Only God knows if Benny is saved and actually receiving prophecies. However we must treat likes of Benny Hinn as we are told to do with all so called prophets, we must challenge and examine him

Certainly his practices are questionable. A year or so ago he was in London, a couple of people from my church went to hear him. Benny said God had told him that he was to warn the people of Britain that a great disaster was to come upon the land that would claim a lot of Christians lives and test our faith etc, he even gave a date for this to happen. He told the people that he wanted to tell people about this in detail, but if they wanted to hear it they would have to pay

Is that really true?

Wow, he is a genius, yet this is one of the oldest ploys in the world of confidence scams. It goes way back to the fortunetellers and gypsies, reading the future for a price.

I like Hinn because he is shameless. When called on most of this stuff, he admits it and says yeah I did it, because God told me so and so what? I deserve to be rich and blessed, then he just smiles and laughs and goes about his business as happy as a clam.

In some way I admire these guys as the last of the great showman, no doubt he would have been selling alexir for what ails you, and we must admit they are good at what they do, there is skill there and talent. It is really very American, if something can be sold, we will find a way to do it.

False Prophesies

Benny: I had a word of prophecy from Ruth Heflin. You know who Ruth Heflin is? Ruth prophesied over me back in the '70s and everything she said has happened. She's just sent me a word through my wife and said, the Lord spoke to her audibly and said that He is going to appear physically in one of our crusades in the next few months.

Steve Brock: My God! I'm ready for that!

Benny: Yeah. She -- I'm telling you! -- she said, the Lord spoke to her audibly and said "Tell Benny I'm going to appear physically on the platform in his meeting."

Benny Hinn (Benny Hinn with Steve Brock, This is Your Day, TBN March 29, 2000 )

The Spirit tells me -- Fidel Castro will die in the 90's. Oooh my! Some will try to kill him and they will not succeed. But there will come a change in his physical health, and he will not stay in power, and Cuba will be visited of God.

Benny Hinn (Orlando Christian Center, Dec. 31st, 1989. )

I believe that Jesus, God's Son, is about to appear physically in meetings and to believers around the world to wake us up. He appeared after His resurrection and He's about to appear before His second coming.

Benny Hinn (TBN Praise-a-thon, April 2, 2000 )

"You know, a prophetess sent me a word through my wife right here, and she said 'Tell your husband that Jesus is going to physically appear in his meetings.' I'm expecting to see -- I'm telling you that, I feel it's going to happen. I know deep in my soul something supernatural is going to happen in Nairobi, Kenya. I may very well come back -- we may very well come back with footage of Jesus on the platform.

The church is in control, not God

" . . . the anointing is dependent upon my words. God will not move unless I say it. Why? because He has made us coworkers with Him. He set things up that way."?

Benny Hinn (The Anointing. 1992. p.82)

"God came to earth and touched a piece of dust and turned it into a God."

Benny Hinn (TBN, Dec 1, 1990)

"When you say, 'I am a Christian, you are saying, 'I am mashiach' in the Hebrew. I am a little messiah walking on earth, in other words That is a shocking revelation.... May I say it like this? You are a little god on earth running around."?

Benny Hinn (Praise-a-thon TBN November 6, 1990)

"Poverty comes from Hell. Prosperity comes from Heaven. Christians do not have Christ in their hearts. Sow a big seed, when you confess it, you are activating the supernatural forces of God."?

Benny Hinn (Praise-a-thon (TBN), November 6, 1990)

"Man, I feel revelation knowledge already coming on me here. Life your hands. Something new is going to happen here today. I felt it just as I walked down here. Holy Spirit, take over in the name of Jesus...God the Father, ladies and gentlemen, is a person; and he is a triune being by himself separate from the Son and the Holy Ghost. Say, what did you say? Here it, hear it, hear it. See, God the Father is a person, God the Son is a person, God the Holy Ghost is a person. But each one of them is a triune being by Himself. If I can shock you - and maybe I should - there's nine of them. Huh, what did you say? Let me explain: God the Father, ladies and gentlemen, is a person with his own personal spirit, with his own personal soul, and his own personal spirit body. You say, Huh, I never heard that. Well, you think you're in this church to hear things you've heard for the last 50 years? You can't argue with the Word, can you? It's all in the Word".?

Benny Hinn (Praise The Lord, TBN October 3, 1990)

"God sent Jesus as an example to see if we could retain and maintain the Holy Spirit in human flesh."

Benny Hinn (TBN July 23, 1997)

"Now, Jesus endured the cross and looked towards the cross by the power of the Holy Ghost....And here's something that's amazing. Paul! He was kept sinless by the Spirit. Because the Bible says He offered Himself spotless through the Spirit. Watch this, it's right here. "How much more shall the blood of Christ Who, through the eternal Spirit, offered Himself without spot." So had the Holy Ghost not been there, then Jesus would have sinned."?

Benny Hinn (Praise The Lord, TBN, April 24, 1998)

"Adam was a super-being when God created him. I don't know whether people know this, but he was the first superman that really ever lived. First of all, the Scriptures declare clearly that he had dominion over the fowls of the air, the fish of the sea--which means he used to fly. Of course, how can he have dominion over the birds and not be able to do what they do? The word 'dominion' in the Hebrew clearly declares that if you have dominion over a subject, that you do everything that subject does. In other words, that subject, if it does something you cannot do, you don't have dominion over it. 1'11 prove it further. Adam not only flew, he flew to space. He was--with one thought he would be on the moon."

Benny Hinn (Praise the Lord, TBN December 26, 1991)

...never, ever, ever go to the Lord and say, "If it be thy will..." Don't allow such faith-destroying words to be spoken from your mouth. When you pray "if it be your will, Lord," faith will be destroyed. Doubt will billow up and flood your being. Be on guard against words like this which will rob you of your faith and drag you down in despair.

Benny Hinn (Rise & Be Healed! p. 47-48)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
