could they pour out drink offering on this altar of incense but they only could burn sweet incense on it to the Lord.

10. And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the Lord.

One time a year Aaron was to make atonement on the altar of incense as he would take the blood from the sin offering that was offered up and then apply the blood to the horns of the altar once a year to make atonement for the people as this altar was most holy unto the Lord. As that one time a year the children of Israel would be forgiven of sins and would feel relief but the blood of the bulls and goats couldn't take away and purge their conscious.

11. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

12. When thou takest the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the Lord, when thou numberest them; that there be no plague among them, when thou numberest them.

13. This they shall give, every one that passeth among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the Lord.

The Lord spoke to Moses and tells him whenever he took a sum of money from the children of Israel after their number then they was to give every man a "ransom" price for his soul unto the Lord whenever they was counted. They was to do this so that no plague among them when they each got numbered. And this ransom price was to be given or paid by everyone that was counted. The set ransom price was 1/2 a shekel this was the shekel of the sanctuary and was to be an oofering of the Lord to be paid for the ransom of their souls.

14. Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the Lord.

15. The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the Lord, to make an atonement for your souls.

16. And thou shalt take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shalt appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the Lord, to make an atonement for your souls.

Everybody that passed among them and got numbered or counted from 20 years old and upward had to give this ransom money as and offering unto the Lord. Both the rich and poor had to give an 1/2 shekel only the rich was not to give more and the poor was not to give less than an 1/2 shekel whenever they gave the ransom price for their souls unto the Lord in the offering to make atonement for their souls. They was to take the ransom money of the children of Israel and set it aside to be used for the service of the tabernacle so that it would be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the Lord to make atonement for their souls. Now it was Jesus was came and paid the ransom price for the souls of men to be redeemed or atoned as Jesus layed down His own life and gave His body as the sacrificial offering paying the ransom price to redeem us back. Jesus literally bought us back.

Matthew 20:28--"Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto but to minister And to give his life a ransom for many." (I'm glad to be in the number that was counted)

1 Timothy 2:5-6--"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a "ransom" for all, to be testified in due time."

17. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

18. Thou shalt also make a laver of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash withal: and thou shalt put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.

19. For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:

20. When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the Lord:

21. So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.

The Lord spoke to Moses and said that he was to make a laver of brass and the feet on the laver was to be made out of brass also in order to wash in. They was to put this laver in between the tabernacle and the altar and put water into it. They was to do this so that Aaron and his sons to wash their hands and feet before they went into the tabernacle and this was commanded of them to do before entering into the tabernacle or else they would die upon entering and coming near the altar to minister to God burning the offering made by fire unto the Lord. So they had to wash both their hands and feet so they'd stay alive and this was made a law or commandment for them to do forever and their seed after them throughout their generations.

22. Moreover the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

23. Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,

24. And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:

25. And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.

The Lord spoke again and told Moses to take spices of myrrh 500 shekels worth and sweet cinnamon which was to only be half of what the myrrh was the sweet cinnamon was to be 250 shekels worth. They was to get 250 shekels worth of sweet calamus, 500 shekels of cassia being the price of the shekel of the sanctuary and a hin of olive oil. They was to take these spices and mix it all up and make it an oil of holy ointment, they was to make it into a ointment compound after the creativeness of the art of the apothecary was like as it was to be use for a holy anointing oil.

26. And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony,

27. And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,

28. And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the laver and his foot.

29. And thou shalt sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them shall be holy.

30. And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.

They was to take this holy anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle with it also the ark of testimony the table and all the vessels the golden manna pot the candlestick and the lamp snuffers and the altar of incense. They was to anoint the altar where the burnt offerings were to be sacrificed the laver and it's feet of brass. As they was to annoint all these things with this special oil and sanctify and set these things apart unto God so they would be most holy to the Lord and if anything that touched them would become holy. And they was to anoint Aaron and his sons with this holy anointing oil and consecrate them making them holy and set apart so they could minister unto God in the priest's office.

31. And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.

32. Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.

33. Whosoever compoundeth any like it, or whosoever putteth any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.

Moses was instructed to speak unto the children of Israel and he was to tell them that this was to be an holy anointing oil unto the Lord throughout their generations and they was not to take this special holy anointing oil and pour it upon man's flesh nor was they to try and make this holy anointing oil for themselves or any like it because it was a holy anointing oil to the Lord. And if one tried to make a likeness to it the whoever put any of it on a stranger they was to cut that person off from his people as a result of it.

34. And the Lord said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:

35. And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:

36. And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.

37. And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the Lord.

38. Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.

