I call it emotional blackmail. The supporters of the "stemcell research" want the scientists to have free reign on whatever stem cells they can get their hands on. It's sickening, it'd be like harvesting a human being for body parts. Sure, make a clone of yourself, then keep your full grown other in deep freeze and remove the organs as you need them. That's how I see it with embryonic stem cell research, those embryos need every cell, every mineral, every enzyme to develop into a human being and people want to destroy the embryos and harvest their stem cells. That is barbaric beyond all boundries.

There is no proof that embryonic stemcells help cure anything. Pioneers may say they need time, but every embryo that is destroyed in their research is one less human being that should be living. I will never support it. When a life or death decision has to be made, and there is no clear "right" choice in the matter, we should always choose life. God has a plan for every life. We must not interfere with that.

Just because someone with Parkinson's is on meds doesn't mean their motions are controlled. Since I'm assuming nobody here knows Fox, I think it's disrespectful and mean to accuse him of "faking" something that has afflicted him and caused him intense pain for years. I would also argue that testifying/appearing without taking meds is completely legitimate and not an "exaggeration" at all, since it's a representation of the true nature of the disease without the medicine that Fox can afford but others can't.

I would say acting and faking mean pretty much the same thing.

Maybe Rush was off of his medication when he said it.

Michael Fox is very ill and ill people who don't know God are desparate. He is very wrong about stem cell fetus use, but he still needs the love of Christ and our prayers.

They are not trying to convince the viewers that the enterprise is real.

They are not trying to manipulate elections and decieve the general public.
