Greetings everyone,

There seems to be a lot of discussions on Catholicsism here lately, and I have been doing my best to not reply but just read.

For it seems to me that any other one that I have participated in were unfruitful and often lead to very bad spirits being revealed in the discussions, such as arguements, anger, name calling, twisting of scripture etc...

Well I am a former Catholic and just dont believe what they believe any more and do not see where I have to defend myself why I think that Catholicsism is wrong.

So I would like to do what a lot of Catholics have led me to do when they want me to learn of their teachings, and that is to lead me to and refer me to web sites that "backup" where they are at in their beliefs.

Here is a website by a former Catholis nun, and she exposes the religion for what it really is. I hope you enjoy it. It is awesome and full of truth.

It's truly sad the ones who hate the most the Catholic Church are former catholics themselves.

If you didn't like the catholic faith for whatever reason that's ok, but if you specially resent the Church then there is something wrong and it's further proof that you are not fully converted in Christ.

I dont know where you read hate at all. This is typical of a lot of catholics in that they read into things, words that were never said. No one even said anything about resenting the catholic church, it is the teachings of catholicsism that I resent, for they are leading many down the broad path to destruction.

The scripture tells us that if anyone comes with a gospel other than the one we have heard, that we are not to even invite such a one into our homes, this is the teachings of the bible they are not my own. It also says that those who come with such a teaching are accursed, again the bile teaches this, it is not my own.

One would do well to get before God and prayerfully ask Him, and not rely on the teachings of religion, there are many religous people going to hell, many of which are very well intended people.

This site was very much giving in the spirit of love, maybe you should read it first and after reading what she has to say and then making a choice, you would perhaps embrace the truth and expose the lie.

Jesus is Lord and there is no other name under heaven by which you must be saved. This includes your blessed virgin Mary and the saints that you pray to for deliverance from your enemies.

I will say that I hate the religion of catholicsism, but very much love those who call themselves catholic, my family and a lot of my friends are catholic.

I believe that a lot, not all, if they would really study their catholic catecism and compare it to the bible and what it says, as well as study their catholic traditions and also compare that to scripture with a sincere desire for truth, would leave the catholic church in droves.

For they would find a living God who has made the sacrifice for sin once and for all, it is finished it is done. And they would see that Jesus is God Almighty, the beginning and the end, not just a Savior but God Himself.

The same God who had said Thou shall have no other gods besides me.

Any thing worshipped is another god before God, and this includes the worship of man, which in this case is Mary and the saints, which by the way all those who believe in Jesus and have been born again are saints.

we donot need man to cannonize us to sainthood, for with man this impossible anyway, this can be done by God alone by the rebirth of our spirits and the salvation of our souls.

Its hard to say, they seem mostly critical but that doesnt mean they read any of it.

The first two chapters, if they read it would put them on their knees. The history of the catholic church is not too pretty.

I am going to purchase this book, its much easier to read than this bright computer screen.

Yes, but unfortunately, the Catholics just do not care.

I think they do care, but are just blinded to what is and isnt...... even when the "infallible", can not make up its mind as to what is and is not to be.... one day a person is persecuted for believing one thing, and the next they are persecuted for not believing it....

their history has contradictions and many falicies.

I only hope one day that all eyes are opened before it is too late.....