Moses was instructed by God to take sweet spices, stacte, onycha, and galbanum. along with sweet spices of pure frankincense each of them was to be the same amount in weight. They was to take all of the sweet spices and make it into a perfume as they mixed them altogether pure and holy. Some of it was to be taken and beaten very small so it could be put out before the testimony in the tabernacle where the Lord promised to meet with them as it was to be holy unto them even most holy. The perfume which they was to make was for themselves according as God told them to mix it up. and it was to be holy for the Lord use. And those who tried to copy or make similiar pefume like it to smell it then they was to be cut off from his people as a result and the perfume was holy to the Lord.

Exodus 31

1. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2. See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

3. And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

4. To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

5. And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

6. And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;

The Lord told Moses that He had called Bezaleel who was from the tribe of Judah and had filled him with His Spirit giving him wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in all different types of workmanship in order to create cunning or tedious work or crafty to be able to work with gold, silver and in brass. God had given him the ability and skill to be able to cut stones and be able to set them and he would have the ability to also carve out things in wood just all kinds of work that God wanted done. Also along with Bezaleel God had chosen Aholiab from the tribe of Dan and not only these two but it said to all that are wise hearted had God put wisdom in that they may make all that I have commanded you. I sort of take that to mean any of the people who were wise hearted would out of wisdom of heart chip in and helped wherever possible to see to it that the tabernacle of God was built so that He could dwell among His people.

7. The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,

8. And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,

9. And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,

10. And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,

11. And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.

God had chosen these two to build the ark of testimony, the mercy seat on top of the ark, all the furniture the pure candlestick of gold with it's furniture like the snuffers etc,. and the altar of incense also the altar of burnt offerings with it shovels to carry the ashes away etc., the laver for washing and the foot of the laver it was to sit on also the priests garments for Aaron and his sons to minister in the priest's office in. And they was to make the anointing oil and the sweet incense to use in the holy place. Bezaleel from the tribe of Judah and Aholiab from the tribe of Dan had been chosen to build these things according as the Lord had instructed Moses that they should be built according to the pattern God had given to him.

12. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

13. Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.

14. Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

15. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.

16. Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

17. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

The Lord told Moses to speak to his people and tell them that the Lord's sabbath they should keep because it was a sign between the Lord and them throughout all their generations in order that they would "KNOW" that it was the Lord who did sanctify them. As it was the Lord who brought them out and seperated them and is making them a holy nation out of all the nations of the earth God set the nation of Israel apart. So they was to see to it that they kept the sabbath for a holy day to them and if they did not keep it and defiled it instead then those were to be put to death. They was to work six days and on the seventh day they was to take rest as the seventh day was holy to the Lord. The sabbath was to be observed throughout their generations for a everlasting covenant and agreement with God because God had heard their cries while in Egyptian bondage and had brought them out with a mighty hand and set them apart from all the people's of the earth. And the obsevance of the sabbath day was a sign that showed their loyalty and gratitude to a Holy God who came down to them and rescued them and set them free gave them liberty from the awful taskmasters they served under as on the sabbath day the children of Israel was to rest and reverence the Lord on that day reflecting on His goodness and be refreshed in the Lord. see Hebrews 4:1-11 esp. v4 I am glad everyday is holy to the Lord and we can be refreshed every single day as we have entered into His rest and have ceased from our former lifestyles of sin as we was set free from bondage and set at libery to serve the one true and living God as it said in verse 4 "For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day "on this wise" And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. I'm reminded of the scripture that says, to come to Him those that are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. I'm glad I've entered into His rest.

18. And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

After God had finished communing with Moses up on top of Mount Sinai, God give Moses two tables of testimony that were stone that the laws and commandments were written on with the very finger of God to take back and give to the people. The very words of God written with the finger of God right in the stones. see 2 Corinthians 3:3-6 as God has made us able ministers of the new testament as He has written on our very hearts with His own fingers His very laws as He took our hearts of stone away that was hardened by sin towards Him and has given us a heart of flesh that is conscious towards Him as we give ourselves over to His will for our lives as he cut the foreskin of our old heart away and give us new life in Him. see Romans 2:28-29

Exodus 32

1. And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

2. And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

3. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

4. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

5. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the Lord.

6. And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

7. And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

8. They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

9. And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

10. Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

11. And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

12. Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

13. Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.

14. And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

15. And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.

16. And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.

17. And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.

18. And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.

19. And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

20. And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

21. And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?

22. And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.

23. For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

24. And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.

25. And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)

26. Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

27. And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

28. And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

29. For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves to day to the Lord, even every man upon his son and upon his brother that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.

30. And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the Lord; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.

31. And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.

32. Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

33. And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

34. Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.

35. And the Lord plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
